15/04/2025: We are in Sampeyre to evaluate whether to continue coming or... choose another holiday destination. Today is Tuesday and it's raining... damn, will we find a quiet place to have lunch? We try calling and they immediately answer us in a friendly and familiar manner; Nicoletta come too, we'll be waiting for you. We find friendly people, the environment is very nice, well-kept and warm. On the walls are beautiful photos of the town as it was in ancient times. The food is fresh, plentiful and excellent. Bresaola rolls Penne with cherry tomatoes (fresh) and basil Capocollo and chips, all washed down with a quarter of wine. Cake and coffee. Quick lunch, chosen from a very varied menu. We spent the right amount... Mrs. CATIA and her husband are very friendly and good-natured people. I wasn't looking for anything else. I don't know about you!!! Don't go too many, otherwise there won't be room left for us!!!!!! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

07/05/2025: If you pay attention to the substance and are not scared by the entrance of the place which is a little retro like its interior, then you are in the right place. I found the staff very kind and helpful, I thank Guglielmina and her sister Paola for making us feel at home, as if we were at a family lunch. We started from the appetizers, really good and genuine, with the encore, to move on to the first course, homemade lasagna. As a second course we enjoyed some excellent lamb, truly tender and tasty, it literally melted in your mouth, accompanied by potatoes. The dessert was spectacular: a trio of three desserts with a beautiful, truly fresh final fruit salad. There was no shortage of coffee with a generous glass of grappa. For wine we had some barbera and some dolcetto. If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend it, don't forget to book and remember that the place is closed on Saturdays.

20/02/2025: In viaggio di lavoro fra Asti e Chivasso, decidiamo di fermarci sulla statale in questa trattoria che da fuori aveva il classico aspetto della piola che riesce a soddisfarti a pranzo con un prezzo giusto e la scelta si rivelerà azzeccata. A sinistra i tavoli di quelli che decidono di farsi un pranzo a scelta, a sinistra i tavoloni di chi sceglie il menù del giorno, un po' di convivialità non ci spiace. Polenta per cominciare, poi scelgo delle tagliatelle come primo e, addocchiato il carrello del bollito che passa fra i tavoli, non posso fare a meno di farmelo affettare e accompagnarlo con un buon bagnetto verde. Di dolce il classico bunet e il tutto accompagnato da un mezzo litro di rosso discreto per pasteggiare. Ottimo il prezzo, se passte da queste parti e dovete fare un pranzo alla buona con cucina piemontese fermatevi, non credo ne resterete scontenti.

07/07/2025: Evening with friends for a pizza, terrible experience. I'm sorry to say I do not recommend it. We ordered two inedible farinata dry that tasted of nothing. Opted for pizza tour but it was a bad idea, raw and rubbery pizza. Paid enough to have eaten almost nothing.

13/06/2025: Very negative experience. It was an end-of-year pizza party for elementary school, which was supposed to be a moment of celebration for children and families. The agreed price was increased at the last minute without explanation, with a final difference of 90 euros. Furthermore, there was an error in counting the seats and 6 people had to eat sitting on the steps, in unacceptable conditions. We returned the next day to ask for clarification in a civil manner, but we were verbally attacked by the owner, with arrogant and rude attitudes. Unacceptable behavior and terrible management. Highly discouraged.

04/07/2025: The drink prices at the outside bar are completely inflated. If you're willing to pay a lot for subpar service, this is the place for you.

21/06/2025: Great bakery. We lived in the same building, and the smell was fantastic every day! We tried all sorts of croissants, and they were truly delicious and highly recommended.

07/06/2025: We went for an aperitif on Saturday at 6pm. We ordered 2 proseccos, 1 iced tea and 1 iced coffee with some snacks. We brought the drinks to the outside table and we started off badly. After 5 minutes, 2 small savoury croissants cut into pieces and a bowl of crisps arrived. At 6.40pm a girl started to clear away the whole outdoor area, removing chairs, tables and closing the umbrella.... making us understand that we should have gotten up... So we did... I went in to pay... 28 EUROS FOR AN APERITIF THAT WAS WORTH HALF.... I brought everything to the table, there was nothing to eat and you gave me a prosecco for 10 euros???? NEVER AGAIN..... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

23/06/2025: The owner and restaurateur is extremely unfriendly! My food also had mold, which I didn't notice until the first bite. The next day was horrible! I can't imagine what would have happened to me if I'd finished my meal... I don't even want to think about it. We left everything. Instead of apologizing, he became rude and rude. 17/06/2025: Honestly, I don't know how it's possible that there are more than positive reviews of this place, which in my opinion has very little positive. To reach this place, the navigator makes you take a very narrow road, apart from this, once you arrive you find yourself in front of an old place. Even the interior is old, poorly lit, not to mention the bathrooms... as for the food, however, the price is high for the quality and what is offered. A very simple cuisine of low quality, where the owner can't even answer some questions about the ingredients... one of the worst places I've been to.

07/06/2025: VERY NEGATIVE experience. The first room the air conditioning was broken (the guy from the reception also went to check), he checked and found that it was not working. He changed our room, unfortunately the second room the air conditioning did not work either. We spent a night like HELL, very hot room. FAIR BREAKFAST I asked for half a refund from the owner through BROOKING, with which the HOTEL replied that it did not refund. All this on May 29, 2025. Before booking a room in this hotel, call first to find out if the air conditioning works in the rooms. I thank BROOKING for apologizing instead of the HOTEL OWNER. I will never, never, never return to this hotel.
