We happened upon this restaurant during our two nights in Follonica… it's been under new management for just two months… the chef/owner was immediately very kind and friendly, and recommended the catch of the day… the food was excellent, the octopus appetizer was delicious, the snapper and sea bass were exceptional, and the desserts were superb… highly recommended!!!

Change of management. They still need to get organized because the service hasn't been like it used to be. We recommend giving the place your own personal touch. The dishes and ingredients aren't like they used to be.

New management, from Bruno to Giovanni, but the quality remains unchanged. A few dishes, very fresh fish, fair prices. Two courses, wine, biscotti, and an entrée are free for just over €40.

They were very gracious hosts, super friendly, and had amazing service. Great atmosphere. Our pasta was cooked perfectly with great flavor. Would definitely recommend going to XBar!

I happened upon it by chance for dinner with my partner and my 10-year-old son. The staff were kind and welcoming, the dishes were well-prepared, with attention to seasonal ingredients and excellent fried food.

From the moment you enter, you're greeted with a rare kindness; the attentive staff makes you feel right at home.
The dishes are carefully prepared and taste exceptionally good. An honorable mention definitely goes to the appetizer: the fried cod with creamed potatoes and zucchini is a perfect balance of flavors and textures, a must-try!
The portions are just right, filling without being overwhelming, and the final bill was a pleasant surprise.
The prices are fair and well-balanced for the quality offered.
