22/10/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sottomarina. The food was excellent, and the service was truly excellent (I assume from the owner), so it deserves 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere (even though it's very clean and charming) only because I like eating outside (especially in the summer), and unfortunately there's no outdoor seating. That's more than fair considering the quality of the food and wines. Congratulations!

28/11/2025: There's a nice, small dining room. The service was friendly and attentive; the food was good. The turbot on potato slices is especially recommended. The meat dishes (Wiener Schnitzel) were also good. The white wine on tap was very tasty.

19/11/2025: A little updating wouldn't be a bad thing. Otherwise, we ate quite well, except for the spaghetti with clams, which wasn't particularly flavorful. The fried food and mixed grill were also very good. The service was also good.

28/09/2025: We've never experienced anything like what happened tonight in this restaurant in our 30 years in Jesolo. We were treated like dirt by the waiter. He was very reserved towards my wife and me from the start, even though we were there for the second evening in a row. We had fish, pasta, and a salad. Okay, but really nothing special. For dessert, I asked for a tiramisu and ordered a portion, but it never arrived. We weren't even given a second glance. Finally, I politely asked for the bill, without a hint of reproach. After paying in cash, the waiter took the money, didn't give us another glance, didn't say a word, and left the table. I can't explain the situation at all, especially since, with my rudimentary Italian skills, I tried to order in Italian out of respect for my hosts. What remains is disbelief. Other reviews have already suggested that Germans aren't welcome here. Whatever. In any case, one can only warn against this restaurant. Even if it looks quite cozy at first glance. If you want to ruin your holiday evening, go right here.

27/09/2025: We ended up at this restaurant because of the rain. The decor was nice, and we were able to sit down to eat. After a while, a waiter came over, took our drinks, and placed the usual "bread basket" on the table. Since we'd been out for a long time, I took a piece (the bread was very dry on top). I noticed that there were red spots on the bread and looked in the bread basket. Apparently, this basket was already at another table, where they were apparently serving red wine (we hadn't ordered any). When I complained, the waiter simply wanted to wipe the bread with his apron. I looked at him confused and said I didn't want it that way and would like a new one. From that moment on, the waiter was extremely annoyed and brought our food and was otherwise very rude. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would certainly have left the restaurant sooner, as this behavior is completely unacceptable in my opinion. It's also possible that we were having a bad day, as there are certainly good reviews, but we wouldn't go to this restaurant again. You have to know for yourself.

28/10/2025: We had a very disappointing customer service experience here. On the evening of October 28th, we were served by a young male waiter who appeared to discriminate against tourists or foreigners. His facial expressions clearly showed annoyance, as if he was disgusted to serve us. He lacked patience and compassion throughout the service. At one point, he even refused to continue serving another table and asked a waitress to take over. He made us wait unnecessarily to place our order and to receive our bill, while casually chatting with others. On a positive note, the lady with short hair who handled our payment was very kind and pleasant — her professionalism stood out in contrast to the poor service we received earlier.

04/10/2025: Best B&B I have ever stayed at. The employees were communicative and helpful, the rooms were BIG and clean, breakfast was wonderful, and the location was great. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

01/09/2025: The prices don't match the quality and quantity. Dinner for three cost over 200 euros, and everyone left hungry. The mixed grilled fish was a scam. Everything smelled like grilling kindling. The staff barely spoke English. I'm giving it 3 stars only for the delicious canola and frozen torte.

22/06/2025: Estamos muy contentos de que decidimos venir aquí durante nuestra corta visita a Venecia. El restaurante está en una zona más tranquila, pero a unos 5-10 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. Estábamos sentados afuera junto al canal. Parecía un lugar donde los lugareños comen también. Los servidores eran amables, la comida era genial! Tenían una buena selección de mariscos y cocina veneciana.

16/11/2025: The owner was so kind! The lamb was delicious, and I was so happy that he generously gave it to me. ㅠㅠㅠ Especially, don't miss the tiramisu dessert. He was so disappointed that Korean tourists ate it too quickly and left. The owner was extremely friendly! The lamb was fantastic, and I really appreciated their generous portions. The tiramisu dessert is a must-try. The owner even mentioned being disappointed that Korean tourists often eat too fast and leave.

23/10/2025: Great place, emphasis on fish, but other choices too. We didn't book, they fitted us in, but before long they were turning people away, which is always a good sign to its popularity. We had prawn cocktail, and fried Prawns and sardines to start, very large portions for a starter. We then had sea bass, and John Dory for main course, both delicious. A vibrant atmosphere, highly recommended.

21/10/2025: A hidden spot away from the city center. Very unique and with delicious food. These are places you stumble across unintentionally, and they're worth coming back for. It's essential to book.

10/12/2025: Fantastic food, authentic experience,and fabulous service. It was a cold, dreary winter night and my family and I were looking to warm our bodies and our bellies. Trattoria Alle Lanternine did not disappoint. Great food and reasonable prices!! Don’t hesitate to visit.

09/12/2025: A down to earth, unpretentious trattoria serving traditional Venetian dishes at a reasonable priceb with a friendly staff. For a delicious meal without crazy prices you would do well here.

30/11/2025: Entering Villa Goetzen feels like stepping into another era: everything is so elegant yet welcoming. Spacious rooms and a generous, delicious breakfast! The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful.

What a disappointment and how cheap it was! 50 cents for the extra. Do you want to know what the extra was? "The oregano." Hmph! Maria/Jesolo

08/11/2025: I experienced truly incredible hospitality there today. There's usually nothing going on in the area in November. We chose the restaurant because Google said it was open. It was, but for a private event. Nevertheless, my husband and I were welcomed and enjoyed the set menu. The food was so delicious, the service so friendly, and the atmosphere so beautiful. They're doing everything right. Hats off to them! Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

07/12/2025: We returned to this place after a long time for pizza: very good, easily digestible! We weren't thrilled with the service, but that might have been because the place was busy. The prices were fair (much better than other pizzerias)!

14/10/2025: I was very surprised. We were at the restaurant in the afternoon. It wasn't busy, and the waiter was a bit distracted. We wanted two pizzas, and he mentioned something about crunchy pizza. We were surprised: OK, he meant sesame seeds on the pizza. Attached is the bill: everyone can make up their own mind about the amount of the caperto and the sesame surcharge. It's also interesting that the bill doesn't include the name of the service provider or an address. The pizza was okay, but as always, it's a matter of taste. We ate elsewhere for the rest of our vacation... PS: I knew the restaurant's reaction. What else could they say? But of course, every vacationer speaks and writes the local language. It's my own fault, what an idiot I am. But it's not an issue for me: there are pizzerias all along the street, most of them cheaper and at least no worse. As long as the place is full, it'll be fine. Chapeau, and I don't mean that in a bad way.
