07/07/2026: Aesthetically, it's a truly beautiful trattoria; you can see the history behind each establishment. The menu is small, which isn't a bad thing—just the right amount, but everything is truly delicious, especially the fish. I always recommend asking for the catch of the day to avoid frozen products. I ordered the octopus, and it was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, although I didn't think the portion size was adequate for the price (€18). The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

I spent a wonderful evening in this beautiful and welcoming restaurant, where, in addition to tasting exquisite, delicious, and anything but ordinary dishes, I savored an atmosphere of serenity, peace, and love. Highly recommended for any occasion, especially since the selection of natural wines on the menu is superb.

The saury, a true local specialty, is also excellent, prepared to perfection. The sea bass is incredibly fresh and cooked with great care. To top it off, the traditional Messina gelato and foamy ice creams are simply delicious and the perfect way to end a meal. All this is accompanied by impeccable service: kindness, warmth, and friendliness make every customer feel welcome. A place that showcases authentic local flavors with quality ingredients. A well-deserved five stars!

05/04/2026: Carletto in Sant'Angela di Militello was a truly pleasant experience. Everything was excellent, from the welcome to the service, and, of course, the food. Among the dishes, the swordfish rolls stand out, a true house specialty: tender, flavorful, and grilled. A delicacy truly worth trying.

11/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago because it's right down the street, and since it's a trattoria, the food is usually good. My partner and I chose the outdoor area, which wasn't very well-maintained and had mosquitoes. The food was bland, the wine wasn't great, the raw fish was flavorless, and the soup was way too much for one person, and it's obviously expensive. It was a disappointment, especially since the sign on the street shows photos of the dishes that bear no resemblance to the real thing.

05/07/2026: This is, without exaggeration, the worst place in Taormina. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We arrived around 8:30 PM, and there was only one other table occupied. You'd think that with such a busy environment, the service would be excellent. But it was quite the opposite. The service was terrible from the very beginning. They didn't help us choose our dishes or even properly answer basic questions about the ingredients in the salad. When we said we wanted to think a little more before ordering, the employee demonstratively grimaced, turned around, and left. After that, practically no one came to us. They only remembered us when the dishes arrived. Now about the food. We ordered the Fish Grill Set, and it was a complete disappointment. Almost all the seafood was overcooked and bitter. There was sand in the shrimp. The fish was inedible – dry and burnt. The only decent thing was the potatoes. Thank goodness for them, at least. And the final touch—they completely forgot to bring our salad. The very salad we'd asked about several times. They simply forgot about it. We haven't experienced such poor service and such substandard food in a long time. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Taormina has countless wonderful restaurants—don't waste your time or money here.

29/07/2026: The quality of the food and service was excellent. Among the dishes on the menu, I would recommend the prawns and spaghetti with bottarga and ricotta mousse, truly exceptional. The atmosphere was truly unique. Of the restaurants where we dined during our stay in Panarea, I would consider this place the best for its atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended!!!!!

21/06/2026: We came as a couple for dinner, and it was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful with a great atmosphere, and the food is simply outstanding. We ordered a slightly spicy pepperoni pizza, and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Bravo! We also had a pizza with sausage and gorgonzola, which was also absolutely delicious. The salad was rather ordinary and lacked character. It was served without dressing, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, highly recommended.
