28/08/2025: We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday and were very pleased with the service we received. The food was excellent, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous, right by the sea. I highly recommend it.

10/06/2025: Locale perfetto per gli amanti del crudo di qualità; per gli altri poca scelta. Le indicazioni della gestione sono chiare: solo crudo e qualcosa di scottato, quindi si sa cosa aspettarsi.... Ottime ostriche e crostacei come del resto i vari carpacci. Molto buono il salmone scottato ed il salmone affumicato da gustare con "foglie" di pane abbrustolito e burro.. Prezzi alti ma rapportati al prodotto.

05/06/2025: We hebben heerlijk geluncht op een prachtige plek! Het eten was top. Fine Dining voor een vriendelijke prijs. De service was goed, het eten heerlijk en de lokatie prachtig. Ze gebruiken kruiden uit eigen tuin.

31/07/2025: Three adults, a very light appetizer to share, a first course for three (yes, just one), water, and off we go. Total bill: €91. No, we didn't go to the wrong restaurant, nor did they serve us caviar and white truffle. The receipt? An abstract poem: no details on the dishes, no clear voice. Just a final total worthy of a four-course seafood dinner each... in downtown Milan, perhaps. The quality? Honest... but only if we were at a passing service station, not a restaurant that demands gourmet prices. We've traveled halfway around the world, eaten everywhere, and we're always happy to spend money on good food. But being taken for a fool, no thanks. A word of advice for the managers: a little more transparency and a little less imagination in calculating the bill wouldn't hurt. For now, let's leave the "Peschereccio" at port... and we certainly won't return.

10/08/2025: One of the best seafood restaurants we've ever been to. The produce is incredibly fresh and the prices are unbeatable. The staff is very friendly. Don't miss it if you're in the area. Reservations required.

09/08/2025: To get 5 stars, change the doorman who calls customers and the lady behind the register who puts you on the list. Extremely rude and arrogant. I understand the tiredness, but we're people who are coming to spend money at your place. Terrible organization. The first time I showed up at 9 PM and they told me we'd be in by 11 PM. (Let's go). The second time, I showed up at 6:27 PM because I called and a girl told me that if I showed up at 6:30 PM, they'd put me on the first list (7-9 PM). Instead, they put me on the third list and seated us at 11:30 PM. Very good food, low prices, friendly waiters. Worth a try if you have a lot of time to spare.

23/06/2025: We were there for a party but I was able to verify that there are many parking spaces, entering the lawn we also find comfortable outdoor armchairs, inside the room we were in the cool and we enjoyed the dishes served. Well done I will return

22/06/2025: I've been with my relatives but the food wasn't always very good, the waiting time is centuries old and the environment is quite nice but not clean. Very high prices. I don't recommend it

08/08/2025: My go-to restaurant every summer, here I find only the best: the freshest fish and perfectly cooked meats. The staff is always extremely kind and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The chef is attentive to every need, even for the most sophisticated diners. The atmosphere is homey, ideal for enjoying fresh, authentic flavors. The quality-price ratio is more than fair: I'm happy with every euro. It's my special place, even for takeout.

16/07/2025: Don't try the carbonara it's only overcooked pasta with scrambled eggs and pepper. No meat no parseman nothing.

14/07/2025: I believe Bari is one of the best places in Italy for dining. This Osteria in particular offers excellent food. I ordered the Cavatelli ai frutti di mare (seafood skewers), and it was simply perfect. The pasta was perfect, the broth was incredibly flavorful, and everything was very fresh. The house wine is of very good quality. A bruschetta starter, the cavatelli primo, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water came to 20 euros, which was very affordable considering the quality of everything. In short, I recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.

20/08/2025: The orecchiette alla salentina were excellent, and the mixed fried fish was very tasty.

15/08/2025: We were served by the brunette waitress wearing dark glasses: rude, bored with her job, and offensively "sarcastic." The entire evening, we were afraid to even order a pizza and a Coke because they judged it to be our taste. We were reading the menus, and she practically snatched them from our hands and took them to another table without even asking "please," and the same thing happened with a bottle of water. After several insults disguised as irony, when we reached the cashier, at the checkout, they refused to let us pay separately, something unthinkable in 2025, especially for a table of 13. I'll end with one detail: when splitting the bill, they threw a calculator at us, saying, "You do it yourself." The only positive note was the pizza.

