29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.

25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

02/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve lunch yesterday, with a reservation made a full two months ago, before the menu was even released. We did so because we've always trusted this restaurant, which has guaranteed us high quality in the past, and because we absolutely wanted to be there. The owner assured us that once the menu was published (which he said would be a little more expensive than other years, but no more than €90 per person), he would send it to us via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp menu never arrived. However, a few weeks ago, a menu was posted on the restaurant's Facebook page (photo attached) that clearly stated: €80 for lunch + €15 for seafood per person, for a total of €95. Although the price wasn't in line with local prices, we confirmed our presence anyway, expressing our utmost confidence. In fact, we stopped by in person a few days earlier to confirm. On that occasion, we spoke with the owner's brother, who told us that the owner was calling to confirm (which we never received), but that there were no problems because we had stopped by in person. We were even told to stay calm because, in his own words, "even if the price is high, he always makes a little adjustment." Let's get to the point: yesterday we paid €600 for six people, or €100 each. When we asked for an explanation, the owner dismissed the matter by saying that there must have been a mistake on the menu posted on Facebook, without apologizing, and in fact almost implying that we had misread the menu. We found €20 for a small plate of seafood absolutely exorbitant, and, above all, €100 per person for this lunch a truly disproportionate price. The quality may be good, but transparency and respect for the customer come first, and unfortunately, they were lacking this time.

29/12/2025: Excellent Christmas lunch (exceptional price compared to normal), but the quality was exceptional, even in the choice of menu. Excellent service... all the waiters were great.

18/01/2026: I went for lunch with my partner at the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where we stayed for a few days. Everything was excellent, the staff were kind and welcoming. Just a few small flaws, but nothing serious. No à la carte menu. Maybe on Sundays they prefer a fixed menu. I don't know 🤷🏽‍♀️ They only asked if we wanted white or rosé wine/still or sparkling water. For the rest, they told us they'd start with hot fish appetizers, followed by two first courses, and then, if we wanted, fried fish and sorbet. So, of course, we started with lunch, with a small warning to avoid tomato-based dishes for me. Excellent and well-proportioned appetizer, I loved the gratin mussels 🤤 with the risotto I was about to explode and when the paccheri arrived, alas I had to remind the waiter that I couldn't have tomato 🤦🏽‍♀️ he apologized and immediately remedied by having them make linguine with clams which I must say was good but I would have used less pepper (for my personal taste). Then we gave up 😅 I really wanted to try the fried food but I was stuffed. If I were to return to Taranto I would most likely eat there again but I would try during the week to see if things are different.

17/01/2026: We happened upon this place one Saturday and had a truly excellent experience. The food is plentiful and carefully prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly. My compliments go to Nello, who took our orders and was truly friendly and helpful.
