Trattoria Nocca In Biella

The place is very simple, but the food was fresh and tasty. The polenta concia was excellent, a sure thing. The prices were reasonable and appropriate for the location. We're in the mountains, in Oropa, so everything fits together. I'll be back, and today on the plains it was 34 degrees Celsius, 27 degrees Celsius, a real treat.

Arriving to visit the Sanctuary, we stopped by chance for lunch. Excellent food, sublime view! I recommend the buttered trout; it was delicious and crispy, so much so that we ordered a second helping. Fair prices. Recommended, but book ahead!

The Trattoria is in a beautiful location, high up, behind the Oropa Sanctuary, good view, but let's talk about the fundamental part, appetizer: two slices of speck, two slices of lard per person (mixed cured meats :-)))))) ) some beans, a slice of tongue, two micro tomini, here I was dismayed, first courses: they arrived too quickly, while I was eating the polenta concia, in itself also quite good, but timing, distances, are important, otherwise the Chinese passport is triggered, in those parts they bring everything together, service, kind, polite, NOTHING to say, but as for the rest, I've tried much better, shame, really shame, I had other expectations!

We went to this restaurant, booking a few days in advance as it was Easter. I have to say the food was truly exceptional. The polenta concia was literally mouth-watering. The agnolotti were exceptional, and the braised beef was excellent. The desserts were also exceptional. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They accommodated all our requests. To be honest, the place is a bit small, but...who cares when you eat this well. Congratulations to everyone.
