22/07/2025: Amazing food. This was our last dinner in Italy before going back to the US. Across the street from our apartment. The service was wonderful, the food delicious, the portions were big and the price was just right. Highly recommend. Ciao Milano!

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

03/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was! As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!

14/10/2025: Mediocre Overall Impression Let's start with the positives. The restrooms were clean, the portion sizes were perfectly fine, and my friend was very happy with his pizza. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. The food was served at different times, so we had to eat separately. It wasn't very busy when we were there. My friend was almost finished with his pizza when my primi piatti finally arrived. Furthermore, his knife was so blunt that he couldn't even begin to cut his pizza. On top of that, my meat for the secondi piatti was only lukewarm when it was served and completely cold by the end. And to top it all off, the service was very poor. The waiter noticed that the table was shaking enormously as he led us to the table, but sat us down anyway and did nothing. The waitress who came later started taking our order, even though I was clearly not finished choosing. She later placed the bread without any eye contact or a "please" or "prego." ``` Individual errors and problems can never be ruled out. Overall, however, it wasn't enough for me to have a positive overall impression.

The gentleman on the phone wasn't very polite; he actually seemed annoyed, but when we actually arrived at the restaurant, things were completely different. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had spaghetti with clams, and I have to say, it was the best I've ever had. My girlfriend had tagliolini with vegetables, and I have to say, they were delicious too. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake with a soft center, and it was truly sublime. I think I'll dream about it tonight. Highly recommended. The restaurant's atmosphere was also spectacular, a perfect blend of sophisticated elegance and a homey feel. Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars, and I'd give more if I could.

My "pasta with potatoes and provola" was a true return to the past; to those authentic, home-cooked flavors that only grandmothers could give you. Not to mention the amatriciana or tiramisu... An experience of traditional flavors that the chef masterfully and professionally enhanced. I will definitely return to this Neapolitan experience in Montichiari.

07/09/2025: We did a walk from punta gro to Desenzano and popped in for a drink on the way back. Good service and nice cold drinks in glasses. Looking at the bar next door similar prices but they are self service and plastic glasses.

On Sunday evening, however, as soon as I finished eating the pizza, which I had eaten in a short time, they started clearing the table next door and wanted my table to add to the other two to make a table for six... and the waitress told me she had to leave the table free, since we had finished our drinks a minute or so ago... I think we could have a nice chat, and I pointed this out to her... I found it rather unfair, given that when they gave me the table, they didn't tell me it was reserved for eight. I'd been there for about 50 minutes, not two hours. I don't think I'll go again.

19/08/2025: The apartment we stayed in is large and spacious, with a large bedroom with a double bed, an adjoining room that serves as a living room, and a very well-equipped kitchen, all impeccably maintained. The breakfasts are generous, with pies and other dishes made in Mzuson; a delight. We also had lunch, and again, nothing to complain about; everything was there: presentation, quality, and flavor. In short, a perfect welcome, a friendly, family atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. Thank you for this warm welcome.
