08/04/2026: A small, cozy trattoria where you'll immediately feel at home. Tommy, the owner, is truly friendly, and the cuisine is excellent.
Fresh raw seafood, delicious dishes like fried anchovies with Tropea onions and balsamic vinegar, and a superb octopus salad with homemade pickles.
Excellent value for money.
15/03/2026: Every time we return to Tommy's, it's a confirmation: the fish is always super fresh and the dishes are delicious. The raw fish is really good, as are the pasta dishes. Excellent value for money. I recommend it 100%!

23/12/2025: We came here for the first time and were greeted by the kindness of the owner, who gave us excellent recommendations for the dishes. We had appetizers, first courses, and desserts, all beautifully prepared with good-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is very refined and comfortable. We will definitely return and would happily recommend it.

Highly recommended, it never disappoints in every way: captivating menu, top-quality ingredients, attentive and smiling service, pleasant and warm atmosphere, and well-spaced tables. The appetizers are excellent, and everything else is consistent... right down to the desserts!

20/09/2025: Fantastic! Unfortunately, all the menus in town seem pretty much the same. Not so here, because there aren't any. Local cuisine, just the way you like it. You start with a generous selection of appetizers. Not just the usual fare, but typical regional specialties. If you manage to stick around for the second course, you'll be treated to first-class, handmade pasta in various styles. We didn't have time for the main course, but we did have a legendary tiramisu. Handmade, of course, and incredibly delicious. However, people with cat allergies should avoid this restaurant, as they are everywhere.
If you embrace this and enjoy the experience, it's simply fabulous.
For me, it's simply the best restaurant in and around Vieste.
02/09/2025: A beautiful, rustic country house near Vieste.
We went for lunch and received a very warm welcome. There's no menu; the dishes are chosen based on individual preferences or the owner's recommendations.
The typical regional dishes are freshly prepared and incredibly delicious.
Overall, a wonderful experience to discover authentic Italian cuisine.

23/11/2025: We met the Camavité family in September and ended our summer on a high note.
The room was clean and comfortable with a small terrace that always afforded sea views.
We had dinner at the restaurant, and I think it's one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
Very friendly staff, top-notch food with beautifully presented local specialties.
Breakfast was fantastic!

11/11/2025: A unique experience... I saw it on TV in the program "4 Ristoranti" (4 Restaurants), tried it this summer, and I have to say it's truly exceptional.
Excellent value for money, and the location is simply "stunning."

13/03/2026: The interior is cute, quite rustic, reminding me a bit of a tourist attraction inside an amusement park. The food is exceptional; I recommend the spaghetti all'assassina. I must say I noticed the high quality of the dishes, especially at the fairly reasonable prices. The service is a major flaw: they forgot our appetizers, misunderstood our order, didn't bring our drinks, and it took them five minutes to issue a bill. However, the overall quality is good; I'd gladly return.

30/04/2026: Despite the pouring rain, the service was cheerful and friendly, which is rare; as a woman traveling alone, I was even allowed to choose my own table. Wonderful local white wine and spaghetti frutte di mare – what more could one ask for to be happy? Thank you so much, grazie.
24/03/2026: Beautiful location in the heart of Otranto's historic center. The service is excellent thanks to the highly trained, friendly, and helpful staff. The restaurant offers high-quality traditional dishes, thanks in part to the excellent work of the kitchen. I was there on Saturday for lunch and will definitely be back.

10/05/2026: A truly excellent place; the Ligurian pasta from Scampi and the seafood from La Mare are superb. The red wine is top-notch. Don't hesitate to go if you're passing near Gallipoli.

Switched to the fish-based menu, we found ourselves in a frozen, tasteless apotheosis.
It was all devoid of any substance and not even appetizing.
Absolutely not to be repeated.
10/03/2026: Last night we returned to La Greppia, a place I've been coming to for years when I want to eat really good fish. We had booked two days in advance for a nice plate of raw fish, and they served us fantastic, incredibly fresh, and top-quality fish. The service was super attentive and personalized.
The only surprise was the final bill: the raw fish was plentiful and excellent, but the price was significantly higher than usual, and it was calculated for six people, whereas there were two of us.
It's still a place I recommend to anyone who loves fresh fish.
