Update about a year after my first review I'm back writing about La Marinella about a year after my first experience, which I described as very positive. The restaurant continues to be a local hotspot for its location, atmosphere, and overall quality, but this time I wanted to focus specifically on the pizza, which I hadn't yet tried. I'll start with the aspects that remain absolutely key: the quality of the ingredients. This time, too, it was consistently top-notch. The seafood pizza, in particular, was generous and well-topped, with plenty of octopus, calamari, shrimp, and mussels, all clearly fresh and top-notch. The same goes for the other table-side pizzas, from the simplest ingredients like prosciutto and tuna to more distinctive products like bottarga: you can immediately sense the quality of the ingredients, which remains one of the restaurant's true strengths. The main problem, at least in my experience, concerns the dough. I found it rather thick, rubbery, and not very light. Digestion was difficult: the pizza was heavy throughout the evening and into the hours that followed. This unfortunately has a significant impact, because no matter how excellent the ingredients are, a pizza should also be easy to digest, not just rich and well-topped. As for the restaurant, however, there's nothing to complain about: it continues to be one of its strong points. The restaurant maintains an elegant and refined atmosphere, while the outdoor area dedicated to the pizzeria is perfect on summer evenings thanks to its seaside location. A practical tip is to book around 8:00 PM: you can enjoy the sunset in greater tranquility, while after 9:00 PM the atmosphere becomes much more crowded and noisy. In conclusion, La Marinella remains a place I recommend for the extremely high-quality ingredients and the overall experience, especially the restaurant, which I continue to consider excellent. The pizza, on the other hand, has clear potential, but I think the dough needs to be worked on to make it lighter and more digestible. It's still worth trying, especially for its location and the quality of the ingredients.

Best appetizer bread I’ve had in Europe so far. Every bread served in the beginning is cold, untoasted sometimes so hard and crunchy. The bread here was perfectly toasted with salt and olive oil. Octopus was very delicious. Meats and cheese spread, also very good.

Friendliness and professionalism are the foundation of everything. The food is excellent, it was a wonderful experience, well done.

I only had a couple of dinks and everything was ok, great atmosphere and nice people, I will gladly go back and I recommend it
