13/05/2025: Nous cherchions un restaurant différent de ceux très bien notés des guides et des sites, et nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant sans prétention. Un jeune serveur aux petits soins, des plats variés et copieux, de la place et des prix parmi les moins chers de tous les restaurants où nous avons mangé. La déco est dans son jus mais l'impression finale a été pour nous au top.

12/05/2025: Il personale è gentilissimo, celere e professionale. Gli ingredienti e le pietanze sono genuine. Purtroppo, lo chef fa troppo uso di olio. La mia pasta è risultata troppo pesante per questo motivo.

19/06/2025: Really really tasty here. The fresh pasta was incredible. We had truffle tagliatelle with red prawns - it was definitely the highlight. The mixed fried seafood was very fresh and flavourful.

15/06/2025: We came here for a quick bite to eat at lunch. We received very friendly and courteous service. The food (salad and pasta) was good. The music was a bit annoying.

The owner welcomes every guest with warmth and genuine passion, making you feel immediately at home. The dining room staff is attentive, courteous and always available, ready to expertly recommend the dishes of the day or the perfect wine to pair. The menu is a journey through Mediterranean flavors, with very fresh dishes and attention to detail. And then the view... a true marvel! Looking out over Isola Bella at sunset, with a good glass of wine in hand, is an experience that is not easily forgotten. Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: The view is spectacular, and the food is delicious, but it's not cheap at all. The meat was delicious, cooked to perfection, although a bit small for the price. The desserts were delicious; I recommend the pistachio semifreddo. The seafood pasta was amazing, as was the fried seafood, cooked to perfection and not greasy.

30/05/2025: We deliberately chose a fish restaurant that advertised regional specialties and, unfortunately, wasn't by the sea. The location, right next to the express train, wasn't particularly inviting! My husband ordered the house wine, two appetizers, and the fish from the daily special. The wine glasses were still on the table when the carafe of house wine was placed in front of us. Guests serve themselves here! Then the fries arrived on a plate with a paper napkin, waiting for the fish. Grilled fish, flaky, lukewarm, and old, so that after two bites, we were served by a bland, musty taste. The chef himself confirmed to us that the fish is exactly how it's eaten here, and after all, it is a specialty restaurant! We just wanted to leave and waited for the bill. And we were quite surprised that the chef hadn't charged us for the fish after all! We were literally served!!

26/09/2024: We went to this restaurant with a tour group for pizza making. It is a tiny restaurant with a very friendly and service-oriented team. In all honesty, the pizza making class was pretty uninspired. More like watching one of the pizza cooks make a pizza. There was one opportunity to add your own ingredients to a pizza, but that is not exactly a pizza class. So, the class experience was pretty much a 2 out of 5. So, consider this instead a review of the pizza and restaurant itself. On that measure it was a solid to high 4 out of 5 stars. The quality of the pizza was excellent – crust, sauces, toppings. Service was good, although they seemed to lose interest as time went on, which drops to the 4 stars.

14/05/2025: Non avevamo mai potuto immaginare che in questo piccolo borgo di Taormina per esattezza a Piazza Duomo ci fosse situato questo piccolo ristorante. Decido di salire per vedere se fosse ancora aperto, la fortuna è stata dalla nostra parte.All’ingresso ci accoglie Luca cameriere molto cordiale e simpatico che ci mette subito a nostro agio mostrandoci il menù con tutte le sue prelibatezze e spigandoci tutti i piatti in modo molto semplice e dettagliato.Decidiamo di prendere un antipasto la famosa parmigiana di melanzane, e una caponata alla siciliana in agrodolce qualcosa di veramente speciale.Passiamo ai primi piatti di cui ci vengono consigliati dallo Chef Renato un duetto di tagliatelle all’erbette aromatiche e gnocchi di patate al nero di seppia che dire non ci sono parole per descrivere quanto sia stato fantastico conoscervi e vi ringrazio per la magnifica cena con la quale mi sono veramente assaporato Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Ci rivedremo presto

