07/04/2026: We did a beautiful hike from Taormina up to the top of the hill, which was definitely the highlight of our visit. The views were absolutely breathtaking — we could see Etna, the sea, and the Teatro Greco. It was truly stunning. In the evening after the dinner we went all the way down by walk, very easy, comfortable and illuminated. The restaurant also offers a very nice view, but I would recommend going when the weather is warm and the windows are open to fully enjoy it. The service was very kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The food was good —around four-star, but we had slightly higher expectations when it came to the cuisine.

08/04/2026: A restaurant beautifully situated on Isola Bella. We went there in the evening without a reservation and managed to get a table. The menu was varied, but the prices were above average. Despite having a starter, main course, and dessert, we unfortunately left feeling a bit hungry. That would have been fine, as the food tasted great, but for the price, one naturally expects something different. The service was adequate. The single waiter tried his best to manage everything on his own while remaining friendly.

The setting, a terrace overlooking Isola Bella, is welcoming and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

17/04/2026: Had an excellent experience at Garden da Nino. The seafood (fish, shrimp, clams, and pasta with clams) was fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding—very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended! The view in the afternoon was absolutely stunning and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

12/04/2026: At the recommendation of a friend, we visited this restaurant from Piazza Armerina. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extreme professionalism and warmth by the owner and the entire staff, who were helpful and attentive. 😊 ​Trusting their advice, we enjoyed some very fresh fish appetizers and a truly exquisite seafood first course, excellent in both quality and quantity. We rounded off the meal with excellent wine, both sweet and bitter, feeling pleasantly pampered throughout the meal. 😊 ​A perfect combination of courtesy and fine cuisine. 31/03/2026: I hadn't been there in a couple of years and found the place even more beautiful and well-kept, and the food superb! The owners have even managed to improve on the previous offerings, which were already top-notch. The presentation of the dishes, the service, and the kind and welcoming staff all contribute to the perfect success of a lunch with friends, who were also literally amazed by the excellent quality/price ratio, once the bill arrived. The place is airy, and even with a large crowd, it was possible to hold a conversation at the table, almost undisturbed by background noise. This is another feature worth mentioning!

28/10/2025: We were on a sailing holiday and arrived in Salina marina for the night. We chose this restaurant because it was small but busy. We now know why it was busy even for off season. The food was fabulous. The yellowtail was especially good. Although a limited selection the wine was local and good. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: A fantastic experience for simple, classic with a twist Aeolian cuisine! We had a wonderful dinner while in Salina and would highly recommend the restaurant. Chef Fillipo is a genius when it comes to taking the most humble of local ingredients and turning them into absolute delicacies. Starting with the broad bean soup with herbed ricotta and anchovies a classic Sicilian soup taken to the next level with fresh herbed ricotta and salty anchovies. We both wanted meat for so we chose the black pork sausages and the house made beef spiedini both absolutely delicious and so simple and we both had the purslane salad, foraged from the local mountains and just delicious. The salted mandarin sorbet with Lemon jam was a perfect finish. We loved everything and would highly recommended you visit.

02/04/2026: The quality of the food was disappointing. We were 7 people, the appetizer was good but the main course was all forgettable. One of the fish was raw. Tasteless pasta. I do not recommend.

09/04/2026: The most beautiful view in all of Taormina, impeccable service and exceptional food. We met the Italian Chef and he was really good. All the staff made us feel very welcome. The prices were right for the location, service and quality of food.

From the moment you step inside, you feel at home, almost like you're visiting good friends – a sentiment perfectly reflected in the restaurant's name. The food was fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The pasta and Mediterranean dishes, in particular, impressed with their intense flavors and high-quality ingredients. The service was attentive, friendly, and very personal without being intrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a relaxed, Italian setting.

21/04/2026: It was recommended to us by friends, and honestly, it was worth it. In a nondescript neighborhood with almost no parking, there's this small, cozy place. We had a good fish lunch; it didn't disappoint.

16/04/2026: Simply sublime!!! The food is excellent, the fish is very fresh, the staff is kind and helpful, the bathrooms are spotless and... The icing on the cake, in the bathroom I found diapers for the children, sanitary towels and hand cream!!!! Unbeatable!!!! The owners are super kind, the background music is appropriate for the place and relaxing, the place is refined!

10/04/2026: Great dining experience! We ordered bruschetta, calamari, seabass and pasta. Great environment in the garden and the food were all so flavourful. It’s really cozy and relaxing to be here having dinner. If you are looking for great food and chill homey vibes this is the place!

04/04/2026: Menu outside didn’t have to do anything with the one inside, prices were much higher and less choices than the one outside, food was good but it took us by surprise when we saw the check
