14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

26/08/2025: We ordered a tartare, spaghetti Palermo-style, and grilled octopus with chickpea hummus. The first two were good, but the octopus arrived clearly burned and bitter. We reported this to the manager and sent the dish back. The manager came back and told us that the preparation was correct and that they could just vary the cooking and bake it. To cut to the chase, we decided to switch dishes and order another spaghetti dish. Unfortunately, I'm forced to give one star for the terrible treatment at the checkout: we were charged half the price of the octopus because "it was prepared correctly!" Half of the octopus burned at the till and a customer who will definitely not return.

26/07/2025: Strange and unexpectedly unpleasant experience. Definitely not to be repeated. Such a nice location but such a poor quality. Have to wait the dish and attention for ages despite there are not so many tables. This is the attitude to clients. Menu was not given , only four options of available dishes were just written on the table on the wall. My dish was impossible to eat, too spicy. Had to wait again for their second try. I cant say I was happy about that, it was already too late and we had a long way back home. They also included in the bill "additional service" 3.5 euro per person (!)although we didn't have any idea about and we weren't warned about it too. Me and my friends find it very unfair to have hidden costs and not to be given a menu to know what to expect. In this place a client never knows how much he will pay at the end. Ride and unfriendly attitude. Money but not client oriented . (I also noticed they reply very rude to negative comments and reviews of people that means there are no changes expected as they are always right). OK , go on

27/11/2025: Typical dishes, well presented, tasty. I recommend pasta with sardines and fried fish for those who love fish. Spacious place, professional staff.

18/10/2025: Long waiting times between a starter and a first course, especially when the restaurant is full, the quality of the pasta is poor, overcooked and made of common wheat, perhaps it doesn't hold up to cooking, a shame for a nice restaurant like this

18/09/2025: Very nice place, kind, attentive and helpful staff, the cuisine is excellent and the raw materials are of high quality, we had an excellent dinner with many courses all delicious, we are very satisfied.

24/10/2025: We went to dinner on the recommendation of a waitress at a bar where we had a drink that afternoon, and the experience was disastrous, bordering on aggressive. The service and food were very good, the only problem was what happened to a harassing customer. When he got upset about the volume of our voice, he went like Donkey Kong, becoming very aggressive with us. Thankfully, people from other tables intervened to calm the guy's anger, and things didn't escalate; it didn't come to blows or anything more. What I don't think is fair is that we were enjoying a good dinner with friends and good service, and a "customer" arrives, and it turns into a nightmare. It's a real shame!

14/10/2025: Delicious pasta and fish. Loved everything. Staff were excellent, especially Ayoub. They helped choose the fresh fish and the appropriate preparation. Overall one of the best meals we had in Ortigia.

08/09/2025: This little gem of Scicli is something that you need, no, it's a must to go there, the food is extremely fresh and simple and tasty, I would recommend to everyone how love seafood. The owner is friendly and helpful.

03/11/2025: The best vegetarian pizza I've ever had. Fluffy dough, lots of veggies and not too much cheese, perfect! Don't expect anything fancy, the tables and chairs are plastic. The menu shows take away prices, if you dine in each pizza costs 1,50 € more.

We chose pizza and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh, carefully selected, and above all, locally sourced, which truly make a difference on the palate. The restaurant is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail, and a warm and refined atmosphere that makes dinner even more enjoyable. Every detail is tastefully considered, and you can sense the owners' passion, always present and professional. A special thanks goes to Dario, the waiter who served us: attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling. A true added value to the overall experience. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, elegance, and superior service. A place you'll gladly return to! 🍕✨

23/11/2025: Stopped in for lunch, I was having an off day and didn’t want a pasta and fish dish, have a tomato allergy so had few choices, the server was attentive and tried to help me find a plate solution, so had the couscous with vegetables, creative presentation but the grains did not have much flavor. Nice decor, in and outside seating.

11/11/2025: I don't know what happened to this place, but as a Trapani native, I will never eat there again, with great regret. It was an absolutely negative experience (confirmed by another equally negative experience ten days later with a group of friends). I can't complain about the service, although a little rushed. The staff was kind and courteous. The atmosphere wasn't great. They sat us outside because they didn't have our reservation with TheFork, but that wasn't a problem; it was the complete lack of atmosphere in the outdoor gazebo. And now comes the worst part: the food 🙃. I always thought that, more or less everywhere, traditional dishes were good! But I was wrong. I'm very sorry to say this, but our first courses truly had no flavor whatsoever... the flavors of the ingredients were indistinguishable!!!! And I'd say that not tasting the bottarga is really, really bad. Anyone from Trapani knows. And I didn't even like the dessert, a cheesecake with barely any cream on top 🥲 In short, I failed—reluctantly.

15/12/2025: Delicious! We ordered three dishes, and they were all very good. Even the kids enjoyed the pasta with salmon. I highly recommend it!

09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.
