08/10/2025: Found this little gem after the original seafood restaurant I was planning on dining at was booked until November! Nevertheless this place is a gem away from the touristy restaurants around the Duomo. Food and wine fairly priced, with soft lighting atmosphere great for a romantic dinner! Oh, and our fish dishes were Superb!!!

22/10/2025: Super pizza! The Caesar salad was very well prepared and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

19/10/2025: We booked at 9:15, and the table was delivered at 9:45. We finally ordered, and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to receive two pizzas and three slices. I'm giving it two stars only because we were offered dessert; otherwise, it would have been zero stars.

04/02/2026: We went to this restaurant, which was on our list, without a reservation. The waiter said that a few empty tables were actually reserved for an hour later, but they would accept us until then. About 10-15 minutes after taking our order, these delicious pastas were at our table. The portions were much larger than we expected. We wanted to order two different pastas just because we were curious about both. You would normally have trouble finishing one plate of pasta. We especially loved the penne with Oscar sauce. It was so delicious and light that we would order it again if we went back. We paid 28 euros for the two pastas and an additional 3 euros for the coverto fee.

01/02/2026: unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience. The lasagna was terrible—the top layer was brown and hard like a rock, as if it was the last portion left. The steak was so-so, and the potatoes tasted like they were from the day before, very oily and not fresh. Overall, I was disappointed with the food.

31/01/2026: We organized my daughter's 18th birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food delicious! Everyone was very helpful and made everything we needed! Marcolino's service in particular made the difference. He's a special person!

13/01/2026: Worth trying... The food isn't halal, but you can order seafood, vegetable, and Margherita pasta. The price is reasonable and better compared to Milan Centre.

01/02/2026: My experience was quite mixed: on the one hand, the waiters were really kind and attentive, but on the other, it wasn't exactly a great experience because the Picanha was inedible. Completely greasy and full of sinew, it was truly uneatable. The appetizer tartare was good and prepared in front of you by a truly professional and super kind waiter, and the tiramisu was no tiramisu. Even though my dish was taken away by another waiter to whom I hadn't said anything, the waiter who had served us came to me to ask if the meat was good (he had certainly been warned), a sign of great professionalism. And when I answered directly, he confirmed that they had purchased the wrong cut (which is understandable). The only exception is that there's no formal communication with the owner or manager, because in a situation like this you have to offer at least another main course or at least a dessert, not a coffee, which I obviously declined for personal reasons. The restaurant is very large, and I'm sorry for this negative experience, considering it's a nice restaurant.

26/01/2026: A pizza costing a whopping €15. I expected something better than one that seems frozen, burnt, and flavorless. The 4 cheese has no taste whatsoever! I gave it one star because I couldn't give it 0. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED, SKY-HIGH PRICES AND LOW-QUALITY FOOD! DISAPPOINTMENT! We'll have to go to Mc Donald's with €150 spent for nothing!

20/12/2025: Unfortunately, I'm forced to leave a negative review. I tried calling several times to book Christmas lunch for nine people, but no one ever answered. I then contacted the restaurant on WhatsApp to inquire about availability and the Christmas menu, but received no response. After several days, I contacted them again and was told they were busy and the Christmas menu wasn't yet available. Given the lack of communication and feedback, the experience was disappointing from the moment I booked.

16/09/2025: Great place, excellent tasting menu. Impeccable service, friendly and professional waitress. We'll be back.

05/01/2026: We already knew the restaurant was a guarantee. Yesterday we returned for dinner after a while and were truly thrilled. Excellent and attentive service, meticulously plated first courses, and a truly delicious pizza. Recommended in every way.

02/01/2026: We've been here twice for lunch during visits to a local healthcare facility. The atmosphere is very refined and welcoming, the staff is distinguished by their kindness and expertise, and the food is excellent, presented in a way that pleases the eye even before it pleases the palate. The menu offers a wide selection, including daily specials. We particularly enjoyed the fish dishes—both appetizers and first and second courses. At lunchtime, there's also a fixed-price option, which we didn't take advantage of. The bill is certainly not cheap, but considering the overall quality of the offerings, it's reasonable. And, something quite rare for me these days, you leave the restaurant feeling completely satisfied with your money.

16/01/2026: Restaurant in the Isola area of ​​Milan, terrible value for money, inedible spaghetti with clams, soft and black mixed fried food, definitely fried with overused oil. Paella clearly reheated, and overheated; the rice was burnt. We had dinner with a group and everyone left really angry. We spent a lot and ate terribly. Never again.

19/01/2026: A truly awful experience at Il Bruco restaurant, especially due to the embarrassingly small portions. We were treated as if every gram of food were gold. A sandwich each, tiny, without any care or abundance, completely insufficient and disproportionate to the price. The Spritz was served in a glass only half-filled, including ice. We essentially paid for a glass of ice with a little liquid around it: a truly disheartening and disrespectful scene. The mixed grill was the icing on the cake: extremely expensive and shockingly small, with ridiculous portions that didn't even begin to justify the cost. This isn't gourmet cuisine, but pure frugality bordering on the ridiculous. As if that weren't enough, there were three of us, and none of our dishes arrived at the same time, forcing us to eat separately, with no attention paid to the service. In short: a place that's stingy to the point of excess, high prices, microscopic portions, and disorganized service. An experience to avoid. For three: four Aperols, one water, an octopus appetizer, one spaghetti with clams, and a mixed grill for one: €56 each.

