02/06/2026: One of the coolest restaurant experiences I've ever had. Food was great too. Drinks were superb. Service was amazing. My only complaint was it runs a little long. From the moment we walked in until we left was about 2 and a half hours. If they cut about a half hour out it would've been perfect. There was a little too much waiting between courses but still a great experience

01/06/2026: Very calming and enjoyable. The waitress did have some delays that caused our visit to be extra long but I think it was things out of her control. The food was maybe a 6/10. Some was great and some was just ok. I left full enough but not stuffed. I would reccomend it if you're looking for a unique experience

12/07/2026: Best restaurant experience ever! The staff treated us like family. They took care of the kids first offering them special items to their liking and getting their food out early. The staff was extremely friendly and when we were struggling to decide on what to order suggested a seafood pasta fixed menu for the table. It was perfect. They ever treated us for apps and desert to celebrate our special occasion. Wonderful experience, food and staff!

12/07/2026: From the outside, the restaurant is rather unassuming (no outdoor seating), but cozy inside. We were there for lunch and had a good Caprese salad and Fritto Misto. Delicious house wine and a huge wine list. Very friendly service from two young men. Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: I tried to give it a 4 star but I can’t. Nothing to complain about. Nerano pizza was delicious. Soft crust and light and very tasty. My wife’s pizza was called Tropea. Tasty as well. Both a bit spicy but not too spicy. Bonde 🍻beers to go with it. In 🇨🇦this would be a medium pizza so we almost took a whole one back to the hotel. Service was exceptional 🤙🏻. Outdoor patio along the rail on a beautiful evening was great❤️. Highly recommended 👍🏻. $45.60E

20/07/2026: Fish restaurant,,at the end of the lagoon,, where I wouldn't expect so many people. The fish mix was very tasty and the pasta as well. Tiramisu probably the best I've ever eaten. The nature around is beautiful.

13/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery on Fondamenta San Severo. Lunch was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated the quality of the ingredients. The fritto misto served in a bowl was light and crispy, just as it should be. Even the presentation of the dishes was meticulously crafted. We will definitely return to this wonderful place. An authentic and truly unforgettable Venetian experience.

21/06/2026: The atmosphere is quiet and very spacious, the service is fast and very attentive, the food is perfect, with the freshest fish and shellfish—what more could you ask for? The price is reasonable for the amount of food and in line with the average, and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend it to everyone.

01/06/2026: A wonderful, small family-run restaurant with a pleasant interior. Fresh fish and I recommend trying the crudo, as well as the tiramisu for dessert, made with Mom's recipe. Fast service and friendly staff.

26/05/2026: Antiche Carampane deserves its reputation and then some. I had this restaurant on my list for at least 15 years, and I was so pleased to finally eat there. It ended up being my favorite meal in Venice, and I already cannot wait to go back. The cuttlefish in sepia with polenta was magical. Every other dish we had was outstanding, with another standout being a perfectly prepared octopus appetizer. The desserts were also very well done. The cooking reflects tradition, execution and real warmth. The setting is also wonderful on a quiet lane with a beautiful jasmine tree just wafting its scent towards you. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. A truly memorable Venetian restaurant.

24/05/2026: A beautiful ode to seafood with some meat and vegetarian options too. I strongly recommend going here if you like good quality seafood and have a decent budget. The warm bread (if you have an early lunch reservation) is excellent and the best we had in Venice. I had spider crab pasta and my friend had a ground duck meat ragu. We both really enjoyed ourselves. If I had come with a seafood lover I would have ordered more!

12/07/2026: Very clean pizzeria and restaurant with tasteful decor. Fast service and friendly staff. Since I discovered pizza here, I can't eat it anywhere else. I often return with friends and they're all very enthusiastic, and if you've had an extra beer, there are rooms above the restaurant available upon reservation. Highly recommended for baptisms, communions, birthdays, and various events. Well done, keep it up!

26/07/2026: Please note, the management has changed, and it was a disappointment. Yesterday, July 25, 2026, around 8:45 PM, I went to this restaurant with my mother-in-law, a visiting friend, and two 9-year-old girls. I politely asked for a table for three adults and two girls. From the first moment, I had the feeling they were looking for excuses not to serve us. First, I was told there were no seats available outside. However, there were two free tables. When I pointed this out, they replied that those tables could no longer be occupied because it was getting late. I accepted the explanation and said we could sit inside. Then another excuse arrived: they told me they were short-staffed and that we would have to wait about 20 minutes before being served. I replied that it was no problem and that in the meantime, we would go get a drink next door. Instead of accepting this solution, another excuse arrived. I was told that, in reality, they didn't even know if they would be able to serve us due to the lack of staff, and shortly thereafter, we were informed that they wouldn't serve us. The strangest thing was that the restaurant wasn't at all full. There were two free tables outside, and only three or four inside. For this reason, the constant justifications seemed unbelievable. Every time I agreed to a condition or proposed a solution, a new excuse would emerge. In the end, the conclusion was simply that they wouldn't serve us. I left feeling deeply sad and disappointed. The Barchessa has a very special meaning to me, because it's where my husband proposed to me. It's truly sad to return to such an important place and feel like you're not welcome. I can't say what the real reason for this was. However, as a Black woman, I couldn't help but feel that my skin color may have influenced the way I was treated. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I left with. Unfortunately, with the change in management, the experience was completely different from what I fondly remembered.

15/05/2026: Beautiful place! Rustic atmosphere, wooden tables, and osteria-style decor. At the counter, a wide selection of cicchetti to choose from: mozzarella in carrozza, meatballs, crostini, polenta with cod, and various appetizers and cicchetti. Excellent for an aperitivo or aperitivo dinner. But on another occasion, I was there for lunch, and they offer a good menu of traditional local dishes at reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service. Highly recommended!
