20/05/2025: Piccolo ristorante arrampicato sulla montagna del bacino di Suviana, si avvale di un bel panorama ma…. di scarsa sostanza. Con amici ho cenato in questo ristorante. Ho ordinato il Peposo, una sorta di spezzatino di manzo molto pepato. Mi è arrivato un piatto con al centro quattro pezzetti di spezzatino e attorno delle erbette. Ho faticato capire il sapore dello spezzatino perché la porzione era veramente misera. L’ho comunicato alla cameriera ma non ho avuto risposta. Al momento del pagamento ho chiesto di parlare col cuoco il quale ha detto che la porzione era da 2hg e ½. Allora lì mi sono sentita veramente presa in giro perché quattro miseri pezzetti di carne non fanno quel peso. Anche i miei amici non sono stati particolarmente soddisfatti, neanche loro avevano dei piatti piuttosto scarsi, e hanno convenuto che il mio piatto era veramente una presa in giro. Se in cucina avessero finito questo spezzatino avrebbero fatto più bella figura a dirlo chiaramente, avrei cambiato ordinazione. Sicuramente non ci tornerò più.

04/09/2025: Yes it’s an American steak house but the Italian food from the risotto, pasta and desserts were authentically wonderfully Italian! The staff is very nice, accommodating, hard working and bilingual. We stayed in the adjoining hotel for a week of all day meetings.. the best part of the meetings was lunch and dinner. Eventhough we ate there all week it was never boring.. the menu they created was wonderful but I’ll warn you .. you will not leave HUNGRY! Every dish was fresh and amazing. A couple colleagues were vegan and vegetarian; they were not disappointed! If you’re travelling through Santhia it is worth stopping in for lunch / dinner or a drink at the bar for a game of pool!

21/10/2025: Fast unloading, no waiting. They start working at 8:30, but they open the gate a few minutes earlier.

08/09/2025: A small restaurant on Via Cottolengo, beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly, though slow to serve, and the food is very good (large rolls). There's a limit on how many orders you can order per dish, which is unusual for a sushi restaurant, which usually only limits certain dishes. Overall, it's good; we paid €47 for two, so it's still affordable.

03/10/2025: Incredible pizzas. I recommend coming right around dinner time: a little earlier or later and the variety of pizzas diminishes, but if you come at the right time, you can try every type of pizza. I have a weakness for the desserts, which are truly delicious. Friendly and helpful waiters. Obviously, since it's a pizza tour, silence and tranquility aren't the place's strong points, but it's part of the experience.

26/11/2025: Piedmontese-style fritto misto dinner. Very chic atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good food, slightly small portions. The fritto misto was reheated, and some items were even dry. When we asked for second helpings of one or two items, we were told it was limited and couldn't be ordered. I was a little disappointed considering the price.

01/11/2025: Unfortunately, the evening wasn't to our liking. There were so many mistakes... The poorly set table, the bottle of wine served already opened, the waiter touching the diners' plates every time he served something, and, above all, the reheated Piedmontese fritto misto. We won't be back.

02/09/2025: A refuge nestled in the greenery, offering a limited but excellent cuisine. Daniele, the owner, is always smiling and friendly. There's a bocce court. Outdoor seating is also available. You can walk around the area. Recommended.

29/08/2025: For lunch, two of us had wild boar polenta and tongue with greens. Delicious. Excellent value.

19/08/2025: Strategic location, ample parking, excellent products, and the option to purchase local cheeses. Prices are average.

28/08/2025: Lunch was decided at the last minute, and it couldn't have been a better choice! The place is clean, tidy, and classic, with a superb view of the lake. We ate inside due to the unpredictable weather. Delicious food, good wine, and fast, top-notch service!

25/08/2025: Today, August 24, 2025, I had lunch at the Pescatori restaurant. Excellent. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the lake fish main course. The waiter and the young woman who helped him were both kind and classy. From the table on the outdoor terrace, there was an exceptional view of Lake Viverone. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner. Giorgio
