17/04/2026: Had an excellent experience at Garden da Nino. The seafood (fish, shrimp, clams, and pasta with clams) was fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding—very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended! The view in the afternoon was absolutely stunning and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

12/04/2026: At the recommendation of a friend, we visited this restaurant from Piazza Armerina. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extreme professionalism and warmth by the owner and the entire staff, who were helpful and attentive. 😊 ​Trusting their advice, we enjoyed some very fresh fish appetizers and a truly exquisite seafood first course, excellent in both quality and quantity. We rounded off the meal with excellent wine, both sweet and bitter, feeling pleasantly pampered throughout the meal. 😊 ​A perfect combination of courtesy and fine cuisine. 29/04/2026: It's an amazing restaurant which is almost on the top of the mountain. There is a wonderful panorama. Tasty dishes. It is very close to the village Castle. From the castle, which was also a seminary, there is both an impressive and an extremely high panorama. The restaurant is highly recommended.

21/04/2026: It was recommended to us by friends, and honestly, it was worth it. In a nondescript neighborhood with almost no parking, there's this small, cozy place. We had a good fish lunch; it didn't disappoint.

16/04/2026: Simply sublime!!! The food is excellent, the fish is very fresh, the staff is kind and helpful, the bathrooms are spotless and... The icing on the cake, in the bathroom I found diapers for the children, sanitary towels and hand cream!!!! Unbeatable!!!! The owners are super kind, the background music is appropriate for the place and relaxing, the place is refined!

After traveling the world, trying hundreds of seafood restaurants, and experiencing everything, this evening something I never imagined happened: for the first time in my life, I ate raw fish. And I did it here, because the quality, freshness, care, and above all, the trust you convey are rare. Every dish speaks of passion, research, and absolute respect for the product. Clean flavors, perfect balance, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the first minute. It wasn't just a dinner, but an experience I'll truly remember. There are restaurants where you eat well... and then there are places like this, which manage to make you experience something new even after years of travel and experiences. 29/04/2026: Based on the reviews published on Google, I expected "something more." The dishes were good, but not exceptional. The octopus and potato appetizer was great! I complained about the pasta, which was hard and overly salted. The repaired dish was okay. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes… The restaurant was stuffy, and it took us a while to get used to it. It's been a learning experience for me that Google reviews don't always reflect what you expect or what you get.

02/05/2026: After several days in Taormina, we ate at four restaurants, and this was by far the best I've had, along with Mama Rosa's restaurant. We had a fantastic evening! The pistachio and guanciale pasta was exceptional! Don't bother going to Don Nino's tavern a little further down; it's not quite as good as here at La Grotta Azzura. Thank you so much to the whole team at La Grotta Azzura!!

02/05/2026: The waiter was super friendly, the food was exceptional, and they've changed the restaurant's decor, which is much more elegant! Don't bother queuing for another restaurant further away, because this one is better :)

11/05/2026: It was so delicious that I visited twice during my stay. First of all, the restaurant is located in the heart of the bustling city center, and the experience of eating on a staircase is unique. Appetizers: Sicilian salad, vegetable soup, and tomato soup were all very rich! Pizza: Capricciosa, prosciutto pizza Pasta: Bolognese, carbonara, lobster pasta I was able to request that all the pasta be made with spaghetti! The flavors are something that any Japanese person would find delicious, and the firmness of the noodles was just right. The carbonara was especially amazing!! The desserts and the service from the staff were also excellent, and they even set off fireworks for Mother's Day! 😹❤️

06/05/2026: Their clam chowder was incredibly delicious; the bread dipped in the broth was absolutely amazing. This soup is divine. The clam pasta was also very good, not too salty. The portions are all very generous. The steak was just okay; half of what I got was tendon, and I couldn't cut it. The service was excellent and very friendly.
