05/05/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this place, so attentive to detail. Each dish was delicious, a splendid asparagus risotto accompanied by a unique entrée, and to finish, a very fresh mandarin sorbet. The courtesy of the owner, Christian, and his staff pleasantly surprised me.

03/05/2026: Excellent welcome A bowl of water for our dog Super friendly waitress, very good food, both pizza and fish. We only recommend the carbonara, which arrived cold and with burnt bacon. Excellent service, with roast potatoes and ricotta as an appetizer, and biscuits with mascarpone cream at the end of the meal. If I ever come back to San Donà di Piave, I'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: A very simple and spartan place, but the food is excellent. Fresh catch of the day and some frozen dishes are available. I recommend the appetizers and mixed grill. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, and friendly staff! We'll definitely be back.

01/05/2026: The atmosphere was unpretentious but looked intriguing, and the dishes looked good too... the problem? After sitting where indicated, we waited 15 minutes for someone to come take our order... so we went to the counter and were assured they'd be right there... another 5-minute wait, no one in sight... we got up and said goodbye! In response to the owners: I'd say I eat wherever I want, especially where I have service... like at a restaurant not far from yours.

18/04/2026: I've been coming to La Lanterna for many years. The service is always quick and impeccable. Good pizzas, and the green pepper fillet is excellent. But times change. Last night we ordered a seafood salad with Ascoli olives, buttered spinach, and grilled salmon. Tens of minutes pass, and only the seafood and spinach salad arrives. I ask for the Ascoli olives, but still nothing. I ask again, and they finally arrive, saying they'd lost my order. Meanwhile, I'm getting tired of waiting and losing my appetite for the salmon. I ask, and they tell me they'd lost my order again, this time for the salmon, which I ask them to cancel. I ask for the bill, and what does the waitress do? She brings the bill to my girlfriend instead of me! The service is terrible and makes me lose the desire to eat out. A restaurant in a beautiful location, but it's completely ruined. I recommend trying other restaurants around there; there are plenty.

16/04/2026: I've been getting takeout pizza every week from this restaurant for a couple of years now. In my opinion, it's one of the best in the city center. I've also had the opportunity to eat at the outdoor tables, and the view of the square is beautiful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and polite. You can tell the owners care deeply about their restaurant, and this is reflected in the staff, who are always impeccable. Recommended for lunch or dinner in the center of Padua!

31/10/2025: Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner. The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that! In any case, a highly recommended place! Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

16/02/2026: I gave it full stars because the location, food, quantity, final cost, and service met my expectations. If you're looking for a place to eat—"portions," pardon the simple term, but good and plentiful—you've come to the right place. For those of us who are budget-conscious, I had a plate of cheese gnocchi, chicken cutlets and fries, bread, and a bottle of water for barely €20. I'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: The pizzas are excellent. The first course with penne all'arrabbiata was superb. I still have to try the fish dishes. Very good prices. I tried the wood-fired sea bass and the marinated anchovies side dish, and it was absolutely delicious! I also loved the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper (plentiful and wonderful for only €5) and the spaghetti carbonara. Very good prices. The "lemon delight" dessert is another gem. Excellent and honest.

03/05/2026: We went for dinner, ate a first course and two second courses. Prices were in line with the market. The portions were generous. The quality could be improved; the first course (bigoli with white ragù) was good, while the braised beef in Amarone sauce was decent. The service was a bit disorganized; they brought our dishes before the drinks, and then brought them to us incorrectly twice. The atmosphere was quiet and informal.

10/05/2026: Wandering through the streets of Chioggia, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. We were immediately greeted warmly and the service was excellent, but what compels me to write a review is that I enjoyed the food very much: fresh, well-prepared fish. I'm satisfied and highly recommend it.

05/04/2026: A truly unpleasant experience. Yesterday morning I went to this bar for breakfast, but unfortunately the payment completely ruined everything. The bill was €13, and I paid €20 in cash (I didn't have any smaller bills) plus €4 in coins, as the waitress needed them. Despite this, the waitress, with a rather arrogant attitude, began to insist that I hadn't given her the coins, questioning what I had just done. I find this behavior extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. It's truly annoying to be treated as if you're trying to cheat, especially when you're sure you paid correctly. It's a shame, because the breakfast itself wasn't bad, but the rudeness of the cashier staff definitely puts me off returning.

29/03/2026: We got a table without a reservation. The food was typical Venetian, with lots of sauces. The food was okay, but nothing special.

27/03/2026: We discovered it almost by chance, but found it good in some respects, less so in others. Its strong points are the cheese/deli/delicatessen counter with a good selection of products. Another highlight is the pasta, with good brands. The wine shop also has a wide selection, divided by region. The fishmonger's and fruit and vegetable counters are a bit less so. It also features a bar where you can relax before and after shopping, and convenient indoor and outdoor parking.

26/09/2025: A city restaurant with a beautiful outdoor space in the summer. They serve both fish and meat, as well as excellent pizza.

22/07/2025: Vincantiamo was a truly surprising discovery. The pizza is simply amazing, made with the highest-quality ingredients and a care that is evident from the first bite. The meat is also top-notch, cooked to perfection and presented in excellent cuts: a true house specialty. The place is beautiful, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every moment enjoyable. A special mention goes to the staff: kind, helpful, and very professional. The service is attentive but never intrusive.

05/01/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. We had lunch and the food was good. Service was quick. It's a shame we were at a table near the door, and I was cold because the door was constantly being opened due to the crowds.

14/04/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, with good service but not so much the food. The pasta with clams was saltless, flavorless, and overcooked, and the rigatoni with fish was mediocre. The bill was reasonable.

14/04/2026: It's confirmed as an excellent restaurant. Fresh and well-cooked ingredients, prompt and friendly service, a traditional and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are still reasonable, unlike other places. Well done.

22/12/2025: First time in Italy that I did not feel welcome. Maybe they have a perspective of foreigns. The place close at 2:30pm and we arrived at 1:40pm. Not sure it was because our skin color. Otherwise, it's very affordable.

15/01/2026: I walked past this hotel daily as I was staying with a friend in Padova. This hotel always had the nicest staff and the patrons always dressed very well. The location is great for walking around near restaurants and they will hail a taxi when you want go further. They even went out of their way to hold a lost item of mine at the desk so I could retrieve it. I know when I return, I will stay here!
