16/11/2024: Palermo aveva bisogno del ritorno “a casa” del Charleston, nel cuore del centro città dove i ristoranti di questo livello si contano sulle dita di una mano. La nuova sede dell’ex bar Mazzara è elegantissima e la cucina è straordinaria, frutto degli studi dello chef Verde che si percepiscono in ogni piatto. Continuando così è certo che arriveranno tantissimi riconoscimenti. Ma la cosa più gradita del nuovo Charleston è l’incredibile clima, una coccola per il cliente: si respira davvero l’affiatamento tra tutti i componenti dello staff e da un ambiente del genere non possono che nascere cose altrettanto belle.

06/06/2025: We had a paella for two, I must say it was very good and plentiful, unfortunately the atmosphere inside the restaurant is sad and poorly lit. I must honestly say that if I hadn't been attracted by the paella, I wouldn't have sat down.

24/05/2025: Wo gehen Einheimische hin? Wo bestellen die Einwohner aus der Stadt ihre Speisen? In welchen Gerichten ist Fisch primär aber steht nicht im Vordergrund? Hier in diesem Lokal. Bodenständig, super. Netter Service, faire Preise, sehr, sehr gute Qualität. Alle Produkte sind nicht nur einfachhergestellt, sondern sie wurden mit Liebe gemacht.

10/06/2025: Everything was very good, the service was polite and attentive... the only small disappointment was the desserts... fruit tartare with sorbet and the fruit sorbet (the fruit was not specified) which in the end was the same as the base of the tartare... so thinking of trying two different desserts we found ourselves eating the same thing... for the rest everything was excellent.

04/07/2025: Food was fine. Service wasn't great - left waiting for ages and felt forgotten and like we were an inconvenience, even as the place wasn't particularly busy. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

22/06/2025: A nice dinner after a fabulous day… or so we expected…… don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious, but the service oh my days. Abysmal. The moment we stepped in we were treated with eye rolling. Every single table that came after us was served water, starters, drinks, wine. Anything and everything. We were patiently waiting, as we are not the people to make fuss, after a while the waiter came and IMPATIENTLY took our order. (Which afterward came out wrong, although when being repeated back we pointed out that NO WE do NOT want that, we want this) not even mentioning the ordering of the wine. When the starters arrived we didn’t receive our wine until after we finished, never received an ice bucket for our white wine although it was really warm or the water that we asked for (despite the fact that it was of course added to the bill). 0 attention to us. Mains as expected came without sides, wine opened with not even a question of its the right bottle or a taste. When the bill came the waiter came to “””””make sure”””” everything is okay. Busy or not busy, this is not the way to treat a customer.

13/05/2025: Not tasty at all… not even good enough as a 6 euros street food… especially considering the price, it’s like a scum… As the first meal at Sicily, I really felt very disappointed.

18/06/2025: Really good food! Special requests are happily accommodated (vegetarian antipasti). I was also served a regional pasta dish upon request. Delicious! For dessert, there were ravioli fritti con ricotta e pistacchio. Outstanding! The attentive, friendly service from all the staff is also worth mentioning!

21/04/2025: Decisamente il "Punto Giusto" in cui fermarsi per gustare la pizza migliore di Palazzolo. Sempre attenti alla scelta di prodotti locali e stagionali. Impasto soffice e lievitato a dovere. Fabio poi, con la sua simpatia riesce ad accoglierti in maniera amichevole e professionale. Anche i nostri amici più "difficili" da accontentare, sono sempre usciti soddisfatti e piacevolmente colpiti dalla qualità garantita dal posto. Mi sembra un buon motivo per andare e provare, no?

20/05/2025: 11 July 2023 I was in Campobello di Licata I was out cycling I didn't know where to go to eat but I already knew this very welcoming place I had already known it a few years ago. And I must say that it remained as I remembered it, excellent cuisine, excellent prices at normal prices, excellent service. I recommend it to all tourists who pass through Campobello di Licata
