21/09/2025: Everything was great, from the communication during the reservation, the service during dinner and the kindness of the staff. The food is for every recommendation, and the menu changes depending on the season. The menu is made up of typical dishes for that region. Parking is public in the nearby streets or in a public garage a few minutes walk away. Reservations are recommended. If you are in Trieste, definitely visit :)

15/09/2025: Very good and generous dishes. I tried the delicious pasta dishes: with mussels in white sauce and with anchovy pesto; excellent. Then the fried sardines...a very generous portion and excellent. The house white wine in a carafe...excellent. Overall, I recommend it.

06/09/2025: Found it by chance and it was a surprise. The owner, a waiter and dishwasher from Desio, is not only a good businessman but also an excellent cook. Recommended dishes?? ALL OF THEM!! The place needs a little more attention as it's starting to show its age, but otherwise highly recommended!!

25/08/2025: We were there a few weeks ago, a group of 14. We were amazed by the "Queen" table they set up! A baroque-style table with silver cutlery and a truly exquisite table setting! Impeccable service, standard wait times! Mediterranean cuisine with beautifully presented dishes! Overall, we had a great time! Stop going to the usual all-you-can-eat restaurants to gorge on defrosted fish! I'd rather pay 10 euros more and eat special dishes! We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: We ate very well, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. I ordered the six cold appetizers, and they were all excellent. My kids devoured the spaghetti with clams and bottarga in seconds. The portions were generous. The staff was really kind and attentive with their service. I highly recommend this place.

12/09/2025: Restaurant where I guess people from the area usually go with very fast service If you want to go quietly you have to go after two as most people go back to work They make typical homemade food that I would have liked to try any dish to taste it The place doesn't have many pretensions but is super correct. It's not very touristy. ---TO GO BACK ---

04/10/2025: Interesting decor and atmosphere. You're immersed in a bygone era. We were seated at a table and were assigned because we hadn't made a reservation. The owner was apparently sitting at a desk right next to us in the dining room, taking calls, processing bills, eating sandwiches, and looking at his Instagram. It's funny, aside from that, the menu is relatively small and manageable, with daily specials or fresh catch, but prices aren't communicated. The food overall was delicious. We had crab. We had fish marinated in onion and vinegar. However, I've had better versions. Overall, the food was okay, the accompanying wines were also very good, but overall, you could call the evening a success, not outstanding.

The raw fish was fresh and clean-tasting. The tagliolini were simply superb. The fried fish was well-prepared and varied. The garden inside is very charming and well-kept. 03/10/2025: If you like Italian pizza, like Napolitana or Sicilian, this is the place for you. The atmosphere isn't ideal. It's like a large hall, and most of the people who come, including the locals, spend a good quarter to twenty minutes there. We eat pizza and leave. The pizza is as described. It's not as crispy as you might expect from other pizzas. Of course, that also depends on the toppings.

01/10/2025: This was my first pizza in Italy, and I can say I wasn't disappointed—it was amazing! However, there must have been a mistake with my neighbor's pizza, which ruined the already rather unexciting atmosphere... The servers were unpleasant and didn't seem to appreciate tourists... That said, I repeat, the pizzas were excellent!

03/09/2025: I had tagliolini with prawns, thyme and courgettes: the prawns were of excellent quality, the courgettes were fine and the pasta was very good, the price was fair and the service was courteous, the atmosphere wasn't anything special but still nice.

28/08/2025: First-class fish restaurant! The oven-roasted brill is a culinary experience. The service is very friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality. We had a lovely evening here.
