23/02/2025: We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

27/01/2025: I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone

03/11/2024: Se siete a Salina e amate il pesce, questo locale è una tappa imperdibile. Qui troverete piatti di mare freschissimi e di altissima qualità, preparati con maestria e rispetto per il gusto autentico del Mediterraneo. Il tutto è arricchito dall’accoglienza calorosa e dallo spirito vivace del proprietario, che rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale con la sua simpatia contagiosa. Un luogo che unisce sapori eccellenti e un’atmosfera indimenticabile.

21/10/2024: Amazing dinner! Beautiful setting with our table on the side of the Main Street of Santa Marina di Salina. Great antipasto and incredible involtini of sword fish. Dessert is to die for!!!

13/01/2025: Terrazza riparata con una vista bellissima. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale con un ottimo antipasto antipasto e due prim davvero strepitosi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

22/10/2024: Fuori stagione estiva in una ventosa serata ottombrina. Fermi al porto abbia optato per la trattoria per certi versi storica. Ci saremmo aspettati un caldo menù strettamente terroriale ma purtroppo l'abbiamo trovato francamente non adeguato. L'offerta della cantina un po sovrapprezzo, ottimi i dolci, scarsi e cari i secondi (ma più in generale l'intero menù). A Salina l'offerta "giù " scarseggia specie in questo periodo forse vale la pena sportarsi con un taxi per "salire"a Malfa dove ci sono realtà più interessanti e meno "ingessate". Ottimo comunque il servizio e la cortesia dei camerieri che cmq non "spiegano" i piatti

10/03/2025: We are a couple from Spadafora who came to dine for our anniversary...what can I say we found everything a customer expects, quality in the food, enjoyed in particular the truly unique and sublime tartares but everything else was really special and cooked in. Impeccable smell..super qualified and courteous staff and last but not least the owner, a true courteous and helpful host..our experience was truly unique..we will definitely return soon

25/02/2025: Restaurant in a central position in front of the port of Milazzo. Beautiful and elegant location, with attention to the smallest details. The service is quality, attentive and customer-oriented. High quality food, abandoned and satisfying dishes. The menu is rich, for all tastes and requests, and is mainly based on fish. Prices tend to be high, but fair for the quality offered.

25/10/2024: We were here to eat, had a long waiting time despite it not being very busy, others came after us and got their food earlier... it's a shame... the food was okay

05/01/2025: Nos alojamos en la exquisita ciudad de Taormina, y deambulamos por allí. El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.

12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

Federico, il titolare, ci ha raccontato con passione le origini di questa avventura, fatta di determinazione, amore per il territorio e un pizzico di fortuna che ha reso tutto possibile. Il fratello Stefano, con grande maestria, ha preparato una cena indimenticabile sotto i nostri occhi, utilizzando materie prime eccellenti e trasformandole in piatti che celebrano l’essenza delle Eolie. 23/02/2025: Good pizza. It is unacceptable that the boy who seasoned all the pizzas WITH BARE HANDS goes around the whole restaurant (he brought the pizzas to the table himself) touching anything and wiping his hands on his own trousers. The criticism was not well received.

16/02/2025: Excellent fish, very honest prices, nice place!

19/03/2025: I really enjoyed the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, fast and friendly service. Even the drinking water was served nice and cold. I will definitely come back to try other first courses.

11/03/2025: He could do more but he doesn't commit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you deserve 👍🏼I'll start from the food which is the thing that struck me the most, in fact it was all good, plentiful and tasty. Good fried calamari, crunchy at the right point. 👍🏼abundant and tasty pasta, well-mixed ingredients and perfect cooking. 🤏🏻the only sore point is the very slow service

22/02/2025: Terrible experience, service that was non-existent to say the least, they ruined the dinner with my family, with many errors, delays and above all ignoring us to dedicate themselves to other tables. I don't recommend it in the slightest, the price is expensive both for the quality and for the service received. Inadequate staff.

21/02/2025: Davvero una brutta esperienza. Il pesce di buona qualita' ma un servizio davvero scadente. Per tutta la sera siamo station ignorati nonostante avessimo ordinato il menu degustazione. Tra una portata e l'altra tantissimo tempo, e mancava sempre qualcosa. In piu a chiusura, anziche proporci i Caffe ed i limoncelli (inclusi nel menu che avevamo scelto) TUTTI i camerieri hanno pensato solo a sparecchiare e dare retta alla grande tavolata accanto, ignorando le nostre richieste. Sconsiglio di andare in un posto del genere, dove non sanno nemmeno cosa sia la professionalita'…

11/12/2024: Otto Geleng realmente merece su estrella Michelin! El servicio fue impecable. La comida era deliciosa, sabrosa, muy bien presentada. Excelente tamaño de porción para una degustación del chef, y el momento perfecto del plato. Maridaje de vinos igualmente fantástico. Recomiendo encarecidamente la experiencia y me encantaría hacerlo de nuevo si volvemos a Taormina.

28/11/2024: Elegante, bonito, ideal para cenar en pareja. Nos hospedamos en el hotel y hemos optado por cenar aquí por su situación. Las vistas son idílicas, el servicio muy bueno y el menu muy correcto.

07/12/2024: Loved our time here - went a few times in August! Lovely lunches and a great beach. Actually one of the best pizzas I had in Taormina!

21/11/2024: Hot and muggy day. Umbrella in the front row. Exceptional sea. Excellent service. Bruschetta on the beach with Messina beer. Ohhhhh yes!
