11/07/2025: During my recent visit to this charming Italian restaurant, I had the pleasure of trying their prawn spaghetti with tomato sauce. The dish was nothing short of delightful! The prawns were perfectly cooked, and the tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the pasta beautifully. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine. It's a true gem!

11/07/2025: We had such a superb lunch we went back for dinner! We got lucky and were able to get a table without waiting both times (we went early)! Sitting in the courtyard was lovely. Superb pastas. Excellent fritti misti. My son who doesn’t eat seafood ordered the green peppercorn steak and it was unexpectedly great.

17/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The dinner was perfect, the value was incredible, as a €14.50 per person menu with two typical Venetian dishes is truly rare. The spaghetti with squid ink was delicious, as was the chicken breast in white wine; there's a wide selection on the menu. We finished off with a delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The owner was incredibly friendly, and even recommended a pastry shop for cannoli and a place to go for delicious cocktails (we followed his advice and were thrilled). The Sicilian man who works in the dining room was also very friendly, and the atmosphere was truly welcoming. The owner explained to us that they've been open for 15 years and opened following the bankruptcy of McDonald's. Long live traditional Venetian cuisine and Venetians! We'll be back soon!

08/08/2025: Molto bene. We joined the risto by accident. The waiter guided us to the back of the building and the terrace to hava lunch. Great spot and atmosphere. Food was incredible. We can highly recommend all dolci.

07/08/2025: Friendly staff, easy-going lagoon-like location, excellent quality fish but the portions decidedly TINY to avoid calling them cicchetti, in short, let's look at the bill... decidedly salty and not in line with the portions brought to the table. It's the first time but never again. Absolutely not recommended.

28/08/2025: The ambiance and service were very good. However, there were a few difficulties overall: There were 10 of us, or three families. One family's appetizers came after the other two families' main courses. And those plates were almost empty. The lasagna portion was smaller than a small bowl of cereal. One appetizer didn't come with pecorino, even though it was listed on the menu. The insalata mista didn't come with balsamic vinegar, only oil, salt, and pepper. The final bills for all three families had incorrect items, for example, two extra cutlery sets (yes, here you still pay for the cutlery/dishes according to outdated Italian tradition). The drink orders also had a few errors. But the food, such as pizzas, pasta, and the asado beef, was very, very tasty and highly recommended. It was truly enjoyable to dine on.

12/08/2025: Had lunch last week. Beautiful, well-kept atmosphere, a sense of history and an important philosophy. Then, perhaps because I arrived with high expectations, I'd say I was a bit disappointed. The person serving me didn't exude any empathy or hospitality. The food, admittedly, was good, but nothing truly exceptional. I have serious doubts about the fruitiness of the cuttlefish. I'll return another time to make sure I wasn't just unlucky.

26/08/2025: The food is delicious and comes relatively quickly. We didn't have a reservation, so we got a tiny table for two, which barely had enough space for the food. The portions are large, very good value for money. However, after we indicated that we would pay, we had to wait a very long time, because you can only pay with one waiter and it's a fairly large restaurant, we were in a hurry, so that was annoying.

23/08/2025: The food was good, there were a lot of people (dinner on a Friday evening in August) and therefore the waiting times were very long, and the atmosphere was a bit noisy.

23/08/2025: We took a class to learn how to make traditional pasta & tiramisu the right way :) It was an incredible experience and probably the highlight of our vacation period this year! The atmosphere, food and most importantly, the people, were outstanding. Of course, we returned for the delicious traditional food. Absolutely recommended, even with a baby! We will definitely be back next time we are in Italy, and shall bring more family members with us to share the experience and make memories. Grazie and until next time!

16/08/2025: The food was out of date, it felt like supermarket food. The service wasn't great at all; one person dropped the wine, and another made a fuss about what we wanted to eat. The atmosphere felt like a rave party with the music playing.

