19/09/2025: Hotel overlooking the sea... we stayed in this splendid hotel on September 25th and the feeling, from the room, was that of being on a cruise ship with a 180-degree view of the waves. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean. The breakfasts and meals at the partner restaurant "Nino sul Mare," located a few steps from the hotel, were also excellent. The pizzeria with a terrace directly below the hotel makes delicious pizzas; you absolutely must try the pizza with figs, prosciutto crudo, and spicy pistils... a delight! A special thanks to Giorgia, who, with her professionalism and kindness, made our stay even more pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!

03/05/2026: Everything was perfect. Those who give the place a negative review because of the high price should go to McDonald's for lunch. Beautiful location, clean, fast, friendly staff, and above all, excellent food. From Catanzaro, that's all.

26/04/2026: At first it seems like a nice place with good food and friendly staff, but in reality it's not like that at all... we waited at least 1 hour/1 hour and then 1 of the 4 dishes we had ordered arrived, and it was almost cold. After 10 minutes, 2 more arrived almost cold too. By the time the fourth dish arrived we had all already finished eating, at least this one arrived hot 🙄. When we asked the staff how long it would be until our dishes were ready, they always told us they were arriving, or that they were ready so we stayed quiet but in reality nothing arrived. I must also mention the quality of the dishes, almost raw pasta for 2 of the 4 dishes, then the pasta with shrimp looked nothing like that magnificent photo on Google, they put 4 pieces of tiny 🦐 and then they put 7 pieces of shrimp heads (which obviously are not edible) to trick you into thinking there were a lot of them but instead you eat 99.99% (raw) pasta. At least the view from the terrace was beautiful. Total: €100 for a very disappointed experience. So my advice: find another place to eat. 25/09/2025: A true gem in the lower part of the village, just a few meters from the sea and the pebble beach. The food is a delight for the taste buds; you'll never want to leave the table. All the freshest local fish is served with kindness by the owner Aldo's sons, who are also extremely hospitable and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. The wine list is varied, featuring Sicilian products to suit all budgets. If you're near the village, stop here for an experience you won't soon forget.

13/09/2025: On the recommendation of a local, we opted for this restaurant... a beautiful, simply furnished room that adds warmth to the atmosphere, and a small outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful service... Tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes, shrimp, and eggplant (very delicate), a good seafood appetizer, and a grilled dish (delicious sea bass), shrimp, swordfish roll, and grilled vegetables... We were very satisfied!

24/09/2025: We organized a wonderful party for about 60 people at Manuja in September 2025 under the new management of Giorgia and her husband. Aside from their kindness and helpfulness, the food was delicious, we had a great time, the place was magical, and the buffet was so good! We had both vegetarians and celiacs, and they were able to accommodate every request. Thank you so much for organizing our pre-wedding!

24/08/2025: Our expectations were a bit disappointing, with pizzas that were unfortunately not good. I can only hope it was just a moment and that everything becomes 5 stars 😜

07/05/2026: I haven't been there in a long time, the place is still the same, with its retro charm, but it's a shame because I remembered the pizza being better, next time I'll try the fish, that used to be very good too!

02/05/2026: Visited his restaurant on the Sunday before Easter. We all had a wonderful time. Food was great but even better was the welcome and the generosity of our hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed the mains and a lovely tiramisu as well as the home made marmalade.

01/01/2026: I went with my family to celebrate my birthday. I'd been there years ago when it was a pizzeria under the old management. We were satisfied; the food was very good. Excellent service, nice and welcoming place.

25/10/2025: A decent mussel soup and a sadly overcooked seafood risotto can happen, but poor service can't be ignored. • Point one: the waitress's obnoxious insistence on telling us what she was saying, pretending not to understand our requests. • Point two: the wine-by-the-glass scam, with a terrible, sour white wine that we had changed and which she then immediately passed on to the table behind us. The response was, quote: "If you ask me for wine by the glass, this is quality!" An unspeakable response, especially since any restaurant offers a choice of at least two whites and two reds. • Point three: the mockery about the mussels, quote: "They're small these days, but frankly, they're the ones I like best," and a few minutes later, at the same table behind us, quote: "Mussels are small these days, but I don't eat them anyway, neither large nor small." Frankly, we've never encountered such a bizarre place. And then when the owner, perhaps unaware, said goodbye to us by saying "See you next time," and we replied, "Frankly, next time won't be here," she remained speechless, not even trying to understand what had happened, not just to try to improve herself, but not even out of politeness. Speechless.

23/09/2025: We were lying on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of the food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was very generous for €15. I've never had better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Cover charge was €1.50. The cozze are fantastic. Good service with a sea view. The Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

17/09/2025: A good place for a simple meal, decent food. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy a sea view, but overall it was still satisfactory and the flavors were fairly classic.

10/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The place is very elegant and pleasant. We were served by very kind and helpful waiters, always ready to recommend the right food. We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with pesto and shrimp, all accompanied by a fruity white wine that made the dinner incredibly tasty. We finished with a panna cotta and an apple tart. Nothing to add, everything was perfect. The sound of the waves in the background created a magical atmosphere. If you love good food, this is a must-try, highly recommended!

07/04/2026: The staff was very kind and incredibly friendly. We ordered pasta, pizza, and a schnitzel. The schnitzel was the most delicious of all, even though it was missing some vegetables. The coffee was exquisite. We had a great time, thank you.

20/02/2026: Three of us had dinner, and we had some good hamburgers. It fell a bit short of my expectations; I expected a bit more quality. For example, the bacon was cold, and the hamburger wasn't hot enough, not even cooked thoroughly. The service was impeccable. I was a bit disappointed by the price of a glass of wine; €7 for an Etna red seems a bit excessive.
