21/04/2025: We often have lunch or dinner at Al Volo which we have been frequenting for years. We have always had a great time offering excellent fish dishes such as the first courses, the tuna steak, the fried dishes, the appetizers including polenta with octopus and the au gratin tray. The pizza is also excellent. There is no shortage of good wine

Each bite was a little journey into the heart of Italian tradition, with that special touch that makes the difference. A place where you can breathe passion and quality. 20/05/2025: I hadn't been back for a few years due to a negative experience. But nothing has changed. 0-star dishes: bland pizza with literally rancid mushroom-shaped aubergines. I didn't understand if they were the aubergines or the courgettes but they were just like "waste bin". I preferred to keep quiet to avoid tension because I don't want to turn my lunch break into stress. Anyway, 20 euros for a pizza (highly discouraged) beer, coffee. Price above average, quality seriously below average.

26/04/2025: Locale direttamente sul lago, peccato però che dall'interno non tutti i tavoli hanno la possibilità di godersi del panorama..piatti ben cucinato con l'utilizzo di una buona materia prima..servizio super attento al cliente..rapporto qualità prezzo leggermente sbilanciato verso l'alto....consigliato.

22/05/2025: We recently tried this restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. The environment is modern, well-kept and clean. The staff is very kind. The menu is extensive, good raw materials and nice combinations. The portions are generous. Right value for money. Strategic location, between Loreto and the Central Station. We will definitely be back. I would only recommend investing in some sound-absorbing material, because when the tables were almost all full, the noise started to get a little annoying.

20/05/2025: The service is good everyone is very nice and the restaurant is very pretty. However, the Milanesa was the worst milanesa I have ever had. It had no flavor at all. The orange risotto on the other hand was pretty good.

21/05/2025: Excellent dinner, I recommend the raw/hot fish appetizers. Excellent dish: linguine with sea urchins and bottarga. Good choice of wines. Impeccable service.

14/04/2025: Conosco il posto da mezzo secolo e sono sempre stato molto bene. Ambiente tranquillo ed elegante. Ottimo qualunque piatto venga scelto. Rapporto qualita' - prezzo coerente con quanto viene servito.

17/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per un pranzo di lavoro e ci siamo trovati molto bene, il locale è carino con un servizio puntuale e Cortese. Abbiamo provato per antipasto un buon salame cremonese e come portata principale dei classici tortelli cremaschi e un polipo arrosto entrambi molto buoni. A74

13/04/2025: Ristorante molto elegante con un servizio eccezionale ed eccezionalmente simpatico. I tortelli tipici sono un’esperienza mistica e consiglio anche il ganascino, molto morbido. Eccezionali anche i dolci, in particolare la mousse di cioccolato (9€). Ottima e precisa scelta dei vini al calice. Un’esperienza consigliata e da ripetere

19/05/2025: The food was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the experience was soured by the attitude we received when asking about a charge on our bill — the “coperto.” When I politely asked about it, the man at the register responded with a condescending tone, asking if I had ever been to Italy before and telling me it’s normal. I wasn’t disputing the charge, I just wanted to understand what it was. I had just come from another restaurant about 10 feet away where I had a few drinks and wasn’t charged anything like that. It’s not about the 4 Euros — it’s about the principle. Restaurants shouldn’t expect tourists to blindly pay fees without explanation, and certainly not treat them poorly when they ask questions. Extremely poor way of handling a simple inquiry. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with just as good food and much better customer service. I’ve attached a photo for context. I’d recommend trying other spots nearby instead.

17/05/2025: Excellent pizza and great service. Prices are reasonable. After four restaurant visits in the canal district, this is our favorite.

31/05/2025: The food in this restaurant is very tasty, we tried pasta, seafood and grilled vegetables. Everything is very fresh, also the waiters are very friendly and ready to help you. The drinks are also tasty, so if you come to Como and want to eat deliciously, come here!
