OSTERIA AI DO ARCHI In Venezia

We had lunch on a quiet June 2nd. The place and food were truly exquisite. We had spaghetti with clams, truly delicious and plentiful, and the bread was delicious too. The staff were truly kind and helpful. At the end of the meal, we were even offered a truly delicious limoncello. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

The pizza was good and we received it in a reasonably reasonable amount of time (40 minutes). The price was also reasonable (but be careful about drinks and cover charge, which are listed on the menu, but which make any The Fork discount unnecessary). However, we found ourselves in a rather bizarre situation. We were the first to enter the restaurant, but over the course of the evening we saw pizzas being served to all the tables that came in after us. When our pizza arrived (let alone the fact that the fries were few and cold compared to the next table), we pointed this out (very politely). Instead of an apology, we sensed, after a smile from the waiter, a certain hostility and overheard a few not-so-nice comments... basically, they almost made us feel like we were in the wrong. The next table even apologized because they were eating their pizza before us despite coming in after us (this was before we reported the situation). In short, an apology would have sufficed; they had obviously forgotten our order for some reason (reading other reviews, this is nothing new, though).

We were there tonight. Excellent food, generous portions, and the owner and waiters were very kind and attentive to their customers' needs. The price was fair for what you get. We ordered all fish. The price-quality ratio was good.

Discovered by chance, Osteria do Orchi was a pleasant discovery! Wooden tables, soft lighting, cicchetti to share... the perfect place for a dinner for two. Authentic food, generous portions, and a staff that treats you like home. From here, I take home a little more of Venice.

Fantastic!!! I recently went with four Spanish friends who wanted to eat pizza in Venice, and I took them to Ai do Archi because of its great reviews. Giorgio's service was impeccable, the pizzas were amazing, and if we were to return, I would go back without hesitation!!!

Georgio took my reservation in person in the afternoon for a late evening dinner and when my wife and I arrived he greeted me with by my first name. He provided excellent, friendly service and professionally deboned the sea bass for my wife. This is our 4th trip to Venice and our second visit to Al Do Archi. We highly recommend it. Ask for Georgio!

Insanely good pizza and the server is funny

I must say this place has the best pizza dough in Venice. the decor isn't too impressive but their pizza dough seems special. Can't comment on their other dishes. Service was a bit of mixed bag. One guy was very nice and attentive, the other needed more training.

It is perfect to have a meal here after sightseeing in Rialto, having some Galeonetto gelato, and browsing the Acqua Alta bookstore!! My Italian roommate recommended this restaurant, and the ragu was authentic and delicious! The vongole tastes even better if you sprinkle the cheese provided on top and mix it in! You can even get a discount if you book through The Fork app, so I highly, highly recommend it~~!👍👍
