26/10/2023: The food was delicious and the service excellent. Beware the specials. No prices given and 35 Euros for a pasta, instead of 20 ish for others. Naughty. Also don't expect to see the view from your table. The tables are too low.

16/08/2024: Posto molto carino e rilassante ,personale cordiale veloce,gentile e professionale ,ma attenzione : qualitā e bontà dei cibi sicuramente merita un Nove peccato che tutto questo bel contesto svanisce in porzioni misere di primo e secondo di pesce . Vengono usate dei piatti /ciotole profonde peccato che sembrano degli assaggi sia come primo che secondo ,da rimanere digiuno davvero,un mezzo calice /bicchiere normalissimo da vino 7 euro un primo 22 euro . Non dico che al ristorante ci si deve abbuffare ,ma per poter gustare i piatti ,occorrono delle porzioni ragionevoli ,nella norma ,non siamo mica in guerra con le porzioni ridotte a un quarto della norma ! Non lo consiglierei assolutamente . Prezzo esagerato ,senta antipasto senza birre ,senza desser , 65 euro a testa ,assurdo !

15/08/2024: Ristorante accogliente, ma all'arrivo abbiamo dovuto attendere un po'. Il menù, seppur ben presentato, offre una scelta limitata di piatti a base di pesce, il che è deludente considerando la location. I piatti sono esteticamente curati, ma il sapore è piuttosto piatto. Consiglierei allo chef di osare di più.

31/07/2024: Let's say it's a family-run restaurant, the food is delicious, cooked in a wood oven, even the bread was served to us while it was still warm. The owner, a very nice elderly gentleman, serves the food with a trolley, similar to the hospital one, but the nicest thing, barefoot. It's like being in a movie brilliant comedy!

27/08/2024: Location bellissima e molto curata. Cibo pazzesco, abbiamo preso tris di tartare, ravioli di mozzarella e gran piatto di astice (veramente buono). Cortesia del personale super piacevole e sempre sorridente. Prezzi un po’ elevanti ma in linea con la qualità e con la vita di Panarea. Consigliatissimo.

25/08/2024: Indubbiamente locale molto curato per alcuni versi sembra di stare più in Costiera Amalfitana che a Panarea. Tavola molto bella ma la terrazza è poco arieggiata. Si sopperisce con degli spruzzi nebulizzatori che alleviano il caldo e l’umidità. Servizio veloce ed attento. Piatti ben presentati ma i primi sono un po’ troppo pieni di creme spesso non si distinguono i sapori e gli gnocchi, ad esempio, si incollavano troppo al palato. Dentice troppo cotto ed asciutto e lo stesso per la caponata che lo accompagnava. Frittura ben fatta. Sui dolci mi soffermo solo sul cannolo che, ripeto, era presentato benissimo ma sul sapore non ci siamo, ovviamente parere personale. Sul costo non dico nulla si è pur sempre a Panarea ad Agosto e con evidente sforzo ed attenzione per il cliente.

14/08/2024: I highly recommend this place, we stumbled upon it but I have to say we did well! I ate one of the best Sicilian caponatas and for the more tenacious and spicy lovers I warmly recommend the spaghetti from Etna, an amazing dish! Congratulations the octopus was also delicious! Highly recommended

20/07/2024: Frozen and convenience food at completely overpriced prices! From a "Sicilian restaurant" (including the photos on the menu and the prices) we expected good Italian cuisine with freshly cooked food of good quality. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed and the restaurant is just a tourist rip-off. We quickly regretted visiting the restaurant because the whole family had stomach problems the next day. Never again! Unfortunately 0 stars are not possible!

09/08/2024: Dopo 10 anni di esperienze positive e nonostante il cibo buono, quest’anno i prezzi risultano spropositati, 40€ solo degustazioni antipasti, il bagno fatiscente, e un prezzo totale di 541€ che come mai prima d’ora non è stato arrotondato dovendo pagare così 26 cent a testa per la prima volta nella mia vita..Delusione totale dopo essere stati storicamente trattati diversamente.Consigliamo alla cassa una persona con più attitudine alla fidelizzazione.26 cent…per favore..

04/08/2024: This is the worst bar in Italy I have ever eaten at. I ordered lasagne and carbonara, and I must say that it was impossible to eat it. In the evening, there were a lot of mosquitoes and the smell of exhaust fumes from passing scooters. Failure. I do not recommend. Stuffy, disgusting bar.

23/08/2024: Trattoria in an alley overlooking an archaeological site, a suggestive place in the center of Taormina, also secluded from the main promenade. They welcomed us quickly and kindly. The menu is varied and full of typical Sicilian dishes: however, as non-Sicilians, the dinner was not satisfactory. The caponata appetizer was tasty, but not the best I've had in Sicily. The first course, pasta with sardines, was well prepared and probably the best course. For the second course, beccafico sardines, not boned, poor in flavor and quantity. At the end of the evening, a bill that reflects neither quantity nor quality, but only the price list of a place in the center of Taormina. I wouldn't recommend it.

15/08/2024: This is the worst restaurant I've ever had in Italy! Tourists beware: the food is frozen, the tomato sauce is canned and the bill is huge. The place is pretty but that's it. I expressed my dissatisfaction and no one came to see me! A shame

27/08/2024: I was here for a week on vacation. My girlfriend and i came here multiple times. We both can only recommend this restaurant. The pizza is great, the server makes you feel like home. He speaks english well, is very helpful, and really nice. The ambiente is also nice, you can dine under a palm tree and grape vines. I can only recommend the experience here. 10/10

24/08/2024: We booked a table over the phone specifically requesting a seat in the restaurant section, not the pizzeria. Upon arrival, we were given a menu that had a mix of everything, making us question why they even asked for our preference during the booking process. The seating arrangement was even worse. We were placed under a vine canopy from which debris kept falling onto the table. The area next to our table was a mess, with overgrown plants that were clearly not maintained. The whole atmosphere felt neglected and uncomfortable. The service was equally disappointing. There was a clear lack of communication among the staff, and several items listed on their already limited menu were unavailable. This level of disorganization and carelessness was unacceptable. We were so uncomfortable and disheartened by the experience that we decided to leave without ordering any food. This place not only ruined our evening but also left us feeling completely unsatisfied. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

28/08/2024: Place set in a wonderful and panoramic context. Unfortunately we waited 110 minutes for the pizzas, even though we had arrived much earlier than other tables. We were told that the order for a portion of french fries, which was to be shared between four people, blocked the order for our pizzas. After many years of excellent results this time the service left something to be desired. As regards the quality of the pizzas, in addition to the menu having changed with the lack of the pistachio line, there was too much mozzarella as well as ingredients such as lemon peels, which were too strong and made the pizza unappetizing. The management of this business will probably have changed, but overall I would recommend it. Sometimes something can also go wrong, I hope my review is still appreciated and useful for future customers.
