31/10/2025: Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner. The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that! In any case, a highly recommended place! Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

08/03/2026: I didn't stay there. I went there for lunch and I recommend it. However, they told me by email that I could visit the place and then they didn't let me.

07/03/2026: The ingredients are of the highest quality, with incredibly fresh and flavorful fish, and there's a clear passion for their craft. The welcome is warm and the service is impeccable. The food arrives in a reasonable amount of time, a sign of home-cooked, express cuisine. We had two first courses and a mixed grill, which captured the aromas of the Adriatic. Everything was excellent! The prices are more than fair, and the location is lovely. Well done! We thank you again and reiterate our appreciation, recommending this lovely restaurant to other travelers.

08/03/2026: Not recommended for dog owners. Although dogs are allowed inside, you are not allowed to give your dog water during your visit—a restriction that feels odd and unwelcoming. Furthermore, the owner was rude and unpleasant, making the experience even more unpleasant. If dogs are truly not welcome, it would be much more honest to adopt a clear policy prohibiting them. The food has also deteriorated significantly since the change in management—both in terms of quality and portions—compared to what it was in the past. In conclusion, I do not recommend this place. ——————- Not recommended for dog owners. While dogs are permitted inside, you are not allowed to give water to your own dog while dining there—which feels like an odd and uncomfortable restriction. On top of that, the owner was quite rude and unpleasant, making the experience even more unwelcoming. If dogs aren't genuinely welcome, a straightforward no-pets policy would be far more honest. The food has also noticeably declined since the change in ownership — both in quality and portion size — compared to what it used to be. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

22/02/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, and I have to say the quality is good—in fact, yesterday I had an exceptional risotto. The only dish not worth eating is the raw antipasto: the quality and quantity don't match the price. What a shame!

14/03/2026: We were looking for a place to eat at a good price. We found a warm welcome, good, authentic, and carefully prepared food, and the option of a fixed-price lunch on Saturdays, so we could enjoy a first course, second course, and side dish. The homemade desserts aren't included in the set menu, but they're definitely worth trying!

22/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've ALWAYS had a good experience and have always told my friends it was a great experience. Unfortunately, yesterday wasn't the case: it was all because of the waiter who served us, who was unprofessional in his manners. For example, he walked past me with his arm around me to serve and I almost wiped my mouth on his black shirt. The wait was biblical. We arrived at 12:30 and finished at 2:45 (we had an appetizer, first course, and coffee). He served me pumpkin pie and I almost found it in my lap. He was spiteful and disrespectful. I told the owners and they apologized: out of respect for you, I recommend you "get rid of him," he's damaging your business. We were there on Sunday the 21st at table 5, so you know who I'm talking about. Best regards.

09/10/2025: We went there for a late-night drink with my brother, who was staying at a hotel around the corner. We were surprised to find the place almost full, so we just managed to get the last table. A waitress came immediately, and a short while later, we had our drinks. Friendly staff and good drinks. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: The service was okay, the order was processed quickly, and the pizzas were decent, but nothing special. We were there on a rainy day, and the terrace, with its side panels pulled down, had the feel of a cold train station concourse. Furthermore, people were smoking at every third occupied table, and the staff, despite being asked about it, tolerated it! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to non-smokers.

25/09/2025: We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.

20/09/2025: Food without seasoning, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar was not offered. The size of the dishes could have easily been served as an appetizer. Three waiters milled around, but no one asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. It was very expensive by far, and we expected better.

01/01/2026: We didn't get the welcome aperitif as I was told, I'm talking about New Year's Eve dinner, from one course to the next, it took over 45 minutes, too many people, the music was so loud that the tables on the dance floor were constantly vibrating, intense smoke was blowing out, the air was unbreathable to be able to dance, there were 8 of us, 6 slices of panettone and we paid for coffee and water, very disappointed

06/09/2025: We went to this restaurant last night. The place is lovely, right on the beach, and the staff was very kind. It's a shame we didn't have a good meal: the pizza was burnt, the tiramisu and the pistachio dessert weren't good at all. What a shame.

09/12/2025: We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Everything was perfect! Your French-speaking waiter gave us a wonderful welcome. The service was excellent, as was the food, and the atmosphere was everything you could wish for your loved one's birthday. Thanks again for everything, and maybe see you next year, who knows!

05/01/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. We had lunch and the food was good. Service was quick. It's a shame we were at a table near the door, and I was cold because the door was constantly being opened due to the crowds.

03/03/2026: Went for an all-you-can-eat mussels night! Delicious mussels and a phenomenal stew! The waitresses were smart and friendly, and the price was excellent!

26/02/2026: We celebrated a friend's birthday at "Due Fogher" and personally, I really enjoyed the pizza. It wasn't overly thin, it was evenly cooked, the ingredients were adequate, the breadsticks were plentiful, and the staff was courteous, attentive, and friendly. To top off the celebration, they even offered us sparkling wine, in addition to limoncello. A complete thumbs up for me!
