28/12/2025: We returned to Baby Luna after many years and still had a great time. Saturday night, the place was packed, and we didn't have a reservation. There were four of us, and we were lucky; a table became available quickly. The service was attentive and fast. They brought us drinks and took our orders quickly. Of course, given the number of customers, we had to wait a bit, but they're very organized and work quickly. We ordered three pizzas, a mixed fried fish and chips: everything was brought at the same time. The waiters were attentive, checking that everything was fine and clearing away empty plates to make more room on the table. We ordered a Norma pizza, a Bresaola, and a 4 Gusti. They were well-cooked and well-seasoned. The mixed fried fish was plentiful and crispy. And, finally, something we really like: Coca-Cola in a large glass bottle! One more detail: the bill. All this for a total of €63. After so many years, we're happy to be back!

15/02/2026: Karaoke is something for everyone, and there are those who don't. Having two rooms, one practically half full where there's no karaoke and one where you can't even talk due to the chaos, it would have been right to let the customer know when making a phone reservation and ask where they prefer to eat their pizza 🍕. Absolutely poor booking management.

15/02/2026: Yesterday, my partner and I had a Valentine's Day seafood dinner with very high expectations given our previous positive experiences at the restaurant, only to be deeply disappointed. While personal tastes can influence the food, there were some obvious problems. Water, soft drinks, and wine were immediately brought to the table, but unfortunately, they didn't open them at the table. The appetizers were generally decent; the shrimp cocktail was a real treat, excellent, as were the swordfish pearl and the mussels au gratin. The octopus carpaccio was drowned in oil and flavorless, the salmon tartare with orange mayonnaise lacked even a hint of flavor, and the tartare itself was completely unseasoned. The tuna mousse was passable, as was the shrimp and crab fritter. The first courses didn't impress us; the dressing seemed watered down. The trenette with shrimp, pistachio, and asparagus oil lacked the flavor of asparagus, and the lobster panzerotti weren't fresh. The second courses were the same: the stuffed salmon roll was very dry and arrived practically cold. The filling was good overall, but the gratinated shrimp skewer wasn't gratinated and had a strong ammonia flavor. Unfortunately, the dishes left an unpleasant aftertaste. The side dish of baked potatoes with cheese fondue, without fondue, was simply melted cheese that arrived cold and with the consistency of plastic. It definitely wasn't a fondue. Too much oil, too much garlic, too much disorganization. The dessert had been there since the Paleolithic era; it tasted like something frozen years later. I'm deeply disappointed, and I'm sorry because we've eaten very well here in the past, but last night I don't know what could have happened.

24/11/2025: A historic restaurant that never disappoints, always serving fresh fish, well-prepared dishes, and a wide variety of desserts. It's also a great place to grab a pizza with friends. The owner, Mr. Pispisa, and his team are professional and helpful, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

16/03/2026: Monday evening, it was raining heavily, and few restaurants were open… but we still managed to find this restaurant and had dinner there! The food was very good and sophisticated (we had the octopus spaghetti bolognese!), and the prices were reasonable. We wanted to order two glasses of wine: they offered us something other than Nero d’Avola (which was a nice touch). It's a shame that two desserts were unavailable (but the ones we did try were very good). A funny little story: Once we went outside… a car drove by and splashed us! The manager (who must have heard our cries after getting wet…) quickly went out to check if we were alright. In short, a great place! I highly recommend it!

14/03/2026: I give it my all because even though some have said the place is a bit bare, the warmth of Pino and the staff (all kind and professional) makes up for it. Personally, the space and atmosphere made me feel at home. The quality of the food and preparation has nothing but praise! Delicious Sicilian cuisine that makes you feel at home. I, along with fellow teachers, accompanied several high school classes. Pino was attentive and not only accommodated everyone's requests, even those outside the set menu, but he was precise with his timing and generous with the portions. Knowing we were going to his place for lunch after our busy schedule was very comforting. Thank you!

17/01/2026: Excellent restaurant on the Castellammare seafront. It wasn't my first time there, and I'm always thoroughly satisfied. Wide menu selection, well-stocked wine list, traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation, and delicious fresh seafood. Excellent and fast service, friendly and patient staff. Excellent value. Reservations are recommended on Saturdays and Sundays and in high season.

31/12/2025: Fantastic dishes! Exceptional seafood appetizer with incredibly fresh fish. Then the highlight...a unique citrus risotto. All topped off with the kindness and courtesy of Salvatore, the true soul of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

01/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve dinner...the whole local family was welcoming and the staff were friendly. I recommend it.

30/11/2025: Today my family and I all stopped by for lunch. The service was friendly enough, but the prices and food weren't very impressive. While I was eating, I found a hair in a fish and even told the waiter, saying, "Damn, I'll bring you another one." But after waiting an hour, he didn't bring me anything. The area was pretty nice and welcoming. The only thing that shocked everyone, I think, was the price! We spent €500 for 17 people, and the receipt didn't even list what we ordered.

16/02/2026: I'd tried this fishmonger a few years ago, but last Sunday we stopped in for a meal based on the recommendation of a relative who has become a regular. A truly excellent recommendation: the staff is very warm and welcoming, setting us up at a table in less than ten minutes even though there's limited seating. The quality of the food is truly excellent, with fresh fish and a variety of options at the counter. The express first and second courses are also interesting, at reasonable prices. We ate really well and will definitely be back!

19/02/2026: Cold first course and phantom service. If you're looking for a place where you can pay gourmet prices for cold linguine in an unsanitary environment, this is the place! As soon as we sat down... there were still remnants of the previous diners' meals and an ashtray full of cigarette butts. It's unacceptable that in such a small place, the waiters could be so distracted as to forget everything, even the cutlery, for over a quarter of an hour, letting the serving dish cool before our eyes: we were invisible to the table attendants. The same embarrassing situation for our neighbors, who asked in vain for paper napkins for their daughter! Space is at a premium, tables facing the street are to be avoided; they're crowded, and the smell from the harbor (far from pleasant) makes lunch unpleasant. A real shame because the food is well-cooked, but at this price, service and cleanliness should be a priority, not an optional extra. What left us perplexed was how everything was weighed at once and in such a rush by the chef or cashier (like standing in line at the supermarket) without even giving you the slightest bit of time to choose what you wanted; the octopus, shrimp, calamari, oxeye, mussels, and sea urchins were all weighed at once, a shame the weight paid didn't correspond to the quantity on the plate. Reading about the impeccable service in the reviews of this place, even though the waiters were completely inefficient, made us realize how valuable friendships can be...
