Special, excellent dishes are further enhanced by the explanation and passion of the owner, Mr. Basilio, and the wonderful cuisine of his brother, chef, Mr. Tindaro.
I loved the couscous, while my husband loved their special fried fish!!
What can I say... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We'll definitely see you next year, and in the meantime... keep up the good work!!

16/09/2025: Very nice little restaurant, the raw fish was really good. I recommend it.
The owner, who works in the dining room with his mother, is super kind, so much so that they gave us some figs from their farm to take home, which were delicious.
If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely stop by. They're really good people who are willing to work hard to make the customer happy.

08/11/2025: The fish was NOT fresh and very poorly cooked. The octopus was served on a bed of raw potatoes and no seasoning whatsoever. It's my fault for not checking the reviews before going. I also paid in cash and they said they didn't have change... so I gave it to them. They didn't even have the decency to offer me a coffee or a liqueur. I'm sad that in Sicily, in a seaside place, you can eat so badly and rip off customers like this.
03/11/2025: An excellent restaurant near the harbor. The grilled calamari was excellent and the Sicilian white wine (Grillo) tasted superb.

03/08/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una bella serata in questa trattoria. Proprietari molto simpatici che si sono intrattenuti con noi al tavolo. Buoni sia i primi che i secondi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerò se mi trovo a Palermo sicuramente.

08/11/2025: The place right next to the hotel is a disaster, a horror. The room lighting is a disaster, dim, and very poor. They play live music at an unbearable volume. The staff who served me were fantastic. Its proximity to the historic center is the only good thing. Room 205 is extremely far away; it's very, very difficult to get to.
30/10/2025: Spent a week here. The service from the staff was fantastic, food was excellent and drinks excellent. In a very good location, close to many restaurants, capo market and ballaro market. Staff organised transport for us to travel to another local town also.

We were treated wonderfully, with a dedicated menu. I took the liberty of suggesting adding these dishes to the menu because they're truly worth it. (We had booked ahead of time, and they created a special menu for us.) The mother of the guys who run the business is brilliant; she even prepared a delicious artichoke. The appetizers were a mix of Trapani specialties. As for dessert, the marzipan fruit was delicious. The service was impeccable; they filled our glasses and were always attentive.
The pumpkin soup was creamy and flavorful!
Highly recommended for vegans, too!

28/05/2025: Siamo stati guidati dal prezioso Paolo per questa buonissima cena di stasera. La caponata deliziosa è imperdibile, un gusto unico con prodotti locali freschi e ricchi di sapore.
Che dire delle tagliatelle all'ancora, pesce fresco condito con pomodorino.
Ci torneremo presto.
22/05/2025: Bella scoperta vicino al resort domina Zagarella, per alternare ai ristoranti dell’hotel.
Ottimo tartare di tonno, in particolare ma tutto buono.

08/09/2025: We went to the pizzeria because we wanted a pizza. We were told they didn't have any pizzas. The spaghetti carbonara and the fish were very tasty and deserved a good review because we enjoyed them. However, we went to a pizzeria to eat pizza. The staff was friendly, but preferred to chat with other customers rather than serve us.
The salad consisted of a few leaves and a few slices of tomato, with no balsamic vinegar, no oil, and no sauce.
I recommend calling ahead to check if they have pizzas.

02/10/2025: Sea food is so fresh! The best pasta I’ve ever had in Europe! All members of this restaurant are so lovely. Definitely recommend and we’ll come back every time when we are in Sicily.

09/11/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, but I think it'll become our regular spot in Fiume Freddo! Excellent food: from the mixed seafood platter, to the pasta with red mullet, to the mixed grill. Romantic and special atmosphere. Best waiter? Wings!!!!
