An excellent restaurant in the center of Catania, located near the historic Via Plebiscito.
The restaurant offers an excellent variety of dishes, both meat and fish, as well as various first courses, all prepared with quality products and carefully selected ingredients.
One of its strengths is certainly the affordable prices, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the dishes served. The service is also excellent, fast and efficient, without long waits.
A special mention goes to the table service, which is truly excellent. Daniele looked after us throughout the meal with great availability and friendliness, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Ristorante Trattoria La Terrazza del Barone in Catania is an absolute gem on the Sicilian culinary map! From the very first moment, you can feel the unique atmosphere of this place – warm, authentic, and very welcoming.
The horse meat deserves a special mention; it was simply sensational – perfectly prepared, juicy, full of flavor, and presented in a way that demonstrates true culinary mastery. This dish is definitely memorable and sets this restaurant apart from others.
This is a place you'll want to return to – both for the exquisite cuisine and the wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania!
