08/12/2025: We found this typical Trieste trattoria by chance, but it exceeded our expectations. It's a well-kept, family-run place, with just a few tables and dishes served with love. The menu is mostly seafood. We tried the Jota, then I had the stew with polenta, which was excellent, and my companion had the grilled calamari. The dishes are prepared with care and passion.
Highly recommended!
08/12/2025: Comfortable place, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food, and a spectacular millefeuille. An experience I'll repeat if I ever return to Trieste!

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

14/10/2025: We had an amazing lunch here one Saturday afternoon quality was top notch, the service was professional and attentive, and the setting was just lovely. The seafood lasagna was a real stand out, although all the dishes were absolutely delicious.

05/09/2025: Very nice restaurant! 🥰 I've had calamari fritti in many places, but this is the best ever! I can only recommend it. We also had black mussels, which were also incredibly delicious. The lady is nice, lively, attentive, funny. We had a great time. If we are in Trieste again, we will definitely stop by here ❤️ I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
31/08/2025: Good service and good meal using fresh seafood. Just be aware, as others have said, that menu options change based on what fresh seafood is available that day, so not everything is on offer. (For example, in my case for a late-August dinner, I had to choose from 4 starters, 3 first courses, and 0 second courses.)

12/11/2025: Unassuming from the outside, a culinary gem inside. We've been there three times and were pleasantly surprised each time: outstanding food quality and flavorful preparation. Salads are always fresh and crisp; the fish is of excellent quality, perfectly cooked, and attractively presented. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: Very friendly waiter, unfortunately the kitchen was a complete failure. The tuna as a main course was meager and bad. The triamisu was also watery and old, oh dear, oh dear.
Completely forgot about the cold payta.
Years ago, it was completely different.
16/10/2025: Seafood was fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. Unfortunately, the mixed fish grill only had a small piece of fish, otherwise seafood.

09/06/2025: Als "Wiederholungstäter" wurden wir auch diesmal wieder nicht enttäuscht.
Schöne Terrasse, schönes Lokal, netter und zuvorkommender Service und last but not least viel Gutes aus dem Meer und aus dem Keller.
Wenn man in der Umgebung ist, unbedingt ausprobieren.
Die Preise sind übrigens der Qualität entsprechend.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen
Und alle Speisen die serviert wurden waren einfach fantastisch . Das Thunfisch Tatar einfach lecker . Aber auch die Hauptspeisen einfach ein Traum .Mir viel die Auswahl richtig schwer,weil alle Gerichte auf der Karte sehr verlockend klingen . Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall das Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten ,aber auch das Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder wenn wir in Muggia sind .
