17/02/2026: A True Local Gem in the Heart of Piazzo ❤️ Located in Piazzo, the beautifully preserved medieval upper town of Biella, Osteria Due Cuori sits under the historic arcades, perfectly in tune with its surroundings. Piazzo itself is a charming, timeless area, full of history and atmosphere, and well worth the visit on its own. The osteria is a quaint, cozy spot, run with great care by a young man and his aunt; la Zia. Both are extremely friendly, efficient, and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. I started with a very good Negroni, followed by il nostro vitello tonnato con caramello al limone — excellent, with a lovely balance of flavors. For the main course, I had the Tagliata “Marchisio” alla piastra (approx. 300g) with oven-roasted potatoes, exactly as expected: perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Worth noting: I was there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. It’s not a large restaurant, but the fact that I was the only tourist says a lot… this is clearly a place with a strong local following and an excellent reputation among Biella residents. A wonderful experience and definitely one to be repeated.

05/02/2026: What can I say, a unique experience with unique dishes. I chose the "percorsi" tasting menu. AMAZING. An experience you absolutely must do if you're in the area.

02/02/2026: The restaurant is surrounded by somewhat dilapidated buildings and trattoria-like signs that make you wonder if you're in the right place. Fortunately, once you're inside and savor their dishes, any doubts vanish, leaving room for the satisfaction of savoring high-quality cuisine. Of the many Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited in Piedmont, this is certainly one of the best. Each dish was refined and well-crafted, never lacking in nonsense or neglecting flavors and textures. The service was good but aseptic (just a quick briefing about the dish and off we went), a bit slow (we sat down at 1:00 PM, got up after 4:00 PM), and even the chef was glimpsed in the dining room for just 30 seconds to greet someone I believe was a regular. So perhaps I missed the guidance during the tasting experience, but that's a very subjective factor. The price was truly excellent. Ultimately, this is a restaurant you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.

13/02/2026: A typical Biella tavern serving traditional dishes and more. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The food is excellent, very tasty, and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and quick. The orecchiette with porcini mushrooms were phenomenal, fresh, and well-seasoned; they were enough for just the main course. They mainly offer meat dishes; I also had the cod with polenta, which was truly delicious. To finish, an apple strudel with ice cream, also delicious and warm. The location is rustic, like a tavern. I was given a table in the corridor, which is a bit narrow, but all the others are well-placed and spaced out. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming in the winter, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Parking is a bit far away, being within the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), about 200-300 meters. I will definitely be back.

05/02/2026: The arrival was as usual, we were full with reservations but we'll see... When we left there were still many empty tables!! The polenta with gorgonzola was full of lumps and very thick. No! The milanesa was very soft, very bad, we discovered it was baked in the oven... We left it all uneaten... Restaurant not to be repeated!!

Professional, very sweet and very kind! The place, not just a simple bar but much more! It offers very varied and interesting events and experiences, a gem in my opinion, is the coffee with chestnuts served in vintage cups, exquisite attention to detail 😍 I consider it a place to make new acquaintances in every field and spend moments of priceless joy and serenity.. A precious rarity.. Not to be missed! 💎💎

The mountain views are breathtaking, and the surrounding trails offer rejuvenating walks. Perfect for those seeking spirituality, nature, and art all in one place. Absolutely not to be missed!

06/01/2026: Good restaurant, simple and affordable. Homemade cuisine, set menus range from €13 to €16. Neapolitan à la carte dishes range from €7 to €9 per dish. I went on weekdays. The sanctuary is the starting point for numerous hikes and mountain bike excursions.

Cristian, the restaurant's owner and chef, welcomed us with skill and professionalism. A very welcoming place, Japanese cuisine with an Italian touch, and top-quality ingredients make this restaurant an absolutely must-try culinary experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

07/03/2026: An excellent pizza restaurant. One of the favorites in Biella and the surrounding area. The Santuario Pizza 🍕😋 and the specialty pizzas from the Amalfi Coast are excellent. Highly recommended.