12/08/2025: I've been going to the Fattoria for decades, and the quality hasn't changed. The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked simply yet deliciously. The price is average for a seafood restaurant, but given the quality...

31/08/2025: A truly positive experience. The waiter Claudio, a true professional, offered us a selection of appetizers. There were 12 courses, both hot and cold... so good and so plentiful that we couldn't stop eating. He then offered us a taste of the superb risotto, which will have us coming back for the first courses. The service was very attentive, with plates and cutlery always being replaced, and with attention to water, wine, and bread. We'll gladly return. The price was fair for what we ate. Two real niceties... I'd add a spring-loaded lock to keep the bathroom door closed.

26/08/2025: Excellent choice for lunch! 🍴 In Isola Rossa, this restaurant offers a truly affordable fixed-price fish menu for €20: a first course, second course, side dish, and water or wine included. Alternatively, for €16, you can choose just the first course or second course, also including a side dish and a drink. Fresh, well-cooked dishes and generous portions. Fast and friendly service, perfect for those who want to eat well without wasting too much time. Excellent value, I highly recommend it!

06/08/2025: The general atmosphere in the restaurant was okay but the acoustics were pretty awful. You couldn’t talk to a person sitting across the table. The general food was ok but we also ordered some lasagna and it was horrible. The lasagna arrived almost cold like it was frozen and then microwaved. It also didn’t have any bećhamel sauce and the meat was unseasoned. Also, the tomato sauce tasted like store-bought, pre-made tomato noodle sauce and there was no Parmesan cheese on the lasagna. All in all, it wasn’t a great experience.

05/08/2025: I recommend this restaurant. We visit every year. They maintain a high standard. The fruit is fresh, the pasta is delicious, and the desserts – tiramisu and profiteroles – are incredible. The food is served quickly, clean, and delicious. I recommend it. The wine in carafes is wonderful 🤩

01/08/2025: We have been to the Osteria and I agree with most comments on the quality of service, atmosphere and taste of the dishes. Our experience although has not been of the most rewarding. I can accept the philosophy of the place, also can understand the imbalance of 100 different wines and the short menu, I am prepared to accept the price and surcharge for location and view. What I cannot condone is the portion control. The job of a restaurant is not to be confused with that of a dietician. Pictures to testify that a plate of pasta at €22 with a ragù of mussels - with no mussels as evident from the photo- is not more than 70g of dry weight. Equally a €26 sarde is made of 7 small ones. So I hope the chef and the team understand that customers are ready to accept some compromises but not the lack of consideration of the environment they operate in - in Italian I would call this Lesinare: the intent to reduce the provision for the sole purpose of pretending to be posh. I would hope this review is taken for what it is. Recognition of good intent, feedback for improvement on the execution.

28/08/2025: A very good lunch at this rustic restaurant. We had schie (scallop shells) with polenta, creamed cod, and sardines in saor, and finally the baked turbot recommended by the waiter. To finish, the Venetian pudding was excellent.

07/08/2025: After a great experience with takeout pizzas for lunch, I decided to return that evening for dinner with some guests. Unfortunately, it was a terrible choice. The service was chaotic and inattentive: the waiter's advice proved completely wrong, and the dishes arrived several minutes apart, completely ruining the pleasure of dining together. Even worse, the children's order was completely forgotten, along with another dish that we had to re-order. In a context where you're trying to make a good impression on guests, this kind of disorganization is unacceptable. It's a shame, because the pizzas had given us hope. But the dinner was disappointing in every way.

06/08/2025: The atmosphere and ambiance are truly special. The waiters are kind and helpful, and the food is truly delicious. I highly recommend the pizza and spaghetti alla Busara.

19/07/2025: Wonderful experience, attentive staff, excellent cuisine, the expertise clearly evident. The seafood tasting menu features fantastic dishes, including linguine with butter, anchovies, crumble, and sublime shrimp tartare. Highly recommended for those who want to eat WELL. Delicious desserts.
