12/06/2025: Dinner, nine of us, during a vacation. We start with a series of good and abundant seafood appetizers after which we are all full. Only three of us decide to try the spaghetti with clams: two portions for three. Then sorbet or dessert for eight. Then to the cashier. Surprise: bill 360.00 euros. "What 360 euros?" we ask. "Yes" replies the one who seems to be the boss, "you took the set menu that costs 40.00 euros per person." " Excuse me, we ate appetizers for eight, only two first courses and the sorbet." "Yes but since you started with the tastings we understood that you were choosing that menu..." In short, there was no way to make it clear that in a restaurant you should pay for what you eat and not what the manager thinks you would like to eat. Our fault, first of all, because we should have called the finance police and asked for an inspection, but is it possible that now, wherever you go, you have to think about how to defend yourself because there is always someone trying to screw you?

11/06/2025: Good restaurant and pizzeria. You can try both meat and fish at honest prices. Possibility of outdoor seating in the garden. Courteous and helpful service. If you pass by those parts it is worth the stop

28/05/2025: Siamo stati guidati dal prezioso Paolo per questa buonissima cena di stasera. La caponata deliziosa è imperdibile, un gusto unico con prodotti locali freschi e ricchi di sapore. Che dire delle tagliatelle all'ancora, pesce fresco condito con pomodorino. Ci torneremo presto.

22/05/2025: Bella scoperta vicino al resort domina Zagarella, per alternare ai ristoranti dell’hotel. Ottimo tartare di tonno, in particolare ma tutto buono. Buon servizio veloce, gentili tutti. Torneremo.

25/05/2025: We arrived in a huge, almost empty room. The slightly kitsch decor alone is worth the detour. Excellent pistachio pizzas and impeccable service with humor. It was a Saturday evening and the room gradually filled with families, friends and other regulars: a real spectacle!! Only drawback: the noise!! Can't wait to be able to dine outside.

23/05/2025: We ate a pizza and I have to say it was really good, a little expensive but the quality was there, quick service and very helpful waiting staff. The only flaw for my habit is the place is too big with dozens of tables and consequently very noisy.

25/04/2025: Ci sono luoghi che ti restano impressi, non solo per la qualità di ciò che offrono, ma anche per la capacità di farti sentire speciale, come CRUDO dove eleganza e ospitalità si fondono in un equilibrio perfetto. Con il mio ragazzo eravamo alla ricerca di un posto autentico, lontano dalle trappole per turisti, dove poter assaporare qualcosa di unico. Abbiamo così scelto CRUDO, a cui assegniamo con convinzione cinque stelle (ma solo perché non se ne possono assegnare di più) che per noi equivalgono almeno ad una stella Michelin e che meritano ogni euro speso per vivere l’esperienza che vi descriviamo di seguito. Il concept ideato da Paolo, il proprietario, è chiaro e potente: offrire un’esperienza che sorprenda, senza mai tradire l’essenza della materia prima. È proprio questo quello che abbiamo vissuto scegliendo il menù degustazione da sette portate, firmato dalla chef Claudia. I suoi piatti esaltano i sapori degli ingredienti locali, ma con un tocco contemporaneo che rende unica ogni pietanza. Il pesce freschissimo è attentamente selezionato e plasmato in forme nuove che colpiscono prima gli occhi e poi il gusto. Nessun dettaglio è superfluo, ma pensato per valorizzare la materia prima e permetterle di esprimersi pienamente. Non riveleremo tutte e sette le portate, poiché il mistero è parte integrante dell’esperienza, ma quando abbiamo assaggiato il piatto con il tonno rosso reinterpretato da Claudia, è stato un vero e proprio momento di commozione per quanto era buono. La selezione dei vini, pensata per esaltare ogni piatto, è stata scelta con cura, amplificando ogni sfumatura del percorso gastronomico. Attenti, preparati e sempre presenti al momento giusto, Giuseppe e Andrea, gli assistenti di sala, offrono un servizio impeccabile, con un perfetto equilibrio tra professionalità, discrezione e simpatia. Ciò che rende CRUDO davvero speciale è la sensazione di essere accolti con un calore autentico, in un ambiente dove l’eleganza discreta avvolge senza mai imporsi, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e familiare perfettamente in linea con la tradizione siciliana. Si percepisce davvero di far parte di un progetto pensato con amore e costruito con passione. Claudia e Paolo hanno creato un luogo che va oltre il concetto di ristorante, trasformando ogni cena in un’esperienza indimenticabile. Torneremo con grandissimo piacere!

14/04/2025: Un esperienza da ripetere assolutamente, materie prime di ottima qualità lavorate im maniera innovativa, il tutto accompagnato da una cantina molto interessante ed un personale ben preparato. Un'ottima alternativa per chi cerca qualcosa di diverso dalle solite trattorie di pesce dell'isola.

13/06/2025: Starting from the fact that it is not a restaurant, the fish being from a fish farm is really fresh, but in my opinion the behavior of the owner or the employee was a bit out of place. It was a business lunch: we had a plate of crudités (4 shrimp, 4 oysters, 2 scampi) and two portions of couscous, water to drink and a can of Coca-Cola. We paid about 160 euros, and when it was time to pay the owner or the employee told us: "Usually couples of a certain level come here and order wines from 200 euros and up". I have eaten fresh fish in many places without spending that much and without feeling treated as if I were poor.

01/06/2025: Questo ristorante è perfetto per un pranzo con vecchi amici, si può mangiare fuori, una sala dentro, al primo piano um altra sala per mangiare, postp bellissimo, si siamo incontrati dopo un anno con amici, abbiamo oreso 6 antipasti misti di pesce, 2 primi di pesce fresco, una frittura di pesce, vino acqua, un dolce per 20 euro

06/04/2025: Que salió extremadamente caliente y fresco a un precio muy razonable. Somos el menú de Sicilia con comida de tres platos con comida única en la zona. El primer plato fue la estrella.

25/06/2025: Superb hotel. A true palace!! Luxurious rooms, impeccable service, very welcoming staff, a gourmet restaurant... The only downside would be its location, although it's in the historic center. Its surroundings aren't great, a dirty neighborhood.

22/06/2025: A disappointment. There are probably nice rooms in this hotel but mine was at ground level next to restaurant tables and definitely not worth $164. I would say $80 value at best. Ordinary breakfast. Charming staff and great location.

12/09/2024: The atmosphere is good, it’s like being in a backyard of an old Italic house. But because there was only one waiter and the place was almost full we couldn’t order anymore. He was super friendly but It’s impossible to serve so many customers.