14/01/2026: The veranda overlooking Iseo's lakefront is truly charming! I tried the Mari e Monti pizza and was thrilled. It's a truly gourmet pizza: the combination of seafood and land is perfectly balanced, and the high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. The dough is light and easy to digest, a sign of impeccable leavening. A taste experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for something above average.

20/01/2026: This is a restaurant I visited with my family. It's near the Duomo, making it a great stop after sightseeing. Most importantly, the food is delicious, and I highly recommend it. The meat and seafood pastas are excellent. (Important) Koreans might find it a bit salty, so ask for a little salt when ordering!

19/01/2026: I visited the restaurant with my family of four, and this is my second time. The pizza is excellent, and so is the steak. They have a special sauce mix that goes with it; it's absolutely amazing! And don't forget to order the lasagna; it's also fantastic!

10/01/2026: 50 minutes for bigoli... People arrived after us and were served the exact same bigoli I'd ordered. WAKE UP! I'M ITALIAN AND DON'T BRING ME RAW PASTA!!

05/01/2026: 10/10 This place is truly enchanting and magical. It's perfect for lunch or dinner! The view is breathtaking. The dishes are truly delicious, as well as beautiful to look at! The friendliness and helpfulness of the waiters is beyond reproach, especially since they were attentive to our needs, such as my boyfriend's lactose intolerance and the tomatoes for me. Not to mention the desserts, which I think are superb!! They deserve more than 10 stars; try them and believe it! I recommend coming around mid-spring or even summer to enjoy this wonderful place. We promise we'll be back again!!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated, the kind of place where you want to linger and enjoy your time without rushing. The staff is truly gracious: smiling, attentive, and always available, they make you feel welcomed and at home. The food was a wonderful surprise: excellent quality dishes, carefully prepared, with ingredients that taste fresh and well-chosen. You can sense their passion for cooking and their desire to make everyone feel good. A very pleasant experience, one that leaves you wanting to return. Highly recommended.

11/01/2026: Epic fail. Eating bad pasta in an Italian restaurant in Italy feels either like a "sin" or in this case a very deliberate choice. And I think it was deliberate because we felt something off since the first moment: the place was almost empty, all tourists and us and we were with friends from abroad. This is what happened. As an Italian living abroad and coming back for Christmas, I had one simple wish: a good pasta. Nothing fancy, nothing experimental. Just pasta. The pasta was bland. In Italy? Come on. Everything else followed suit, just as some other reviews have already noted. We confirm. It’s like they make it on purpose. The fish arrived still partially frozen, other dishes lacked salt, and the sauces tasted spoiled. Every course felt off. We appreciated the warm bread and the bruschetta (nice touch), but it only highlighted the poor quality of the dishes. With a bill over €40 per person (wine excluded), we can’t just stay silent... And I still can’t understand how something so basic can turn out so insipid in Italy. From the first minute, we had the feeling that, because we ordered “only” three dishes — even though they were among the most expensive on the menu — it was assumed we wouldn’t spend much. From then on, the care seemed to defrost at the same speed as the fish. The pressure to upsell and the subtle reactions about the fish of the day (off-menu prices) gave us a warning vibe. So we limited our order to avoid surprises, being almost the only customers that night, caught in a push to sell — not a good feeling in a fish restaurant. After that, the courses were so incredibly off that we skipped coffee and dessert and just wanted to go home. Either the many positive reviews come from non-Italian diners who have never had proper pasta, or we were exceptionally unlucky, or the restaurant just didn’t fancy us. When every dish shows the same issues (poorly defrosted fish, no seasoning, and off flavors) it’s hard to call it bad luck though. One starts calling it a pattern or something else... The staff was polite, and I write this with a smile, not anger. But mistakes this consistent across all courses are impossible to ignore. We endured the half-hearted (and half-defrosted) appetizer, but the main courses left us at a loss for words. A deeply disappointing and, honestly, sa experience because we love these kind of restaurants, and since we are your neighbors (though you might have thought we were tourists) we thought we would go back. Considering the inexplicable 4.3 rating, we felt safe… until the first bite. Epic fail. And if it’s because we were not welcomed: well, at least now we know… message received.

23/12/2025: Very bad restaurant ! Run away. We took a fried steak for 25euros without any salad or fries, then fries were extra for 7euros. Sea food pasta were also without shrimps and enough sea food and it’s a expensive for the quality ! There is a near restaurant called THE KITCHEN which is not far from that one with excellent prices ! Very very very bad experience and the smell is so bad in the restaurant.
