The atmosphere is accogliente, food is good, service is friendly. There was only 1 person that night, the cook, who did everything from serving table, cook and take payment. We were lucky to be the first customers therefore we didn't have to wait for too long.

A typical Valsesian osteria, with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and exposed wood and stonework, this place is truly unique. The dishes are typical of local Piedmontese cuisine, well-crafted and of good quality. The service could be improved, and the dining room layout leaves some room for concern. Wait times are long, allowing for an hour and a half on holidays, so don't rush.

An incredible experience, both culinary and human. The owner was fantastic, the hospitality was excellent, and the cook was incredible! According to a magazine, the trattoria dates back to 1910. The new owner has been in the business for two years. I'll start by saying that I'm generally very critical and eat almost nothing, and we arrived late at 2 pm, and she let us eat anyway without a reservation (but since it's small, it's better to book during regular hours). Here, I discovered real food after a long time. We had polenta and venison with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, and the best polenta concia ever! Homemade food, a small, mountain-style setting with a fireplace, and a very homey atmosphere, just what we wanted. She managed to give us a wonderful experience and a wonderful memory of the place! Low prices for the quality of the food, which was excellent. We left feeling relaxed and satisfied! 😀 I'm happy that there are still real chefs who know how to cook so well with fresh, local products. You absolutely must stop and try this restaurant in Boccorio in Valsesia!
