23/03/2026: Terrible experience. We called at 7:30 PM to have dinner for five adults and two infants, and that we needed two high chairs. We were told yes, but we had to leave the table at nine. That was fine by us. We arrived on time and were put under incredible pressure to finish dinner as quickly as possible, but of course there were no high chairs! The owner stared at us with a terrible, funeral-like face, and her husband constantly scolded the waiters, who were actually very polite. The pizza was good, though! We never felt comfortable, always stared at by the lady with a terrible face. We finished dinner at 8:30 PM, half an hour before the maximum time, and the owner was so insistent and quick that he sprayed disinfectant on the coat of a woman sitting with us. We practically ran away, never feeling comfortable, always staring at each other in an awkward way. At a certain age, stay home because your job as a host is to welcome people, not scare them away. Sometimes retirement is a good thing.

17/05/2026: We visited on a Saturday evening, booking a table for about 20 people, including three children. They placed us in a cramped, hot, and noisy space on the upper floor, accessible only by a spiral staircase. I'll skip the "emergency escape routes" section for obvious reasons, but the inconvenience was obvious to everyone, including the poor waiters. Although they were very kind, they couldn't get through, so they hand-served some pizzas while we were standing. They were quick to prepare the pizzas, but some were burned on the bottom. The "zucchini" was a bit watery and had too much cheese. Parking was also difficult, quite far from the entrance and full to capacity. It's a shame; sometimes you should be content with fewer people in the restaurant, but be able to manage them more humanely. Changing tables are available in the restrooms.

27/11/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, excellent service, and above all, an exceptional location, with only a low wall separating the tables from the sea. A special mention for the desserts, Sicilian cannoli and cassata, the best I've ever had in Sicily.

25/11/2025: We came at the wrong time of year, and many places were closed, so this place was a real treat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; the grilled seafood platter was especially fresh, and at 30 euros, it was enough for two people.

19/05/2026: Let me start by saying that the place isn't exactly nice. You go there for good food. Since we don't eat meat, we looked for a place that served traditional, essentially humble, dishes. So we had the lolli with fava beans and the pasta with Aci trunzo, dishes you won't find everywhere and absolutely recommended. But the thing that kept us coming back two nights in a row was their caponata. We don't understand how they make it; it's slightly different from the others, but we've never had it this good. The woman at the tables, who I assume is the very kind owner, explains the tradition of the dishes and where the ingredients come from. I also recommend trying their fries, since we were so light on the first courses...

05/05/2026: Acireale, CT. Via Lancaster, 2. Corner of Vico dei Padri Filippini. Pizzeria-restaurant right in the city center, with a simple and functional atmosphere. We loved the pizza for its easy-to-digest dough and generous toppings; the service was quite quick and the prices were fair. A bit noisy on weekends, and the beverage offerings were basic. Our choice proved to be a reliable one.

21/04/2026: An unexpected dinner! Snails (crastoni) for an appetizer and first course. Traditional flavors and family history make you appreciate the dishes even more. Chef Sebastiano is frank and sincere, and it shows in the dishes. Experiences worth repeating to try other stories and other dishes.

03/09/2025: DON'T SET FOOT IN THERE!!!! The phenomenon here thinks he can advertise himself with The Fork, with a 50% discount... and since you pay 50%, he thinks he has the right to have to cook at 50%! He made me half portions of both the appetizer and the pasta portion... 10 mussels in total and four strands of pasta counted without sauce... shame on you!!

28/06/2025: High level Sicilian seafood / pasta experience. Cozy little enclave with AC blasting on a blazing hot summer day. Antipasta mare, seafood fettuccine with amberjack and shrimps and the pasta with lobster all 5/5. Great service, clean and lowkey space. One of the best meals in Palermo

14/05/2026: We were in Scicli and, feeling incredibly hungry, we had lunch at this restaurant. We were offered a calamari-based menu and really enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and tasty. It's located right in the center and is well-run.

15/05/2026: Spectacular location with an excellent sea view, very welcoming and well-maintained. The service was impeccable, with special attention paid to customers throughout the meal. The food was excellent, mouth-watering, and reasonably priced. We went for dinner, but since we liked it so much, we returned for lunch as well. Our dishes were: mixed grilled fish, parmigiana, and arancini... highly recommended! Top!

05/01/2026: We've been visiting our dear friends at "Baglio Ciachea" for some time now because they're a surefire success, from the location, which feels like a truly delightful place, to the products themselves. We were their guests on New Year's Day, and they were absolutely fantastic: a warm, Christmassy atmosphere, excellent food, and impeccable service. We were served by Giovanni and Katia, who handled everything flawlessly with their immense professionalism. Katia in particular, who took on the responsibility of serving our table, made us feel at home and pampered us. When you do your job with love and passion, this is the result. Well done, Katia, and well done everyone!!! A 10, top!!!

02/01/2026: My family and I went there for New Year's Eve lunch, everything was excellent from the starter to the dessert, even for my little son who is very fussy, impeccable service, excellent value for money, we will definitely be back
