23/10/2023: The food was not very spacial. The simplest of dishes were all right but as soon as you ordered something a little less classic they seem to really mess it up. The service was something to be ashamed of. The food arrived with a 30 minute difference between people and the waiter was distracted as well ad rude to the table when we were nothing but respectful. Do not recomennd at all. At the end the waiter pulled a member of our table from his seat and dragged him to an automat in a semi violent manner. The toilet was horrible, the drinks were bad tasting. This place is truly the butthole of rome.

However...
I bought the amaretti twice (delicious). Once they didn't calculate the tare weight, and I paid €30/kg for the tray!!! The second time I bought the bag of amaretti, and the weight was slightly less than declared.

Trattoria "La Truccanese"

25/09/2025: Last night, overcome by an uncontrollable craving for pizza, my partner and I went here. It's a modest, retro place.
The owners, a brother and sister, welcomed us. They were very friendly and served us very quickly. According to the owner, they're no longer a trattoria, but only a pizzeria.
We ordered an Italia and a Pugliese and, as we always do, split half so we could enjoy both. We'll be back. Truly delicious pizzas, highly recommended!