12/04/2025: Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Sizilianische Küche, top Lage auf einer Terrasse vor dem Dom, ABER: teuer, zu viel verrechnet: Preise auf der Rechnung höher als in der karte, Wasserflasche zu viel auf der Rechnung, in der Karte sind die Getränke nicht beschrieben. Achtung: 0,75ltr Wasser kostet eur 5,-; ein Glas Hauswein rot oder weiß wird mit eur 10,- verrechnet. Vorspeisenteller mit lokalen Fisch: Lachs geräuchert und lachstatare war ebenfalls mit dabei. Lokal?

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

06/05/2025: Pizzeria all'aperto nel centro di Taormina. Possibilità di scegliere tra molte varianti di pizza, dalle classiche alle gourmet guarnite con prodotti di qualità e buoni. Si viene subito accolti da un aperitivo di benvenuto e, in alcune sere, da gruppi di musica tradizionale. Personale disponibile e gentile.

15/06/2025: On the seafront of Letojanni there are dozens of restaurants that offer the same menu at the same price. We chose this one for the position of the tables on the beach. The atmosphere is nice and the guys who serve at the tables are helpful and kind. The food is in line with the offers of the other restaurants, fresh fish, classic proposals, good. There were 3 of us, but when we finished eating, some of our friends joined us. I kindly asked to pay our bill, before our friends ordered their dinner but, for incomprehensible reasons, it was not possible. After our friends also finished dinner, I went to pay the bill. I tried several times, politely, to explain that my bill was not on the receipt, and I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. Even though I tried to explain to the cashier, who I believe was also the owner, that my bill was not included in the receipt, she continued to attack me. A truly surreal experience. If I were a less honest person I would have left without paying because a person of such arrogance does not deserve the slightest consideration. Considering that in the area the restaurants are all similar, I strongly advise avoiding a place like this where you are treated in this way.

24/05/2025: Nice beach restaurant. If you like, you can eat right on the beach. Prices are very reasonable.

22/06/2025: Well-kept place. Tasting offered by the house. Average food quality: good but I wasn't thrilled. Too expensive: - 1 appetizer - 1 first course - 1 second course - 1 bottle of water - 2 soft drinks - 1 dessert Total 112 euros It seems excessive to me since I didn't order wine. Location near the departure terminal but not on the promenade so nothing special. Women's bathroom closed and consequently the men's bathroom used by both men and women.

06/06/2025: Avevo chiesto in giro un buon posto per mangiare bene. E mi hanno consigliato il Doppio Gusto. Effettivamente il consiglio è stato azzeccato. Buono l'ambiente, fine e curato. Ottimo ol servizio. Ma principalmente buono il cibo. Purtroppo le cose buone si pagano....e quindi...non è per tutti.

03/06/2025: La Capinera was the most disappointing Michelin restaurant we have been to. We had the tasting menu and the food was good but not Michelin standards. Servers were nice however the staff overcharged us TWICE. This has never happened to us before. They initially charged us for two drinks when we only ordered one drink. That was a quick fix. When we went home we saw another charge on our credit card and an email from the restaurant stating that we were charged for not showing up to our reservation. When we arrived for our 730pm reservation we were the first people seated and we clearly pointed to my husband’s name on the reservation list. We had to call the restaurant in the morning and luckily someone (i believe it was Pietro) did answer and instead of apologizing right away he blamed us for not telling them my husbands name that was on the reservation. I dont recommend this place. There are many other great restaurants in the city with better location and service.

12/06/2025: Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The fish involtini are impeccable - the pizza 🍕 is very, very good. A pleasant outdoor spot!

08/06/2025: Perfect Italian food!! My girlfriend is gluten intolerant. It wasn't a problem here at all. The gluten-free pasta was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it if you want to eat authentic Sicilian cuisine.
