04/11/2025: Absolutely avoid this place, it's a tourist trap!!! What a rip-off at the end of our trip to Sicily! We were with friends and ordered four Spritz cocktails with a large plate of grilled fish as an appetizer! We had this dish several times during our week in Sicily (we usually budgeted 15 to 20 Euros each time). What a nasty surprise to find that this dish for four cost 80 Euros!! What a disgrace!! After this bad experience, we checked the reviews, which are all too common.

04/11/2025: A beautiful Sicilian trattoria with insanely delicious seafood and a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The owner is very helpful, serving, greeting, and bidding farewell to guests himself.

We were welcomed wonderfully yesterday and returned this evening for another relaxing evening of good food. Great background music. Excellent service. The best seafood couscous I've ever eaten! 11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

10/11/2025: Friendly staff, friendly owner, excellent food, and everything is fresh. It has a sea view. I was there a few years ago. I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

28/09/2025: Family run and sweet staff… definitely an unhurried vibe which we didn’t mind! The pasta with baked ricotta was soooo yummy as were the grilled vegetables. Tasted like going to a friend’s family house for dinner!

13/08/2025: The location doesn't match the actual location of the restaurant. When we called to ask for directions, the lady told us they'd moved, assuming we (tourists) should know by some well-informed science. "I thought you knew!" How is anyone's guess? We ordered mussel soup and two mixed grills with a side salad: the mussel soup was really good, while the grills were absolutely not worth the price; the salad was a tiny plate and cost €5. We then ordered two sorbets, served in little plastic cups and also costing €5 each. We paid practically the price of a full menu despite not ordering pasta and only having one appetizer, for two people it came to €92.

06/08/2025: Siamo stati i primi clienti nella nuova location, nella Valle dei Templi, e si percepiva chiaramente che il locale non fosse ancora pronto per l’apertura: mancavano i menù cartacei e c’erano ancora tecnici al lavoro. Ci vengono proposte a voce tre opzioni di menù: uno di carne e due di pesce, rispettivamente a 30 e 45 euro. Chiediamo informazioni sul menù di pesce da 30 euro e ci viene spiegato che comprende un primo, un secondo, un contorno e un sorbetto. Tuttavia, il primo piatto previsto non conteneva pesce, e per avere un vero primo di pesce abbiamo dovuto aggiungere 4 euro per persona. Nel complesso, il menù ci è sembrato pensato più per turisti, sia per qualità che per quantità.

19/07/2025: Un bel ristorante, camerieri veloci e cordiali. Mangiato bene, sia la carne che il pesce. Antipasto di pesce buonissimo, secondo di tonno buono ma purtroppo troppo salato. Ma capita, ci torneremo

01/11/2025: I had a truly wonderful meal at this osteria! The dishes were tasty, prepared with quality ingredients and with attention to detail. The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and quick in their service, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a relaxed lunch. 27/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want to enjoy authentic cuisine, like grandma's, Osteria Lo Bianco on Via Belgio is the place to be! Simple dishes steeped in tradition—both from Palermo and Rome—prepared with quality ingredients and truly generous portions. With an average cost of around €20 per person, you can eat more than well, and they even cater to those on a diet. The pizza is excellent, too! Maître d' Angelo, "il Baffo Messico" (the Mexican Mustache), and his colleague Francesco, "il massimo" (the best), welcome and advise with discretion, understated friendliness, and professionalism, making every visit a pleasure. A place where you can eat deliciously and feel right at home. Highly recommended! The average price, including house wine served at your chosen temperature, is €20 per person. Excellent value.

15/11/2025: On the other side of the world, traveling through Sicily, we had lunch in a heavenly place! Fresh ingredients, excellently prepared... we were very satisfied, a place we'll definitely return to!

13/11/2025: I've never had such delicious grilled tuna with pistachios! The risotto was also delicious. The view is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.

The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and tidy; it's not overly detailed, but it's not minimalist either: it conveys a sense of authenticity and familiarity that immediately puts you at ease. The restaurant stands out for the quality of its ingredients, with well-executed, tasty, and well-balanced seafood first courses. The second courses are also excellent, especially the shellfish, carefully cooked and elegantly presented. The service was punctual, friendly, and always available, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The pizza is also worth a mention: light, well-cooked, and made with good-quality ingredients: an added bonus for those seeking an alternative to seafood without sacrificing flavor. The prices are reasonable and perfectly in line with the quality and level of service offered. I highly recommend booking, as the restaurant is very popular, especially on weekends. Kudos to the owners for their management and their evident commitment to maintaining the overall high quality of the experience. A place worth trying and, probably, revisiting.

24/10/2025: The staff is friendly, very attentive, and always ready to serve. This is my third time here, and they never mess up a single dish. The excellent hermit crab appetizer makes you want to cancel your first or second order. Well done.

07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

13/11/2025: We had Pasta alla Norma with Pasta Fresca and Ricotta Salata on top – absolutely delicious!! We were there two years ago and the quality is still just as high-end/meraviglioso!! It made our visit to Ragusa truly unforgettable – highly recommended!!

17/09/2025: The menu was very limited, with few dishes to choose from; the marinara risotto also required advance reservations. The seafood spaghetti consisted only of mussels and clams. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday, when we asked for spaghetti with clams, we were told they only had a few and it was better to choose the marinara spaghetti I mentioned above. The mixed fried fish was all fish; they didn't have scampi, calamari, or even shrimp or prawns. The prices for the few dishes available were also quite high; spaghetti with (a few) clams was €22!! Maybe we were unlucky, but we're unlikely to return.
