26/04/2025: La mejor comida en Palermo. Porción generosa, muy fresca, comida casera. Triste que encontramos en nuestra última noche. Propietario muy acogedor.

21/04/2025: È stato il ristorante di riferimento durante la nostra vacanza. Abbiamo più volte scelto di pranzare/cenare, non solo per la qualità e bontà del cibo, ma anche per la cordialità e disponibilità del Sig. Mimmo e dei suoi familiari. Abbiamo apprezzato le tagliatelle allo scrigno, i secondi a base di pesce e gli antipasti tipici siciliani. Porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo sicuramente

20/06/2025: I'm not from Vittoria, I searched online for a good place to have a good breakfast and, after reading the insistent reviews addressed to this bar, I went. Well, I confirm! Very kind, friendly and professional staff! I had a brioche with lemon granita... spectacular to say the least! Excellent and quality coffee. The breakfast counter (croissants, etc.) was also very inviting, I watched the people consuming satisfied! I will definitely return to this bar as soon as I find myself in Vittoria, I highly recommend it!

10/08/2025: The food was good: cooked fish appetizer, pasta with scampi, scallops rolls, shrimp skewers, grilled vegetables, and dessert. The staff was helpful; we asked to change tables due to being too close to some people sitting on a public bench, and were promptly moved.

03/08/2025: A restaurant serving traditional cuisine; we opted for a seafood menu. The mix of appetizers and seafood carbonara were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to every request. You can also dine outside in the square adjacent to the restaurant.

07/09/2025: Second dish ok but nothing special, food which you find in every Catania resturants. Service difficult to comment as only bad words are coming. Wine in high price. View from restaurant to dirty bay.

06/09/2025: The fracture still has scales. My napkin fell off and was taken from a nearby table that was already set. There was private conversation between waiters too close to the tables. Visited 5/9/25 for dinner, 8:40 PM, not very crowded, the room was half empty until 10:40 PM. Average prices

26/07/2025: A very satisfying culinary experience: seafood appetizer, pizza, seafood first course, and giant sandwiches made with the same pizza dough—a true delight. We recommend the ricotta-filled ravioli for dessert, which are absolutely delicious. The owners were very welcoming and the atmosphere was family-friendly; at the end of the meal, they even offered us a delicious limoncello they made. The prices were absolutely fair. We'll be back regularly.

25/07/2025: It's incomprehensible... We ordered fried mixed seafood, a complete pizza kebab sandwich, and a gratin pizza filled with crispy shrimp. We came to celebrate. If there's a culinary paradise, this is it! Thank you so much for your kindness, too—top marks for us.

22/07/2025: Ho scelto la trattoria Al Faro per il mio compleanno, scelta decisamente azzeccata! Abbiamo optato per un delizioso Menù con vari manicaretti come antipasti, un primo con vellutata di cozze e patate, una frittura di paranza con merluzzi, triglie, cappuccetto ed il gambero di Sciacca, servizio impeccabile, tutto 10 e lode, complimenti a tutto lo staff!

16/08/2025: The restaurant is located near the beach access. It serves excellent Italian cuisine. The restaurant is run by a Polish woman who is a great place to chat about various topics (thank you for helping us book our cruise and confirming that Tempio di Segesta will be open on August 15th).

15/08/2025: Disappointing dinner. We ordered several dishes. The pizzas were good. The tourist menus arrived almost an hour late (they must have forgotten about them), and when they did arrive, having cooked it quickly, the pasta was raw. Prices were way above average, and it was absurd, noting that a bottle of Coke costs 6 euros, to have the waiter reply, "It's a tourist place!" 😅 Moreover, given what happened, they didn't even have the foresight to give us a discount or even offer coffees (which were 2 euros each, the same as the cover charge per person). I don't recommend it. 👎

18/08/2025: Very pretty setting, we ate very well! Just a bit of a shame we had a long wait between the starter and the main course, but everything was excellent.

16/07/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by my first taste of Peruvian cuisine in Rome. The flavors were intense, though I found them a bit heavy for my standards. Excellent service, with absolutely reasonable prices.

03/09/2025: I've been there several times and always had a good meal, but the last time was a disappointment. The peppered mussels tasted only of vinegar, and the scampi were bitter, with dark meat. The seafood risotto was completely unrelated to the seasoning, and the calamari and octopus were incredibly tough and impossible to chew. We still paid for everything (and quite handsomely, I might add).

31/08/2025: Overrated. Unfortunately, I had other expectations. We made the mistake of trusting the waiter with the choice of raw fish, which he didn't leave with a good taste. The scampi were good, but we hadn't asked for them, and if we'd known they were €80 a kilo, we certainly wouldn't have ordered them. Other items were frozen, and that's also written on the menu. The two sea urchin first courses were good, and all in all, it could have been a sufficient lunch... but not for the price we ultimately paid and the zero service we received. I'm truly sorry, as a Catanian... because in Catania, it's easy to have unpleasant surprises in restaurants these days. It's increasingly true that the best fish is eaten at home.

08/07/2025: Very friendly staff, delicious croissants, and good coffee. Two days later we had pizza, which was also delicious.
