11/10/2025: The food is okay. There were three of us, and they don't bring our plates at the same time... You always have to wait for your food, dessert... We finished eating, and the waiters weren't there. We waited over half an hour, and when someone finally came, we couldn't get the dessert we wanted because the cook had already left. It's normal with that wait time. I don't recommend it. I couldn't get into the girls' restroom; some customers were laughing inside for over 20 minutes.

09/10/2025: The service was impeccable, accommodating, and friendly. The meals, however, were mediocre, if not excellent.

09/11/2025: I'd been years ago and remembered it being excellent. This time, I can say it was good. Traditional Milanese dishes. Excellent location on the Naviglio Grande.

09/11/2025: We were browsing for dinner while visitng the Naviglio Canal City Walk when we found Posto di Conversazione. We saw reviews of this location being known for it's Milanese dishes so we gave it a try. We ordered the meatballs, Tagliatelle con Ragu and Risotto alla Milanese con Vitello (veal). Finished with tiramisu and hazelnut creme brulee. Ambience inside the restaurant is nice. Waiter spoke English which helped us. Food was tasty

13/10/2025: Excellent pizza. Good restaurant, well-cooked food. The place was recently renovated, nice but a little cold in its decor, but still quiet and pleasant. Recommended.

31/08/2025: Excellent food, carefully prepared but quickly; despite the restaurant being fully booked both inside and out, the service was prompt, precise, and courteous. We also appreciated the very quiet and understated atmosphere. Having enjoyed the appetizer, first course, and second course, we will definitely return, not only for the excellent cuisine but also to try the pizzas, which looked and smelled truly inviting!

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but as soon as we entered, the decor, lighting, table layout, and location details convinced us of the wisdom of our choice, which was later confirmed by the owner's courtesy, the professionalism of the staff, and the excellent delicacies coming out of the kitchen. The restaurant, while not large, still ensures privacy for diners, and the warm atmosphere immediately makes patrons feel convivial. The classically correct table setting featured a fish knife, not always present in restaurants of this type, and the glasses were engraved with a very subtle and elegant festoon decoration that gave a retro feel and an invitation to bubbles. We enjoyed this "gastronomic jewel" so much that we returned a second time that same week; the menu, written in cursive on a notepad, was intriguing and charming, and the wine list was thoughtful and inspiring. Among the appetizers, we enjoyed the raw seafood, excellent in quality and variety; the tempura shrimp were well-cooked and plump; and the octopus with peaches, truly astonishing in its harmonious flavors. The second time, we had whitebait with oil and lemon, a simple treat for the palate, and gratinated scallops, a classic that is unforgettable. Among the first courses, the bucatini with tuna carbonara fully met our expectations and our taste buds. Next, we tried monkfish parmigiana, very harmonious and delicate, and the sea bass fillet with potatoes and olives, flavorful and very pleasant. The second time, we had millefeuille of meagre fish with artichokes (a must!!) and the roasted cuttlefish with yellow tomato puree, well-cooked and tender. To finish, we had a Sicilian cannolo filled to order, an apple parcel with ice cream, and a babà. N.B.: This restaurant has a dessert trolley that is brought to your table... listen up!! listen up!! 27/10/2025: La Mimosa is truly a pleasant discovery in Gallarate. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by pleasant jazz music, creates the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner. The quality of the dishes is excellent, carefully crafted and in keeping with the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine, with great attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; special thanks to Matteo, always available and ready to offer recommendations from the extensive wine list. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and I've always had a great experience. I find it harder to find satisfaction here, where you get to see people reinventing themselves, changing, and taking on new challenges, than it is to evaluate a place you've only been to once (it's a hit or miss). Congratulations to all of you at La Mimosa for the passion and care you always put into it, and for your desire to always offer your customers something new and special.

18/11/2025: I can say that it was one of the friendliest restaurants, very nicely organized without wifi to be able to indicate that contemporary air when people talked and interacted with each other, we enjoyed the food and the good mood. The staff is very prepared, they speak 4 languages, the menu is small and very accessible with quality and fresh products. For 2 adults and 1 child with a drink each and a menu plus dessert we paid 105 euros. It's worth it! I highly recommend it, the food was delicious.
