25/06/2026: We had a table outside, right by the canal. That was very pleasant. The lasagna (*primo piatto*) was good: creamy and a generous portion. The veal escalope with lime (*secondo piatto*) was also tasty, although I had expected a bit more meat. Overall, I can recommend this restaurant. If you book via TheFork, you get an extra 20% discount on the food, but not on the drinks.

02/06/2026: As soon as we entered, they gave us a nasty look and asked if we wanted to eat (it was 7:30 PM). We hadn't even had time to sit down before they wanted to take our order. After we asked to wait a few minutes, the waiter made a couple of tasteless and completely unwelcome jokes and then left. Afterward, almost out of spite, no one else showed up to take our order.
The food was average, nothing exceptional, but okay. Throughout the dinner, the waiters looked at us like we were unwelcome.
An experience not to be repeated. I don't recommend it.
01/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience; I ate a chicken cutlet that was clearly reheated from the day before.
I asked if they had anything for gluten intolerants and they gave me a paltry package of four rice cakes and that was it. I didn't ask for homemade bread, of course, but a package like that just isn't enough.

03/05/2026: A very simple and spartan place, but the food is excellent. Fresh catch of the day and some frozen dishes are available. I recommend the appetizers and mixed grill. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, and friendly staff! We'll definitely be back.
01/05/2026: The atmosphere was unpretentious but looked intriguing, and the dishes looked good too... the problem? After sitting where indicated, we waited 15 minutes for someone to come take our order... so we went to the counter and were assured they'd be right there... another 5-minute wait, no one in sight... we got up and said goodbye!
In response to the owners: I'd say I eat wherever I want, especially where I have service... like at a restaurant not far from yours.

05/05/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this place, so attentive to detail. Each dish was delicious, a splendid asparagus risotto accompanied by a unique entrée, and to finish, a very fresh mandarin sorbet. The courtesy of the owner, Christian, and his staff pleasantly surprised me.

Super friendly waitress, very good food, both pizza and fish. We only recommend the carbonara, which arrived cold and with burnt bacon.
Excellent service, with roast potatoes and ricotta as an appetizer, and biscuits with mascarpone cream at the end of the meal.
If I ever come back to San Donà di Piave, I'll definitely be back!

13/03/2026: A very good restaurant; the prices are reasonable, especially considering the location and the view. Very friendly staff who also speak English and German.
03/03/2026: Parlo served us and we had lovely meal beside the canal with the canal view. It had a lovely romantic and homely feel to the place and all the staff were lovely. The food was very nice and good potion sizes for a reasonable price.

05/04/2026: A truly unpleasant experience. Yesterday morning I went to this bar for breakfast, but unfortunately the payment completely ruined everything.
The bill was €13, and I paid €20 in cash (I didn't have any smaller bills) plus €4 in coins, as the waitress needed them. Despite this, the waitress, with a rather arrogant attitude, began to insist that I hadn't given her the coins, questioning what I had just done.
I find this behavior extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. It's truly annoying to be treated as if you're trying to cheat, especially when you're sure you paid correctly.
It's a shame, because the breakfast itself wasn't bad, but the rudeness of the cashier staff definitely puts me off returning.
29/03/2026: We got a table without a reservation. The food was typical Venetian, with lots of sauces. The food was okay, but nothing special.

31/05/2026: This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise; we had divine seafood dishes. The staff is also very friendly, and we even got a taste of a delicious coffee liqueur! I highly recommend it, don't miss out!
03/05/2026: The fish appetizers were far below expectations, overcooked and therefore stringy, the sparkling wine in a carafe, and the bill was over €70 per person.
Only the fried food was a good deal, but even that wasn't up to par and definitely average for places where you pay €35-40 per person. The service was good.

22/04/2026: I visited about ten days ago for lunch with my wife, and I must say the location is truly stunning, with a breathtaking view of the lagoon islands. We ate very well; the price is a bit high, but the breathtaking view makes up for it. The service was very attentive and quite meticulous, and the young man with glasses was very friendly... We'll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: Bought 2 fried foods to take away by consulting the menu available on their website, terrible quality (fish not suitable for frying both in size and rather dubious quality) too large moles, scorpion fish, prawns at the limit of decency, completely tasteless squid, everything well soaked in oil... the only almost acceptable thing was the courgettes which were also too abundant and salty... probably the worst fried food I have ever tasted... online price 12 paid 15 per portion.... Absurd!!

15/01/2026: I walked past this hotel daily as I was staying with a friend in Padova. This hotel always had the nicest staff and the patrons always dressed very well. The location is great for walking around near restaurants and they will hail a taxi when you want go further. They even went out of their way to hold a lost item of mine at the desk so I could retrieve it. I know when I return, I will stay here!

We booked on behalf of Fozzat for 8 people for our family Easter.
It was a delicious lunch that delighted Grandpa, Parents, Children, and Grandchildren.
The Preo family is a guarantee, thank you for allowing us to spend a truly intimate Easter with fresh and delicious dishes.
21/03/2026: Welcoming hotel, daily room cleaning, incredibly friendly owner and staff. I ate lunch and dinner there for 20 days and never found a single dish that wasn't delicious, including the pizza. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.
