25/08/2024: I have been here with friends to celebrate the August 15th since 2019 and every year I come thanks to Claudio Ortis and Franco who told me they knew a fish restaurant in Alpago so off we went and with great surprise I found a friend, after 40 years, from college on the left, Giorgio, and fellow soldier in the Lagoon on the S, Andrea, the Marino from s, Erasmo, father of the owner, the chef Mattia is great!!! Well eaten by God, on a cool terrace with a view of the lake and mountains. We talked and laughed with Marino about the old past, praised the good Mattia, the 2 scrupulous, professional and polite young waiters!!! Having said that, you have to come and try it and then you will realize that the fish is also good in Pieve in Alpago!!! Bye Marino and all your staff see you next time!!! Truly recommended!!! Keep it up!!! And w El old Leon!!!!!!!

12/06/2024: Unfortunately we are not there, good dishes are not enough if the service is lacking. I went for lunch today with my mother, there is a working lunch from 12pm to 2pm, but the traditional à la carte menu is also available. I choose sea bream in salt and the waitress warns me that it will take at least 30 minutes to wait for cooking. No problem, he suggests if we want to grab something while we wait and I opt for a seafood salad to share. The fish will arrive about 40 minutes later, without any side dish. Obviously I don't pretend to have a free side dish, but since the description on the menu is rather ambiguous given that it talks about sea bream in salt or Mediterranean style with olives and potatoes and one might perhaps think that the potatoes are also with the sea bream in salt... It would be nice that at least the waitress suggested a side dish. But again, no problem. Despite the long wait we also decide to have two different desserts to end the meal but after 15 minutes of waiting we decide to leave. The waitress stops us saying that they were about to be served and that as they were done at the moment it was normal to wait. Maybe it will be normal for her to wait an hour and 45 minutes to have lunch, but for me it isn't. Furthermore, I have some doubts that the meringue and cheesecake are made freshly. If they are, it's crazy. I will limit myself to giving two suggestions: if during the lunch period you cannot manage a menu other than the lunch one, do not offer the à la carte menu. Second tip: if you have a room with 60 seats occupied, it is difficult to think that two waitresses alone can manage 30 seats each. Last note, certainly the most annoying: at the checkout I was told 90 euros but with the 85 discount for the mix-up with the desserts, however I was not given a receipt. I didn't say anything because I won't go back, but if for a moment you thought I was stupid, well, I'm not. However, if the receipt was duly issued and it was accidentally not delivered to me, please let me know and I will come and collect it in person, obviously with the date and time of today at lunch.

01/09/2024: Very nice and quaint place!! The best thing is that being a fishmonger you eat fresh fish and above all you can choose what you want to eat directly from the counter! I recommend it, also suitable for families with children as they have high chairs and provide pasta with sauce or alternatively plain pasta for them!

12/07/2024: This place was an absolute save for our group, as we were temporarily in the Malpensa airport area and wanted to look for a good Italian place to eat dinner at. You must show up early or you will end up waiting as this place gets busy very quickly with many other customers in the evening. We ordered the pasta con vongole, pasta carbonara, pizze (diavolo, 4 formaggi, crudo), pasta bolognese, and tiramisu. The bolognese was easily one of the best I’ve had compared to many Italian restaurants back home. The waiters were quite busy but did their best to accomodate for us and one of our dishes took significantly long to get served. Overall I enjoyed eating here and this place lives up to its reputation. Grazie mille! - un viaggiatore dalla NZ

19/08/2024: Fantastic dinner. Very fresh fish and menus with very interesting and unique proposals in these areas. Very attentive service, attention to the customer and to details. The waiter carefully explained each dish to us as well as the attention that the restaurant pays in choosing the raw materials. Highly recommended.

28/07/2024: Con dei clienti che volevano mangiare in un locale chic, decido di portali in questo noto ristorante di Cesano, molti anni fa anche pizzeria.Il locale si presenta bene e si respira un po' l'aria di quelli che vogliono sembrare. Ci sta e noto anche per i prezzi sopra la media. E ci sta pure questo se mangi piatti di pesce di alto livello. Io in questo non lo discuto mai. La qualità si paga, giustamente. Ecco e proprio qui che casca l'asino, come si dice. Antipasto di pesce che non valeva il prezzo, tanta presentazione ma nulla di entusiasmante , così pure nero primo piatto e nei secondi. Certo si vuole fare scena nel servizio , ma non rispetta il prezzo pagato. In tre più di trecento euro. No. Cominciamo a mettere i puntini sulla i, come si dice. Non e il locale che serve il cibo più genuino a Cesano . C'è ne sono altri. Il pesce e sicuramente fresco, ma i piatti finali non meritano un prezzo così. I miei clienti visto il prezzo sono rimasti delusi. Sono quei locali che in apparenza vogliono sembrare, ma.....peccato.

01/09/2024: Odd but excellent mix of traditional food (food fire pizza and artisan pasta) and freshest seafood you can wish for. Great cooked and raw seafood appetisers. Efficient yet friendly service in an otherwise very bis venue.

19/02/2024: CLOSED I'm sorry to give 1 star because I haven't been there but it's unacceptable that they didn't inform customers of the restaurant's closure I called two weeks ago to book. Two days before, I called to ask for confirmation of the booking and was told that the restaurant was closed due to a corporate change/renovation. It would be a good idea to enter this information on Google or social networks.

03/08/2024: Clearly overrated. The served starters (tartar and sashimi) were warm and must have been outside the fridge for a while before served. When telling the waiter the only reaction was “oh, is it?” - clearly no one cares. Also the service is very poor and the advise on wine selection without any actual knowledge. This place needs to make significant improvements.

05/08/2024: Perfect! If you are looking for a place to have a tasty and filling meal, I definitely recommend it. Portions are large, prices are reasonable. Affigean steak, the child also liked the pizza very much 🥰 Very tasty! ❤

25/08/2024: Beautiful setting, food presentation was very good but several of us found our meals extremely salty, looked better than it tasted. We arrived around seven thirty, party of seven and were accommodated without a reservation. By the end of our meal it was very busy and the service staff was overworked.

23/08/2024: In barca con 2 amici a pranzo poichè hanno il pontile di fronte. Location invidiabile con balcone sul lago e tutto molto pulito. Accoglienza sin dall'attracco molte cortese, personale preparato sorridente competente ed accogliente. Il menù è da invidia avremmo preso tutta la degustazione ma ci siamo dati un ritegno. Cantina da tutto rispetto. Chef che dalla cucina esce e saluta. Conto coerente a quanto abbiamo mangiato e bevuto. Che dire.. Esperienza fantastica! Ci tornerò.

18/07/2024: Sono stata in questo ristorante per un pranzo con la famiglia ottimo il risotto al persico e lo scrigno... anche il fritto misto e l'insalata di mare... e poi i favolosi dolci fatti in casa..personale molto gentile e disponibile...tornerò ' di sicuro per provare le pizze. Prezzi ottimi e porzioni molto soddisfacenti lo consiglio vivamente a tutti
