20/04/2026: I ordered one of the most expensive pizzas, with burrata, extra Parmesan, etc., and was unfortunately very disappointed. The burrata was harder than the cheap mozzarella from the supermarket, and the pizza itself wasn't anything special.
The staff is very friendly and tries hard, hence the two stars.

12/04/2026: Highly recommended. The food and service were excellent. Beautiful location at the port of Muggia.
11/04/2026: The restaurant in Trieste is located on the outskirts, not directly in the city center.
The food is of excellent quality, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. Furthermore, the staff speaks good German.
Reservations are recommended, preferably via email!
Congratulations to the kitchen and service staff for their outstanding performance!

01/05/2026: We were there for lunch today, May 1st. We had a nice table, excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, we had a great time.
15/04/2026: Mediocre, it doesn't respect the ingredients on the menu. The risotto was missing scallops and the prawns only had scallops that weren't mentioned. However, having been born a sea fisherman, I reply that the scallops weren't there at all.

Seating is available outdoors, under the awning, and indoors. Professional and attentive staff. Excellent pizza.

07/04/2026: The food was quite good, but it's incomprehensible why, upon ordering, the menu price suddenly no longer applies and an additional €6 is charged with the explanation that "the fish is fresh." It's probably a tourist tax.

Truly delicious food, impeccable service. The menu is seafood-based. Very friendly service and fair prices. Recommended.

07/04/2026: Our last evening in Muggia was supposed to be unforgettable thanks to dinner at Mr. Renzo's recommended restaurant. Unfortunately, it won't be a positive memory. Mr. Renzo is domineering about what to eat, and if you disagree with him, you shouldn't be a guest at his restaurant. The food is mediocre and lackluster. The host's humor isn't for everyone. And refusing to give the bill and keeping guests waiting in the vestibule to pay is beyond criticism.
A complete disappointment, despite the pleasant decor.

15/12/2025: Believe me, the pizza at this place is extraordinary, sublime, superb. You can tell a good pizza just by looking at it... Number One's cooking method makes it the best pizza I've had in a while!!! Fresh ingredients, not too few, not too many. The perfect pizza. And not only that, but also the eggplant, the fried calamari... Enza the chef works magic with her hands, and Lina makes the restaurant a welcoming and family-friendly place. The sausage and broccoli rabe are just too much!
06/12/2025: Fabulous pizzeria! Among the delicious pizzas, I recommend the panuozzo. Try it and believe it. The owner, Mr. Ciccio, is great.

17/04/2026: Seafood restaurant. I was told they had spider crab (or granzievola as they say in Tergeste), although it cost me a fortune. The rest is basic but good. There are only a few tables, so reservations are recommended.

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

Location, setting, food, presentation, and the friendliness and kindness of the staff (a very important factor).
All the dishes were excellent, their quality and presentation, and the empathy of the waiter (alas, I don't remember his name) who recommended the traditional biscuits with Marsala wine to finish our meal.
This is a place where they make you feel at home, sitting at a table with friends.
My husband and I will definitely return to this wonderful place.
