23/08/2024: I won't comment on the food because we left the place before ordering (but in recent years I remember it without praise or infamy). The central point is the service. Disorganized staff and unwilling to make customers loyal. We arrived with two medium-sized dogs, asking if there was room outside to cause as little discomfort as possible. We were told that everything was booked but to wait a moment and they would ask the girl who takes care of the external part. After a while we asked another girl but were told that they had to ask the lady who first told us to wait. Having been seated inside, as soon as we sat down, the one who we assumed was the manager, told us if we could have the dogs crouch so as not to disturb...dogs who were sitting next to us on the inside side of the table. At that point we decided to leave and explained the reasons. Unclear excuses were made as in the responses to other negative reviews. So the customer doesn't come back and this place, where I wasn't born but I still grew up for decades, doesn't receive what it deserves. I understand that mass tourism is not of interest (which is why I come back every year) but the professionalism should be there regardless.

14/08/2024: We were recently in this pizzeria, we decided since there were 6 of us to do a pizza tour in order to taste different pizzas, apart from the times when the waitress brought us the pizzas we had to call her to order more drinks we go and call her because we as a table were not calculated in the slightest. After it was pointed out to her, she justified herself by saying that she was alone. Unfortunately she spent too much time with the customers where she wanted, neglecting us. I'm sorry because the pizzas were good.

05/08/2024: Evaluation referring to the pizzerias of Ispica, therefore relative. Pizzeria comparable to Bella Lira, with some advantages in the choice of pizzas with seasonal ingredients such as fresh tuna etc. and disadvantages such as the pizza dough which, due to personal taste, I prefer that of BL.

10/08/2024: A pearl, as a Sicilian I can say that I had a wonderful dinner and spent the right amount. Fantastic service, very kind and friendly

27/07/2024: I had dinner with my wife, I was recommended by friends who had been on holiday a few years ago, they had shot me some wonderful photos, abundant dishes, stratospheric frying, but instead we found a restaurant that had obviously changed. Very small portions of fried squid and not fried, grilled very small compared to the portions that had been described to me. The service was excellent, but I don't recommend it, if you want people to come to you don't present gourmet portions, people want to wake up full. However, the hospitality was top notch, I no longer give stars just for the skimpy portions

29/06/2024: In vacanza ci piace andare in ristoranti sempre nuovi ma a Scopello, una volta provato questo ristorante, ci siamo ritornati tutte le sere. Piatti buonissimi oltre che belli, invitanti e colorati. Personale molto gentile e attento. Toilette pulite.

30/05/2024: Buona trattoria posizionata all’inizio del centro storico di Scopello. Personale molto simpatico e professionale, location semplice e portare molto buone. Particolarità: l’uso abbondante e, a mio avviso, smisurato delle mandorle, praticamente presenti ovunque, dagli antipasti al dolce. Buono il cous cous, ma soprattutto la caponata.

20/08/2024: Tutto impeccabile. Servizio perfetto, velocità, attenzione per il cliente. Cibo ottimo , delizioso al palato. Eccezionale la ventresca di tonno. Prezzi consoni . Cannolo iconico della casa con marmellata di mandarino da provare assolutamente.

19/08/2024: Servizio veloce, poco empatico ma sostanzialmente cortese, menu abbastanza interessante, cucina di buon grado con rivisitazioni della tradizione, cantina adeguata e con buone condizioni di servizio, acqua alla spina non a temperatura, almeno nell’esperienza vissuta. Ampissima sala esterna, seppur coperta, con tanti tavoli abbastanza ravvicinati, praticamente chiusa sui quattro lati e dunque da evitare nelle serate particolarmente calde. Conto proporzionalmente ben elevato.

15/08/2024: I asked for processco charm, I was served a rosé charm which did not correspond to the menu and of course not good, catastrophic I did not dare to ask, for me I should not have accepted it, really bad and not indicated on the map

13/08/2024: Fantastic pizza very seasoned but at the same time a very light and digestible dough at the same time more than excellent service courtesy and education on the part of the owner together with his children

24/08/2024: Having booked a table for a simple after dinner, we arrive and sit down and are totally ignored by the staff despite repeated requests to order. After waiting in vain, we left. Service 0.

14/08/2024: Large, open space restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining,, very family friendly. Good menu with wide selection of European and evidently Italian specialities,, with tastes to match most needs. Service can be a little slow when it is busy, and it may be advisable to reserve a table for larger groups at weekends. It is not romantic, but it is perfect for families looking for a good night out. Parking may be an issue….

16/08/2024: Ristorante molto carino e ottimo servizio grazie alla simpatia di Enrico e la professionalità e gentilezza di Sonia. Pesce fresco buono. Tagliatelle di seppia al pesto super!!!! Tartare di tonno ottima. Da tornarci!

14/08/2024: Locale ben curato. Personale gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. È possibile provare diverse specialità di ottima qualità. Ci ritorneremo per tutto ciò che ci è stato offerto dalla cordialità, ospitalità alla… bontà dei cibi!!

16/08/2024: Eravamo a cena in 6, 5 adulti e una bambina, abbiamo ordinato una pizza, 2 piatti di pasta, un coppo di frittura e due secondi di pesce. Premesso che siamo arrivati alle 20.30 che il locare era ancora quasi vuoto e abbiamo iniziato a mangiare alle 22. I piatti sono arrivati ognuno per conto proprio , prima la pizza ovviamente tutti gli altri guardavano ,poi i due piatti di pasta e gli altri 3 guardavano , poi in fine i secondi. Ed eccoci qui proprio ai secondi, io essendo incinta quando ho ordinato il mio piatto di pesce spada grigliato con contorno di le verdure grigliate avevo specificato al cameriere che per questioni di contaminazione nei miei piatti non ci doveva essere nessun tipo di abbellimento o condimento con lattuga o basilico o prezzemolo e puntualmente nel suo ritardo il mio ordine arriva con lattuga e prezzemolo. Quindi, ovviamente, io incinta non potendolo mangiare rimando indietro il tutto. Ora voglio specificare che le verdure le hanno rifatte da zero perché erano disseminate di prezzemolo quindi non potevano risolvere alla svelta come hanno fatto con il pesce spada al quale hanno cambiato solo il piatto senza neanche dargli una riscaldata infatti quando mi è arrivato era freddo, segno del fatto che avessero cambiato solo il piatto! Di conseguenza io ho mangiato per ultima e quando tutti avevano già finito. Dopo tutta l'attesa e il disguido senza neanche un accenno di sconto sul conto per scusarsi. Comunque a parte il disguido del pezzemolo e verdure varie, ritengo che in un tavolo di 6 persone non possono arrivare gli ordini ad uno ad uno e gli altri guardano, o comunque per evitare di mangiare e aspettare gli altri si debbano mangiare la pizza o la pasta fredda.

14/08/2024: Everything excellent! Delicious fish! Very kind staff. The best fried food I've ever eaten. Son of a very knowledgeable business owner, he suggests excellent dishes. When I return to Syracuse it will be a fixed stop.

20/07/2024: Recommended by a friend I can say that the food is good!! fresh and well cooked fish compared to the Syracuse average. We will definitely be back!!