24/04/2025: Non sono abituato a scrivere una recensione di getto ma la pasta e patate con scampi appena servita è da urlo. Con quella nota piccante c he non sovrasta assolutamente la comunione di sapori perfetta e piena di gusto con sapori autentici. L’antipasto molto buono ed una nota particolare sui crostoni alla cipolla. Trovato grazie ad un commento carpito sulla spiaggia. Da provare se si è in zona. Prezzi onesti per la qualità proposta. Servizio impeccabile.

23/02/2025: Una serie di errori e disattenzioni soprattutto sull’aspetto gluten free, ma anche nel servizio, tuttavia a parte alcuni dettagli dei piatti si mangia abbastanza bene, ma ci sono aspettative troppo alte.

02/08/2025: When I visit a place, I need to smell its aromas and flavors. Small local businesses are the best way to learn about the history of a short-chain product. Matteo, the owner of Mare e Monti, researches and offers a carefully selected selection of cheeses, stretching as far as the Daunia mountains, touching the Umbrian forest, or even just a few meters from his restaurant. He sifts through small dairies with one common denominator: white gold; milk that tastes of fresh forage, wild orchids, and wild herbs with their different flavors. The plating is simple, but with hazelnuts and almonds as a side dish. The platter of cured meats? Another journey to a land that breathes salt and tastes of the sea, artisanal Orsara prosciutto, capocollo, duck, lard, and salami, all absolutely amazing, and accompanied like in the best fairy tales, by a narrator who is never pedantic but rather in love with goodness and the right valorization of the territory. I tried the grilled lamb accompanied by a combination that surprised me: the zazziki sauce, simply divine and definitely worth the trip. Excellent value for money, as is their pizza, which they have always made (a family business). If you are looking for a "sweater-on-your-neck" fresh air even in August, climb up from Manfredonia to the mountain hamlet, take a deep breath... feel the rosemary creep into your mind, like the Mediterranean scrub that is predominant. Well done, the beer is another noteworthy selection. Keep up the good work, see you on the next trip.

18/08/2025: Disappointing food! We ordered the shrimp tartare and couldn’t even finish it - tasted like cat food. Also got 2 pastas and quite disappointed with the flavours - very bland. Also quite expensive.

14/08/2025: Terrible quality of food and serving on broken plates. Terrible. Waiter who does not know Italian and English. Terrible service. Place for tourists. Beautiful point right at the entrance to the arch. It's a pity to ruin such places.

10/08/2025: Terrible peppered mussels, not to mention the quality of the mussels; we repeatedly found broken mussel shells in our mouths. I can't justify the price of the first courses: €20 a portion! I'd gladly pay that, but for a memorable dish. Moral of the story? There were three of us: €120 for a central peppered mussel dish, three first courses, two waters, and their cheapest bottle of wine. At the cashier, they didn't even bother to ask if everything was okay; We paid and said goodbye. I don't think they'll ever see us again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

29/08/2025: Really nice and charming place, free parking is quite large, really super, super, nice and efficient staff starting from the owner who gave us lots of travel tips, being out of the area, really delicious appetizers of excellent quality, especially the prosciutto and very abundant, the best pittule we ate in Puglia, definitely, fresh and crispy bread.. We ordered a slice of Parma ham, the bruschetta that had aubergines on top which were really delicious, a mixed fried dish, a truly sublime basil and prawn risotto, a slice of meat and the typical bombette.. What can I say, nothing was left over and the bill was just €100 including the two beers, the two bottles of water and the cover charge

20/08/2025: A group of eight ordered eight pizzas. Six were served at once, one after 15 minutes, the last one when everyone else had finished. The waiter replied, "It's not my fault, I just brought it." When paying the bill, we pointed out the poor service, not even a word of apology: "Oven clogged," "You all ordered different pizzas." It was probably our fault. A simple statement like, "Sorry, we made a mistake, you'll see, it won't happen next time," would have been enough, and perhaps there would have been a "next time." Which there certainly won't be.

27/06/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant. For us it was an unforgettable experience. We had raw fish and lobster with troccoli cooked in a SPECTACULAR way. Everything was very fresh, the service (a team of young, smart and kind guys) was impeccable... truly a beautiful experience
