26/04/2026: Small restaurant on the square facing the Norman castle. We had the appetizer tastings, which were quite good. The first courses were also good. Prices were reasonable!

15/07/2026: It's one of those experiences you have to have at least once in your life... And what about the salt flats out front, which at sunset turn orange and then pink, and the sun slowly disappearing behind Favignana!

15/07/2026: An absolute disgrace: appalling service, aggressiveness, and outrageous value for money. We had booked a table to admire the sunset over the salt marshes with our family. While the experience started rather well with a reservation honored and a table ready, the rest was a complete fiasco. The service was catastrophic, disorganized, and oppressive. The waiters almost cleared away our appetizers before we had even finished eating them! Furthermore, the timing of the drinks was absurd: our two glasses of wine arrived while we were finishing our main courses. To top it all off, these glasses of "Calice Bianco" wine were served blindly at the table, without being shown the bottle or its origin. As for the food, the dishes were utterly unremarkable. The salad arrived without dressing, and despite our repeated requests, we never received it. The worst part came when it came time to pay the bill (€186 for 5 people). When I politely expressed my dissatisfaction with the poor service, the head waiter—already unpleasant during the meal—became aggressive. He actually shoved my wife. When she pointed out his actions and told him the least he could do was apologize, his response was ludicrous and utterly disrespectful: "You should pay first!" We were treated like dirt. To top it all off, the promise of a beautiful setting is a lie: the sunset view is constantly ruined by the continuous stream of tourists crowding right in front of the tables. Paying such a price for such aggressive service, such amateurishness, and such mediocre quality is unacceptable. Honestly, avoid this place; this establishment is only interested in taking your money at the expense of basic respect.

07/06/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Unfortunately, I can't give a lower rating. This place is highly NOT RECOMMENDED. Dinner for 4 adults, 3 of whom had fish caponata as an appetizer (which was definitely not the freshest). In fact, all three of us felt sick during the night. The owner was rude and annoyed. Of the 3 coffees, one was an undrinkable macchiato. All of this was not very cheap. A "PAINFUL" EXPERIENCE, one to FORGET.

25/05/2026: A wonderfully situated restaurant on the first floor with a magnificent view. The food was very good – but the owner seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests.

12/07/2026: I didn't take a picture of the pizzas because I thought I'd already reviewed the place. We always come here, both for the restaurant and the pizzeria. You always leave the table feeling very satisfied. The dishes are exquisite, generous, and the prices are below average in Pozzallo. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The pizzas are also below average in Pozzallo, but the quality is excellent, both in terms of the dough, which is a treat with every bite, and the toppings. Truly excellent. The staff is also top-notch!!!

15/06/2026: How fortunate were we that La Piscina was just a short walk from our Albergo! My husband is a seafood lover and said he had the best Spaghetti con Vongole of his life. That's a huge compliment from a native New Yorker now residing in Tampa. I, on the other hand am a vegetarian, and in addition to the vegetarian fare on their menu, the chef would prepare off menu vegetarian plates to accommodate me. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend

21/12/2025: The waitress sat me down and stared at me while we read the menu. I ordered a peppered mussel dish and a quarter of red wine. The mussels (15 count, two of which were inedible and one closed) arrived after 15 minutes, and the wine was too cold and sour. I paid €17, including a €2 blanket (€2 to wash a plate and a fork?). I WON'T RETURN!!! Not even worth a star. Only the bread was delicious.

24/09/2025: We organized a wonderful party for about 60 people at Manuja in September 2025 under the new management of Giorgia and her husband. Aside from their kindness and helpfulness, the food was delicious, we had a great time, the place was magical, and the buffet was so good! We had both vegetarians and celiacs, and they were able to accommodate every request. Thank you so much for organizing our pre-wedding!

24/08/2025: Our expectations were a bit disappointing, with pizzas that were unfortunately not good. I can only hope it was just a moment and that everything becomes 5 stars 😜

20/04/2026: Overall, the experience wasn't bad, even though I asked twice for the bread, and the appetizer was already on the table. The food was pretty good, though. The crux of the matter came at the end when I paid with theforkpay, and the cashier was really upset that I had the extra discount. She made me feel "in the wrong," as if it were my fault or something they agreed to, repeating the total amount out loud and not even saying hello! Absurd.

18/05/2026: Very fresh fish with a selection of raw fish, a very refined atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back. A great discovery.
