14/08/2024: Ci sono tornato dopo un anno esatto e ho rivissuto la stessa atmosfera leggera e spensierata che offre questo ristorante. Buon cibo accompagnato anche da una piacevole musica. Servizio eccellente

12/08/2024: Esperienza straordinaria. Era la nostra prima volta in questo locale e le nostre aspettative non sono state disattese. Tutto buonissimo, dall'antipasto al dolce. Anche il personale è stato squisito e piacevole. In particolare, Lorenzo, un giovane maestrino di sala, professionale e simpatico. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

11/08/2024: I ordered bruschetta and pasta there. Pasta Alio olio. I found it very, very tasty. In addition, the prices were not overpriced, even though it is a tourist hotspot. The service was very quick and friendly. I also received my food very quickly. It wasn't very busy and you could sit outside with a sea view. Would go there again.

10/08/2024: I ate a slice of tuna with onion sauce that was absolutely magnificent! One of the best of my life... And the next day I came back and ate a courgette and shrimp pasta that was just as good! I recommend it ;)

08/08/2024: Excellent pizza, a little sparing with the tomato. We asked for a tomato bruschetta as a starter and I ended up with two slices with tomato and lots of onion! Unfortunately I can't stand onion so I would have expected them to offer me at least a new bruschetta without onion. So I only ate the pizza, which luckily was very good.

30/08/2024: The food, wine and service were all phenomenal in this restaurant tucked away in a quiet and romantic courtyard. Sisters Sarah and Jaqueline are a power house running this restaurant. We knew it was going to be a great night and that we were in good hands by the way Sarah greeted us. The hospitality is over the top, as if all customers are family. Sarah was passionate in how she described the specials. Bringing a tray of the freshly caught fish was a treat. The chefs are skilled at preparing the fish you choose in a number of different ways. My husband enjoys fine wine and Sarah had wonderful expertise in knowing which Sicilian wines would best accompany what we ordered. A personal favorite was the pasta with Rock Lobster and Sea Bass with vegetables. As an American I personally appreciated that they did not drag out our dinner for hours and hours. The two young men who quietly shuttled dishes from the kitchen and discreetly cleared tables were a delight. We will be back.

26/08/2024: Very high prices, know this before you go. Having said this premise, a totally different level. If you want to make an investment, do it. The fantastic raw fish as well as the seafood salad that you will hardly find so fresh and with real flavours.

30/08/2024: We are from Modica and we are here for the Amii Stewart concert in this restaurant - pizzeria for the second time. It's all good.

30/08/2024: We dropped in on the off-chance and were shown to a lovely window seat. The staff were very friendly and made us feel special on our last holiday meal. The food was excellent and in fact turned into the best meal of the holiday. Highly recommended.

26/07/2024: Rarely do I come home with the desire to write a review, well this is the right time. If you are wandering in the scorching summer heat and find yourself in Lingua, your refuge is Il Delfino. In the shade of the "pinnata", refreshed by the sea breeze you will be welcomed by the elegance of Gisella and the professionalism of Giovanni. Photos are superfluous because the dishes have a unique presentation like the taste that distinguishes them, a flavor of family and affection prepared with local, quality products. A peaceful corner where you can taste one of the many wines produced on the island, a complete cellar where you can choose between Whites with a strong flavor or Reds that enhance the aromas and scents of the Territory. For many it will be a simple review, for me it is a thank you, because stopping at the Delfino even for an aperitif is already a great opportunity. Cheers beautiful people and happy holidays.

23/08/2024: The place is very nice. We took the appetizer which was good but we didn't like the first courses: the risotto looked like rice with tomato and seafood not mixed together and very tasty, the spaghetti with mussels very tasty and full of broth, ditto the spaghetti with lobster. I don't think we will go back again...

26/08/2024: Waited for over an hour and a half to get food when it wasn’t even very busy for a table of 10. Starters came at the same time as mains. The grilled fish, except one, was dry, with no sauce served. The pasta with aubergine was delicious. The waiters were nice and the view was also good.

31/08/2024: The Lido is very well located. Come early in the morning (before 10 a.m.) or otherwise book because the deckchairs leave very quickly and the number is very limited. The price is a little high (30€ per person). Has showers and you can order drinks, the waiters come to the beach. Regarding the restaurant, don't hesitate to ask to be upstairs, the view is really great. The pizzas were a little overcooked and salty but the value for money was very good. I recommend this beach rather than Isola Bella, which is far too dense with tourists at this time.

29/08/2024: The view of the bay from the water is certainly very beautiful and the food is delicious. 30€ per person But the loungers are just super expensive. And you can also be unlucky and end up in really unattractively narrow places. The loungers are also very narrow, which is due to the small bay. There is not much space to swim out and some disgusting things end up in the water from the boats.

23/08/2024: I won't comment on the food because we left the place before ordering (but in recent years I remember it without praise or infamy). The central point is the service. Disorganized staff and unwilling to make customers loyal. We arrived with two medium-sized dogs, asking if there was room outside to cause as little discomfort as possible. We were told that everything was booked but to wait a moment and they would ask the girl who takes care of the external part. After a while we asked another girl but were told that they had to ask the lady who first told us to wait. Having been seated inside, as soon as we sat down, the one who we assumed was the manager, told us if we could have the dogs crouch so as not to disturb...dogs who were sitting next to us on the inside side of the table. At that point we decided to leave and explained the reasons. Unclear excuses were made as in the responses to other negative reviews. So the customer doesn't come back and this place, where I wasn't born but I still grew up for decades, doesn't receive what it deserves. I understand that mass tourism is not of interest (which is why I come back every year) but the professionalism should be there regardless.

20/08/2024: Tutto impeccabile. Servizio perfetto, velocità, attenzione per il cliente. Cibo ottimo , delizioso al palato. Eccezionale la ventresca di tonno. Prezzi consoni . Cannolo iconico della casa con marmellata di mandarino da provare assolutamente.

19/08/2024: Servizio veloce, poco empatico ma sostanzialmente cortese, menu abbastanza interessante, cucina di buon grado con rivisitazioni della tradizione, cantina adeguata e con buone condizioni di servizio, acqua alla spina non a temperatura, almeno nell’esperienza vissuta. Ampissima sala esterna, seppur coperta, con tanti tavoli abbastanza ravvicinati, praticamente chiusa sui quattro lati e dunque da evitare nelle serate particolarmente calde. Conto proporzionalmente ben elevato.

27/08/2024: Finally a real fish restaurant We ordered 1 bar and mussels which were excellent and very well served on a terrace overlooking the sea even though it was dark it was very pleasant Impeccable service and very warm welcome from the boss who speaks French To recommend

24/08/2024: Owner who is grumpy and rude to say the least, service I would say needs to be improved a lot. Spaghetti with sea urchins and spaghetti with clams were delicious, excellent, mixed fried fish really poor and not up to the standard of the restaurant, good location.

20/08/2024: We managed to find a place the same evening, calling shortly before so it was excellent. Very good food and fresh fish. The swordfish rolls are highly recommended. Excellent value for money. A bit of a long wait for the bill but in their defense there was a large table present.
