11/11/2025: We loved the quality of the food and the service here so much that we returned the day after we first tried Anice Stellato. They have a great menu focussing on local produce - if you can, try the anchovies with vanilla butter. We would go back just for that dish if we could!

09/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation even though there were plenty of free tables and the manager wasn't friendly and didn't accept us without a smile and didn't even try to find a solution.

20/09/2025: Dining on Grand Canal, across from Basilica Santa Maria was quite an experience. Delicious, high quality food and immaculate service. If you expect massive dishes, like most average American tourists in the reviews, there are other restaurants available. This is for beauty and quality. Hemingway risotto was 10/10.

04/11/2025: A very good restaurant with traditional cuisine, just steps from the opera house. A very cozy place, delicious dishes, a good wine selection, and a very complete menu. I recommend the pumpkin gnocchi. Armando's service was spectacular; he was incredibly friendly, courteous, and attentive to detail. 100% recommended.

01/09/2025: The prices don't match the quality and quantity. Dinner for three cost over 200 euros, and everyone left hungry. The mixed grilled fish was a scam. Everything smelled like grilling kindling. The staff barely spoke English. I'm giving it 3 stars only for the delicious canola and frozen torte.

19/11/2025: The food was okay, but the service wasn't to our liking. Tourists are mainly there to get their money out of their pockets; they're only friendly when they succeed. It was too pushy for us, and we didn't feel comfortable, which should be the goal of a restaurant visit. Avoid.

18/11/2025: We dined here on our final night in Venice and it was a perfect farwell meal. Every dish was delicious from appetizers to dessert. The service was spectacular especially our waiter and the host. They even customized one of the dishes per the request from one from our party. They pleasantly surprised us with complimentary limoncello and cookies to top off our dinner. They really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was one to remember.

29/10/2025: We are very disappointed by the service. We checked one day in advance if we can come to eat and drink and they said “yes we are open”. So we cycled with kids more than 20 km to find out that the place is fully booked. They did not even allow us to sit inside as they were still waiting for guests. They said that we could wait (after a long conversation the waitress said maybe half an hour), but no guest had any meal on their table so i doubted we could have food sometimes soon. A suggestion - if you expect us to book your place then say “yes, please come, for how many and for what time shall we book your table?” This would help everybody involved. Luckily we found a lovely homely place 4 km back (Osteria dal Pupi), enjoyed the food and the hospitality immensely! So we are glad we did not stay.

29/10/2025: We returned on Monday to eat at this beautiful little restaurant, and as always, we had a wonderful meal. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and cheerful...everything needed to make this place truly enjoyable. We highly recommend it.

05/10/2025: We ordered two well-made first courses, but the problem was that we ordered an appetizer that wasn't on the menu: a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses. We were told it would consist of four types of cured meats and two types of cheese; instead, we received eight slices of sopressa, eight of mortadella, and six of latteria. My obvious mistake was not to ask the price of this "precious" appetizer, but I was acting in good faith and, above all, optimistic. What a mistake! The price was forty (40) euros!!! Yes, you read that right, 40 euros. Let us, readers, weigh in.

01/10/2025: Fantastic 👍🏼 The top address in Cavallino. Fish, meat, pasta, and seafood of the finest quality. Very attentive service. The dishes are beautifully presented and served quickly. Reasonably priced. Indicate before ordering if you would like to pay separately. Reservations are recommended. Very busy in season.

30/09/2025: This restaurant was great. Hold on tight! Tell me where else can you get a pizza magerita for €7. (When I was there) They even had chairs for toddlers. Simply a great tip for vacationers in Italy.

21/11/2025: Not suitable for Spaniards, it must be 😅 We went in to ask if we could have a drink, and a thin man with dark glasses (I should have asked his name, because his colleagues aren't to blame for his rudeness) didn't even bother to understand us. He shouted at us, telling us to leave if we didn't have a reservation. Taxi drivers recommended the place, and the way they treat non-salespeople leaves A LOT to be desired. Zero manners and zero respect. I hope they're at least a little nicer with the other customers.

21/11/2025: Typical Venetian place with tons of cicchetti and spritz for 3 euros! And it's all perfectly done! Highly recommended!
