15/07/2026: We returned to this wonderful place for the umpteenth time, and as always, we can only confirm its excellence. Surrounded by greenery, the restaurant offers an intimate and regenerating atmosphere: despite the heat, the light breeze coming down from the hill makes the stay extremely pleasant. The quality of the food is unquestionable. Personally, as a celiac, I've always found great attention to my needs, while my husband claims he's eaten the best marinated mussels here ever. What's truly impressive, besides the food, is the service: kindness, attentiveness, and a rare warmth. One example? The special gesture for our son's birthday. We had only briefly mentioned the occasion, without wanting to disturb or expect anything, yet they surprised us with a candle on the tiramisu and a special tune: these are touches that not everyone gets and that make the difference between a common place and a high-end restaurant. Reading some recent reviews, I find it really strange to see so few stars all in a row, one after the other (probably a retaliation between "grown-ups"). Our experience, consolidated over several visits, is diametrically opposed. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. It is managed and run admirably. Congratulations to all the staff: keep up the good work! Thank you for once again giving us wonderful family moments. We can't wait to return next year... Oh, and I almost forgot... we ordered a myrtle liqueur and were surprised to find it not included in the bill: a spontaneous gesture, done without us asking, which denotes an old-fashioned class...

08/06/2026: The food is delicious and fresh (mainly fish with one or two vegetarian and meat dishes). The ambiance is beautiful, right by the sea, and the interior is lovely too. We visited in April and June and received very friendly service both times. The service is quick, and the dessert selection is fantastic!

07/06/2026: My two friends and I had dinner last Tuesday. We ate raw fish (carpaccio and tartare), which were excellent and very fresh. Then we had some first courses. I must say that we were very surprised and fascinated by the cuisine and its flavours. A special mention goes to the very kind and helpful waitress. I really wanted to make a good impression on my friends.

07/06/2026: Terrible experience from the moment we entered The staff (except waitress) were wearing sports clothes and were poor in appearance, looked more like they work in a warehouse or manual job. Would expect a uniform or professional appearance, but no If I understand correctly the place has been recently refurbished, judging by the photos from other reviews. I can say that the decor and ambience was made worse. Perhaps it’s a new owner and it was them who made the changes Most previous reviews are very positive but I have absolutely no idea why. Again I can only think the management changed and all aspects of the restaurant declined Food was very average. We decided not to have dessert and coffee as we normally do, and had went to another restaurant Moreover, it was the worst meal we had during our stay in the city and the most expensive. It was painful to pay the bill The location is not nice and there is no terrace to sit on, so only option is inside I cannot recommend at all. There are many much better options

11/05/2026: Located on the harbor, the view is a delight for the eyes. Unfortunately, the dishes offered don't live up to expectations, except for the truly excellent charcuterie and cheese platter. The service is efficient and attentive...despite the "hefty" bill, I'll give this place another chance...if only for Marco Predolin's friendliness!

22/11/2025: If I were to rate the food, my review would be positive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately assaulted by the waitress, the irritable blonde, for arriving slightly early for our reservation. Okay, we swallowed and waited patiently outside in the cold. Once seated at our table, we were served by two waitresses, one truly friendly and nice, the other decidedly rude, surly, and very annoyed. Her rudeness and impatience turned what should have been a pleasant evening into one to forget. Paying customers shouldn't be treated that way. But even worse was that, after we pointed out to the waitress her terrible attitude toward us, she pretended to be completely taken aback. This job is tiring and understandable, like all jobs, but if you completely lack empathy, perhaps it would be best to consider changing careers.

07/07/2026: Visited June 26. Firstly I would give this 3.5stars if I could. My score is based on 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered being disappointing. Service was good and friendly, and we sat outside. The restaurant seemed clean inside. We were happy to find somewhere open for an early tea when many places haven't reopened for the evening. The Chiusoni Galluresi al ragu was very good and I'd recommend. However, the calamari fritti was not crisp and tasted bland. Frankly an expensive dish for it to be sub-par. I also had a Napoli pizza. Flavour-wise it was fine (very salty as that's the ingredients, so fine for me) but it had way too much topping that it was so soggy. It couldn't be picked up. Way too much mozzarella I think that made the pizza wet (I didn't think I'd complain about generous toppings, but you should be able to pick up a slice of pizza!) Overall maybe a higher score if not for the average and pricey calamari. They have a confusing board advertising an afternoon deal or something, that actually is just regular dishes off the menu and didn't seem to mean anything

07/07/2026: I haven't left this wonderful restaurant yet, and I can say I ate a wonderful seafood risotto, and my husband a tagliatelle with squid ink, shrimp, and mussels, which was equally good. The welcome and service were impeccable. I regret not taking photos of the dishes, which were also beautiful to look at. The bill was also excellent.

25/07/2026: A large restaurant with good service in Cala Gonone. We were seated promptly for dinner despite not having a reservation. We tried the spaghetti carbonara, which was a bit too al dente for our taste, but the flavor was excellent. We also ordered delicious ravioli with beef ragu, although the portion was a bit small. Finally, we ordered homemade tiramisu, which was very good. Thank you very much!

07/04/2026: We were a group of 12 and ate at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. The staff was kind, smiling, and welcoming. They advised us on what to order and helped us determine the portion sizes, which was very welcome because we were able to sample various dishes and accommodate the tastes of both adults and children. We enjoyed everything, both the pizza and the seafood. The ravioli and mixed antipasti were very good. The desserts were also delicious. Thank you for helping make our two days in Alghero special! We will definitely be back and recommend it!

Unfortunately, today we found it to be a tired place, with barely decent appetizers, and spaghetti with clams and bottarga, with the starters being few and tiny, and barely a trace of minced bottarga, all drowned in oil from at least two years ago!! REALLY DISAPPOINTING

16/06/2026: I went there with some colleagues who knew it for a business lunch. We tried a few appetizers and a first course, but the menu will definitely be worth exploring further on other occasions. A good restaurant, the strong point is DEFINITELY the quality of the service, which was extremely courteous, attentive, and professional!

30/06/2026: Nice little place, 1970s-style. The penne and salmon pasta was good, the beef steak was good, but the baked potatoes could be improved, as they presumably only needed a little warming in the oven. The sebada was good, and the toasted almonds with sugar and cinnamon were delicious. The waitress was very professional, attentive, and discreet.
