07/12/2025: I went in to see a Casanova play. The hotel is very old and beautiful, with frescoes everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful.

03/12/2025: Enjoyed a fantastic stay at Ca’ Sagredo. Can’t beat the location - staff were friendly & helpful - room spacious, comfortable & lavish - breakfast absolutely set us for the day - whilst the history & grandeur of the hotel makes this a unique & memorable stay. Highly recommended!

28/11/2025: We tried the tasting menu. Everything was truly exceptional, and each dish was paired with a different, top-notch wine. The cod and fish ravioli were excellent. To finish, a tiramisu that would bring the dead back to life... The staff were attentive and professional. The view of Venice at night was superb!

09/12/2025: Wandering leisurely through Murano, we found this restaurant. A small door and a red awning. Upon entering, we were greeted by a large courtyard and a dining room filled with happy people having lunch. We were served with great cordiality and speed. We ordered local dishes, full of fresh, well-prepared, and delicious seafood. Fair price, pleasant atmosphere, very kind staff. We recommend it!

07/12/2025: The worst restaurant I've ever been to in the Venice region. The service was terrible! They promised to seat us in 5 minutes at the entrance, but we waited 20, and three groups of people were let in ahead of us, even though we were first. People arrived and ordered after us, and our kids' pizzas arrived after them. They forgot to bring our main course. It took 20 minutes for the wine to arrive. The pizza chef is some kind of celebrity, but the pizza was heated up in an electric oven.

19/11/2025: A welcoming place with traditional specialties. We tried many different dishes, some really good, but others were nothing special. An interesting place, but very expensive for the average quality of the dishes.

30/11/2025: We had a regular reservation at the restaurant but coming in they did offer the table outside if we are good paying the minimum amount for the experience. We immediately say yes. Not because we are loaded or really able to afford whatever but having that once in a lifetime experience of being in Venice and do people plus boat watching by the water while enjoying the wonderful meals curated on their menu. We get to say hi to the gondolas passing by. Take note that we are both very introverted. But something sparks in us that day. It could also be about the energy and romance vibes in Venice. Our takeaway on the experience in Ai Barbacani is that, try to be spontaneous and enjoy every second of what it can offer. Money will always come back, but time won’t. Thank you for the most amazing staff they have. This for sure unlocks a core memory that we will share to our future kids one day. And maybe come back with them if given the chance.

14/09/2025: The lady welcomes you with a smile, and her kindness and gentleness are unique. The quality/price ratio is fair, and the offerings are in line with most restaurants. Simple things...good things. Light and tasty pizza. Every time I've stopped here, I've had a great experience.

16/07/2025: Excelente restaurante ligeramente fuera de los caminos trillados. Buena comida y precios razonables dada la ubicación. Las porciones sólidas de pasta y el estaban contentos con hacer sustituciones porque mi compañero de comedor no quería mariscos. El servicio fue genial.

04/12/2025: A little disappointing compared to the reviews. The cicchetti were nothing special, slightly below average. The meatballs were decidedly greasy and heavy. We won't be back.

02/12/2025: Luca and Fred's Cicchetteria Venexiana was the first stop on our bacaro tour of Venice. It's about a 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia station, and we decided to start here before heading to the Jewish Ghetto and then Fondamenta dei Ormesini. At this bacaro, you must try the dischi volanti, which are made like paninis, but instead of bread, there are two discs of fried eggplant stuffed with cured meats and cheeses. Overall, all the cicchetti here are very good, from the classic crostini to the breaded and fried meatballs. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately, the menu has been drastically changed, meaning many excellent dishes are gone. But it's still good 👍

01/10/2025: The restaurant is located on the road from the beach. The sign says they also offer gluten-free pizza, which we were looking forward to. We planned to have lunch or dinner here. When we got there, they told us they don't do gluten-free pizza... You can imagine the disappointment and the quick search for an alternative.

24/09/2025: I've been there several times and have always had a good experience. The variety of dishes is always excellent. The service is also good, and the family-run restaurant is open during lunch hours on weekdays. Parking is a bit difficult, but there are nearby. The place isn't big, but it's quite cozy.

22/09/2025: A good trattoria! In a Mirano area where practically everything is closed on Mondays, 5 minutes from the main square in the center of Mirano, you can find this trattoria, which I found to be good. I definitely don't have cell phone reception inside, and I didn't find it to be a, shall we say, cheerful place... but for the record... good! Not a huge selection of dishes... but it's worth a try. Good wine selection. 👍👍

20/11/2025: incredible! if you need a spot for lunch while visiting Burano this is the place. we had the calabrese pizza and it was one of the best things we ate in italy. truly a perfect pizza. we also had a bottle of rosé and it was wonderful. staff was very kind as well. could not recommend it enough!
