Rustic and familiar environment, with friendly and approachable staff. Excellent typical dishes, from polenta to meat, with prices appropriate to what is eaten.

We came to this restaurant for lunch on January 2nd hoping it was open and luckily it was 😍 the owner was super welcoming and the service was very fast. We had an appetizer with cured meats and local specialties which were delicious (especially Russian salad and beans). Then an excellent wild boar with mouth-watering polenta. For dessert we had a steaming homemade strudel which was also very good. Recommended to anyone visiting the Basilica!

We were here for lunch on a Sunday, choosing to sit outside, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sanctuary and the landscape. We opted for two first courses and a polenta concia to split in two. All very good, the service is basic but efficient. Prices are good and booking is recommended if you want to find a place.

Abbiamo aspettato un bel po' per sederci (essendo domenica e non avendo prenotato) ma l'attesa è stata ricompensata dal buon cibo: ottimi sia i primi che i secondi. Buona cucina casalinga e prezzi onesti.

Location unica, sembra di mangiare sulla Cupola del santuario🤩 consigliamo veramente di pranzare qui come abbinata alla visita al santuario, dista pochi minuti a piedi dal parcheggio più alto, la vista è impagabile, il cibo preparato con cura, davvero buono! E poi…. non c’è la ressa di persone che generalmente scelgono i ristoranti più in basso per non fare 5 min a piedi in salita! Un posto tranquillo, servizio gentile e grande scelta con ottimi prezzi. 👍🏻

05/12/2023: Ho avuto il piacere di ospitare alcuni colleghi per un aperitivo, immediatamente ci siamo resi conto che avemremmo consumato anche un'ottima cena. Attenzione! Non un apericena! Fortunatamente l'onnipresente formula "paghi poco e mangi un sacco di porcate decongelate" semplicemente non esiste! Abbiamo bevuto 5 cocktail differenti, tutti realizzati dal gentilissimo e professionale Omar. Con una semplice intervista, 4 domande, ha carpito l'essenza del gusto di ciascuno. Abbiamo gustato la selezione di aperitivo che consta di 4 voci...ideate, realizzate e servite, non brutalmente fritte dal freezer o scolate da un vasetto! Abbiamo poi proseguito con la cena e concluso col dessert. Una menzione particolare va al caffè, non è raro trovare orribili brodaglie in contesti simili, invece qui si percepisce un'ottima miscela e una cura per la macchina che fa la differenza! Caro o economico? Boh, non importa...è stato all'altezza delle aspettative e tanto basta!
