31/10/2025: Disappointing experience.
We went to La Villetta restaurant on Saturday at noon and had a truly terrible meal. We ordered polenta with braised beef, the dish of the day, but the meat was all fatty and almost inedible: we left most of it behind. When we pointed this out, they told us it was priest's hat... but to us it looked more like scraps of meat.
We also had tiramisu, but it was awful, flavorless, and had a questionable consistency.
We will never return.

27/10/2025: Unfortunately, the prices have become exorbitantly high and the quantities truly miniscule. The fish is of good quality, but the cost of a dinner is comparable to that of Dav (Da Vittorio), but neither the service, nor the quantities, nor the location are comparable.

We went because it was close to the hotel where we were staying, but we were pleasantly surprised.
As soon as we arrived, they asked us if we had a reservation, which we hadn't... But they made room for us right away to have dinner. And thank goodness, because they had the ENTIRE restaurant booked.
I had the best pasta in all of Milan, definitely my favorite, and it was a great price.
17/10/2025: It was full, but they quickly found us a spot. The staff was super efficient. The pizzas and apple pie were delicious. The prices were more than reasonable.

04/11/2025: I would go back to Milan just to try this restaurant again. Fantastic seafood. had the octopus appetizer, spaghetti alle vongole, branzino, and calamari. Just delightful. if 7 stars is a thing, would assign that to this place.

22/11/2025: It was recommended to us by a dear girl... we, coming from about 400 km away and never met before, were welcomed like close relatives and pampered with courtesy and elegance... but above all, our taste buds and smells were pampered, spoiled, and fully satisfied... along with our other senses. Visions, scents, warmth.
As soon as I pass through Brescia, I'll do another Tappa... extended!

06/11/2025: Now a regular stop for every important family event. The owners and staff are kind, courteous, and helpful. And, importantly, excellent value, which isn't always a given these days. Highly recommended.
03/11/2025: I've been there before and had a great time, but tonight everything went horribly wrong. The service was incredibly slow. The dishes were served at different times (there were only three of us at the table), and the house appetizer (seafood) had a spoiled seafood salad (which was sent back and replaced). I hate to give this review, but tonight was really bad.

However, despite numerous attempts to contact me by phone and the intervention of my credit card concierge, I've never been able to get a response. I find it surprising and disappointing that a restaurant in 2025 is completely unreachable. I understand how certain restaurants might want to nurture their clientele by favoring regulars, but if that's your intention, at least have the tact to remove your phone number.
