27/10/2025: La Mimosa is truly a pleasant discovery in Gallarate. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by pleasant jazz music, creates the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner.
The quality of the dishes is excellent, carefully crafted and in keeping with the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine, with great attention to detail.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming; special thanks to Matteo, always available and ready to offer recommendations from the extensive wine list.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends.
Highly recommended!

18/12/2025: I returned to eat here last week after a few months, and the experience was very disappointing. The quality is significantly lower than a few months ago, perhaps even compared to this summer. The food is mediocre and poorly prepared, but the real problem is the service.
Rude staff, often absent from the dining room, and inattentive to customers.
Long wait times and a total lack of professionalism.
A place that has lost quality in just a few months. It's hard to recommend it in its current state. 🤷♂️
29/11/2025: Lovely place, but poorly heated (17.3°C), with one person taking care of everything, from welcoming guests to serving tables, etc. The food was good, but some of the ingredients were missing (cheese in the tagliolini). Overall, disappointing compared to the bill.

I wasn't thrilled with the menu; I was hoping for better, but the pizza might be good; I haven't tried it!
It's fine for a lunch break, without too many expectations.
The young people serving tables are excellent.

The atmosphere is formal and relaxed, the service is quick, and both the owner and the waitresses are very courteous and professional. I don't understand people who write haphazard reviews just for the sake of writing them. Ultimately, the food is good and the drinks are even better. And the place is always busy. See you next time 😉

24/11/2025: I booked this restaurant that evening and was pleasantly surprised. It stands out for its sprawling location, consisting of two adjacent rooms. The room where I dined was elegantly furnished and tastefully decorated. The service was highly professional. The dishes were generous but well-organized, and well-priced. I recommend the fried lake fish.

15/01/2026: I often order pizza delivery, but calling is nearly impossible. For this reason, one evening (around 6:45 PM) I decided to stop by to order in person. The owner was sitting in a corner, always on the phone, and didn't even look at me. He simply told me the pizzeria opened at 7 PM and that I'd have to wait. Luckily, my order was taken by a young, very kind and helpful woman, who saved the day.
The pizza is good, but the service really leaves a lot to be desired.
17/12/2025: I ate very well, with quality local produce.
The cassoncelli were indescribable.
The staff were incredibly kind... Unfortunately, we were 20 minutes late due to weather and parking... But despite that, they greeted us with a smile and didn't say a word.
The pizza was light and very well made, the waitress was attentive and attentive.
Finally, a place with soul, not a carbon copy.
We'll be back soon.

A wonderful experience to share with friends and children. I recommend it for anyone looking to spend some time enjoying good food and having fun with the kids.

Prices are high; children's menu €9.90, pizzas from €10 and up. For four of us, we spent €85 for two pizzas with water and two children's menus.

I had one negative experience during my visit: we had to wait much longer than expected without any warning, and the staff was a bit rude when we asked for clarification. This somewhat detracted from the experience, because even though the food was good, the wait and the staff's attitude made customers feel neglected.
Overall, a good pizzeria for a quick meal, but there's room for improvement in service and organization.
25/12/2025: Everything was delicious, fresh fish, and generous portions. What's even more remarkable is Tommaso and Sergio's courtesy and smile.

01/01/2026: We went on December 25th for Christmas lunch. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt, considering the number of guests that day. The food was truly well-prepared and delicious.
The only issue for us was the location where we were seated, near a rock face (?). It was really cold, and the heating, which was present in the two main rooms, wasn't working. A real shame.
The price was reasonable for the quality and service.
