The cuisine is top-notch, the selection of ingredients is meticulous, and the dishes are generous (a unique feature for the island).
The wine is excellent and served with great care.
The service is truly efficient, the place is quiet, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
The quality/quantity/price ratio is very good considering the island's standards.
The next day I met the owner, Mr. Nino, on the shoreline waiting for the local fishermen to land, ready to grab the best catch!
Calling it a "trattoria" is an understatement!
Rating: 10!
Highly recommended!!!

Leuk te hebben kennis gemaakt met Amza .
Zeker een aanrader om hier een hapje te eten of een drankje te doen.
04/08/2025: Siamo stati a cena 4 adulti e 2 bambini. Siamo stati benissimo, non avevamo prenotato ma nonostante ciò ci hanno trovato un tavolo e ci hanno servito subito. Gli spaghetti alla pescatora e gli involtini di pesce spada alla griglia erano buonissimi, li hanno mangiati anche i miei bambini di 5 e 7 anni. Attenzione alla pepata di cozze, se non gradite il peperoncino, ditelo!!Lo consiglio ci tornerò!!

20/07/2025: What can I say? A beautiful location, kind and friendly staff, especially the maître d', who is very professional and helpful. He listens to you and then advises you based on your preferences. I must say we've always had a great time, thanks in part to the beautiful, relaxing and discreet atmosphere.
14/07/2025: Excellent restaurant! The manager was very kind and knowledgeable with his recommendations! Each dish was better than the last, especially the starters!

27/05/2025: This is a place a little out of the center being at the end of the Lungomare, however it is worth a visit. We had dinner with a masterfully executed fish-based menu. Absolutely worth a visit

07/08/2025: We had a very good meal. We found the "Gorgonzola Gnocchi," atypical for southern Italy, here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the pasta with seafood was also very tasty. We can't say that the waiters were unfriendly. Everyone was friendly, and they even swatted the wasps away from under our noses with an electric tennis racket. All good. Thank you.

Food was fine, service needs improvement.
Seated quickly, menus issued, drinks prompt. Food arrived and literally chucked on the table. Fish was fine but wasn’t filleted as per the menu and so was returned to the kitchen to be done. No Parmesan offered with the pasta - had to be asked for. First bottle of wine returned as it was corked. Water was good though.

18/07/2025: Beh la location…sulla spiaggia nera di Vulcano. Staff informale ma attento e cortese. Pizza buonissima. Consiglio la Sicilia Bedda, quel pesto di agrumi….buona e fresca. E la Salina, più decisa ma rispettosa dei sapori delle Eolie. Al tramonto poi….

03/08/2025: We had a really good meal last night: the freshest scorpion fish and the accompanying pasta were spectacular. We'll be back tonight for a tasting of their famous desserts. Thank you, Marisa and Giacomo, we'll miss you!

13/06/2025: We had booked for outside at 20:30. When we arrived the restaurant was heaving and our table was unavailable.
We were offered a glass of prosecco and waited. We were offered a table inside which we grabbed.
This place is really busy.
Gianne Luca is a true performer. He entertained and informed us about the specials and the menu.
The food was prompt and delicious.
An excellent meal and we would go again in a heartbeat.

21/06/2025: To say excellent is to say the least!!! Too bad you can't give more than 5 stars.
I would start with the people and the owners...excellent service, fast and friendly. I had a medium-rare cut of meat, truly exceptional, as they say "it melted in your mouth". The pizza and fish were also exceptional, which I had the pleasure of tasting on several occasions. Would I recommend it to you? With my eyes closed.
19/06/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't feel so comfortable at dinner. The terrace is super nice, but the service was a bit chaotic, and the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. It wasn't a big deal, but the bacon was soft, not crispy as advertised; the steak had many inedible pieces on it, and the pasta was very al dente. Dessert was supposed to be ice cream for the kids, but the employee unfortunately made no effort to explain what was in the flavor, which we couldn't imagine (our Italian is good enough to understand it in Italian – if someone explained it...).
Unfortunately, we wouldn't come back.

11/08/2025: My wife and I were curious about this little restaurant on the stairs, and on our last night in Taormina we decided to try it out. We were really amazed at how safe the setup felt when we got seated. It had looked precarious, but it was fine. The food turned out to be some of the best we had throughout the city. My wife got a salmon lasagna of sorts, which sounded like a risky move. But she loved it, and the waiter was amazingly kind.
06/08/2025: It's a very cute and quaint place.
The seafood appetizer was delicious, and the fish was fresh and very well cooked.
The wine and service were also excellent.
The staff was pleasant and friendly.
