Trattoria Alla cisterna In Biella

We had dinner on Sunday evening, a very quiet and welcoming place. The food was good and the prices were very competitive. The risotto with Toma Biella cheese wasn't quite al dente, but it was excellent in terms of flavor and creaminess. I recommend it to everyone!

Piazza Cisterna in Biella is the most historic part of the city, where you can have lunch or dinner under the arcades without the traffic.

Lunch was booked on a Wednesday, half an hour early. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. There were two of us in Biella for work, and we were looking for a place downtown to eat in a timely manner and with a quality meal. This place offered us a first course (fusilli with radicchio and gorgonzola) with perfectly cooked pasta, just al dente, and tasty; a second course of a trio of vegetables (for me) and a roast beef with vegetables and sauce (for my colleague). The portions were adequate and presented just right, for a total of €10 (first course and second course). House wine and dessert were included. We were very satisfied and will return for our next business meeting in Biella.

Lunch with friends during the Warhol exhibition. Simple place, quick service. The daily menu offers a few dishes at very reasonable prices.

I don't know how we ended up in Biella, but I'm so glad we came. We ate delicious pasta, truffle ravioli, mushroom risotto, and polento at this lovely place. We drank homemade wine. The staff member was very helpful. The place is small and charming. The prices are below average.
