The chiacchiere served with a raw ham of terrible appearance even if the flavor was good.

18/08/2025: This family-run agriturismo offers top-quality products, many of which are homegrown. The place is welcoming, with fair prices for the quality of the produce and the service offered. The portions are truly generous. Their yogurt, chestnuts, and polenta are highly recommended. The owners are wonderful people. The place is surrounded by nature, with beautiful landscapes and views. Several trails start right from the agriturismo. We'll definitely be back.

13/08/2025: We ate here for lunch on a Saturday. The waitress who looked after us, as well as the entire staff, was extremely kind and helpful. Everything, from the appetizers to the coffee, was truly delicious and plentiful. When it came to paying, we were in for a surprise, as we expected to spend much more. We paid less than €30 per person, including dessert and coffee. We'll definitely be back!

08/07/2025: A very small but fine wine bar in Borgomale. We came here for dinner and had a mixed plate of typical Italian antipasti, as well as two regional pasta dishes each. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere in the old cellar vault was both rustic and modern. The wine selection is typically extensive in the region, but they also offer wines by the glass if it's just the two of you and you can't manage a whole glass.

30/08/2025: We had lunch at the Castello di Pavarolo restaurant and the experience was truly enjoyable. The cuisine was excellent: we were delighted by the light and flavorful fritto misto, accompanied by a Freisa Terre dei Santi, crisp and refreshing, perfect for the dish. The desserts also confirmed the excellence of the cuisine, with a trio of zabaglione desserts that won us over. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, without any particular extravagance: a simple yet pleasant place, where the quality of the food and the attention to detail are the absolute protagonists. Recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic Piedmontese cuisine in a peaceful setting.

28/08/2025: We arrived this evening without booking, but there was no problem, they made us sit calmly, even if it is always advisable to book, we tried a first course with duck ragù, tagliolini 30 yolks, delicious, second course, sliced ​​ox heart, it melted in the mouth, and to finish 6 samples of desserts, not the usual tiramisu or panna cotta, I would have liked to have seconds, the chef very professional and above all very passionate, he explained to us every ingredient used for the desserts, a spectacle to listen to him, he described the Piedmontese mixed fry that we will definitely try next time, what can I say, kind staff, a special mention for the chef, young, very kind and really good, fast and accurate service, definitely to return.

10/08/2025: Hey there 🥂 beautiful view, nice atmosphere, everyone's friendly, expensive but not too much, there are bottles of wine for as little as 22 euros, it's a family-run business, the women work more than him 😁😂👻 But he's kind, a little peculiar. I, a vegetarian, had the pasta, which was good and plentiful, mushrooms and spicy potatoes were very good 🥂

29/08/2025: Returned after several years, approximately between 5 and 6. Upon learning on site that the Chef we had met on our previous visit had sadly passed away... truly saddened.... Unfortunately, we also found that the menus we had found years ago no longer exist, and the current menu, I would say, is quite sparse... In any case, we opted for an appetizer, a first course, and a second course, also using a Smartbox voucher we had, but we felt that for what was offered, the value of the Smartbox had been "underestimated." In any case, some of the dishes were good, while others were a little less so, given the previous level of the location. A bottle of sparkling wine, purchased and paid for separately through Smartbox, rounded it all off. Small flaws in the service, such as the cutlery used for the appetizers, not being removed with the dishes, and when choosing dessert, the Chef's choice was brought instead of mentioning the possible dessert option. The dessert served, an ice cream according to the waiter, was two scoops of semifreddo with cream and butter inside, completely unrelated to ice cream. I hope things improve in the future, as it would be a shame if a decline in the menu and staff could tarnish the reputation of a place that once had a 5-star rating, and perhaps more, across all possible ratings.

19/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant almost by accident, and it was like finding a treasure. The dining room is spectacular, truly peaceful and romantic, thanks in part to the decision to space the tables apart. The dishes are delicious, the staff courteous. We were truly satisfied and will definitely return.

07/08/2025: I remembered the drinks were good... but I didn't remember the food being so good!!! The BSA beers are always amazing, but the "guest" beers are also excellent, especially the sours. The burgers 🍔 are amazing, the bun is divine, and the "crudino" with tartare was amazing with every bite... the golden potatoes (they're the ones with the best oil!) were rarely such high-quality! In short, whether it's an aperitif, dinner, or just a drink with friends, the place welcomes you with a warm atmosphere among vintage sofas and chairs! And the bill... very fair! I don't know how many years it's been since I found a small one for €3! Well done! Keep it up!

27/07/2025: During our vacation, we had a fantastic meal here with our two daughters. Local cuisine with delicious dishes in generous portions. Every dish was delicious. The perfect and friendly service from the owner's daughter was especially special. She was incredibly customer-friendly and thoughtful, even when it came to preparing dishes for the children. Service as it should be, but even better because you can see and feel the passion for the restaurant and the food. Perfect!

Io e il mio ragazzo ci troviamo da queste parti per un weekend di spensieratezza ed eccoci a cenare in questa graziosa location con vista, dove abbiamo avuto modo di godere di piatti gustosi, ben fatti e sopratutto ben serviti! Bonus track al simpatico e professionale cameriere! Davvero grazie per questa bella e gentile esperienza.

28/08/2025: I've been working in the restaurant business for 15 years. My daughter's birthday was the first and last birthday we'll ever celebrate. The decorations on the table were just to show they'd put a number, and the cake should have at least said "Happy Birthday" and the child's name. Absurdly, when it came time to pay, it seemed like it was already written that I had to pay extra. In front of me and others, he ran the bill three times because it seemed strange to them that everything was in order and that we didn't owe extra money. When the third time he ran the bill, and there was extra money, he didn't even offer a candy to the five children who were there, or even apologize that everything was fine. They can keep the extra money, but they could have avoided this kind of treatment. It's the first and last time we'll celebrate there. Recommended for friends or acquaintances of the owner.
