04/08/2024: Very nice and relaxing place, easy parking in white lines, housewares shop next door, and stations with beautiful storage units. The fish costs a fortune, for a beach, even if it's very good. Bathroom door that doesn't close, but possibility to enter snacks
21/07/2024: very long waiting times, we ate at 2.30pm and sat down at around 1.15pm. Umbrellas all attached, little privacy, and there is plenty of space. Hot tub unusable, dirty and useless at this point. Really painful.

Bellissima atmosfera e ottimi piatti.
Dalla pizza al risotto al nero di seppia cucinato davvero ottimamente e primi di pesce. Servizio ben eseguito, proprietario gentile nonostante le serate stressanti e affollate di Agosto.

05/08/2024: We booked for four at this place outside the center of Capo d'Orlando on a Monday at the end of July. The restaurant has a part of the indoor veranda and a very spartan open part. When we arrived there were only three tables and despite the three waiters we waited for everything. We ordered pizza in 2 and in 2 restaurants: two pizzas, two appetizers, one homemade and mussel soup, a first course and a mixed grill. The starters arrived together with the first course (it's not clear what the waiter was thinking when ordering) and we were forced to eat everything backwards so as not to wait any longer than we had to. The pizzas have an excellent dough and are thin. For the rest, the effort is appreciated but definitely not up to par, all stuck to an eighties style banquet cuisine concept! I can't comment on the freshness of the fish... Everything was clearly frozen except the mussels.
The overrated house starter! Even fried foods without flavor. A disappointment for us! Next time, takeaway pizza only! MAYBE😬

Target del ristorante medio alto ma prezzo in linea con il menu e la location. Consigliato se si cerca un posto raffinato e tipico sull’isola.

The negative thing concerns only and exclusively the owner... cold forgiveness, little kindness, the staff works with professionalism but the owner treats them worse than slaves with her authoritative and undignified ways, stressing them and keeping them tense even in front of the clients. Nervousness also demonstrated in the room. For my part, only due to the lack of humility and professionalism on the part of the owner, I will not go there again.

17/07/2024: The Hotel Signum on Salina is a true gem. The breathtaking location offers spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding nature. The service is first class, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are stylishly furnished and invite you to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent restaurant, which delights with culinary delicacies. A perfect place to relax and enjoy. Highly Recommended!

Cucina eccellente, ricercata, sofisticata con esaltazione degli ingredienti locali senza perdersi in gourmettismi fastidiosi. Quantità delle portate assolutamente adeguata.
Servizio impeccabile, gentile e preparato.
A volte una leggera attesa per il refill del vino.
Menu degustazioni e alla catta variegato, ottimo. Ridurrei lo spiegone sui sovrapprezzi.
A prescindere dalla stella credo sia rimasto l’unico posto a salina dove trovare eccellenza, conduzione familiare ed esaltazione dei sapori locali.

30/08/2024: Eine ruhige Oase in Salina. Herzlicher Empfang und außergewöhnlich und künstlerische Gestaltung des Hauses. Es gibt unglaublich viele schöne Details. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause und möchte nicht mehr fort. Mein Zimmer war mit Balkon und wunderbarer Aussicht.
Die Küche ist eine geschmackliche Entdeckungsreise. Einfach wunderbar. Man müsste noch so viele Tage bleiben, damit man alles entdecken könnte. Auf die Weinempfehlung des Patron kann man sich verlassen. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Giulia für die herzliche Begrüßung, ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft.

Il ristorante uno dei migliori se non il migliore di Salina . Soggiorno stupendo! Super!

09/07/2024: My husband and I went to Otto during our honeymoon in Taormina. To give you insight our reservation was at 8:00pm when we first arrived we waited over 40 minutes for our drinks- which were a Negroni and a gin martini. They accidentally brought a gin & tonic instead of a gin martini however brought it back to the kitchen to bring us the correct drink. the martini didn’t come until 8:55pm which was also when we were first served the bread course. The waiters are very nice at this restaurant and explained the bar was busy however it is truly unacceptable to wait this long just for drinks especially considering this is a Michelin star restaurant. We didn’t receive our first course until 9:15 pm which at that point we were very hungry. The wait staff were very nice however the service could have been better for a Michelin star restaurant. The food was great and fresh however there were significant gaps of time in between courses. Given its Michelin star I was expecting a certain caliber of service and that was just not met. Perhaps there should be more communication between kitchen /bar and wait staff to help prevent the delays in service.
20/06/2024: Occasionally in life you have the good fortune of experiencing something amazing- our dinning experience at Otto Geleng at Hotel Timeo was one of these experiences - simply stunning!
My wife and I decided to have drinks in the cocktail bar prior this is the start of the jaw dropping views - beautifully manicured gardens are at the forefront whilst Mount Etna provides a magnificent backdrop. After enjoying a few magical drinks we were guided to the dinning area of Otto Geleng. We were there to celebrate my birthday and seriously the view that greeted us was the best present. The joy of the evening kept on giving - the staff, the food, wine and of course the view will be something that will be remembered for years to come.
Thank you to all at Hotel Timeo and if by chance you are ever in Taormina do yourself a favour and get along to Otto Geleng to experience a truly magical dinning experience.
