10/05/2026: Unfortunately it is no longer the place it was until some time ago, empty place on Saturday at lunchtime, many things not available even though they were on the menu, friendly but inattentive service, quality that has dropped, sorry
03/05/2026: I went with my family at night for dinner. I ordered a plate that in the photos looked one way and when it came it looked like a completely different thing. But the worst part is that my mother ordered a plate of vegetables, because she is very allergic to all seafood, and the corn was rotten, the taste was sour and funny. When we told the waiter, he said he was going to bring another plate and never did.
One of the worst experiences in my life. I do not recommend going.

15/03/2026: We had dinner for the tasting menu featuring Rosa di Gorizia. The restaurant is retro yet elegant and welcoming. The menu was excellent and the wine pairings interesting. The service was attentive and attentive throughout the dinner, but never too intrusive.
Special mention goes to the dessert with its matching cocktail, a truly memorable finale. Congratulations!

30/09/2025: During the renovation we were given rooms on the top floor without a lift and still to be renovated under the roof not exactly a nice value to see living and above all paying other people on the lower floors everything was ok maybe we were the unlucky ones and in any case we were not warned of the differences in quality of the rooms by the manager

25/04/2026: Very nice location right on the sea with outdoor tables.
Food: bland and, above all, they lacked raw ingredients (just mussels, or almost).
The breaded sardines turned into mixed fried fish with shrimp, and the baked fish for two was just a portion.
Desserts..... No comment.
Not a good value for money.
Expensive for the quality.
Not recommended.

04/05/2026: Neither praise nor infamy, a touristy place with high prices. The service, in some ways, would discourage you from returning. They clear the table and put everything back on the tables inside, something I've never seen before. The food was average, nothing special.
02/05/2026: There were three of us—my pregnant sister, my mother, and I. They told us there was only one free table, otherwise we'd have to wait. We thought about it for a moment, then, considering how tired we were and how hungry we were (it was after 2:30 PM), we accepted. The lady told us we'd have to wait while they cleared all the tables. Meanwhile, two more tables became available, then three, then five. We asked if we could at least sit at one of the free tables. It was really hot, and we mentioned that there were two of us with big bellies. The annoyed lady told us categorically that we had to wait and turned her back on us. We waited at least half an hour, maybe longer. There was a ridiculous line after us. We went to the nearby bar and goodbye. I've never seen such rudeness. Probably because they have low ratings and reviews, they don't have much interest in improving their reputation. It's clear the customer counts for nothing.

10/05/2025: Tremendo. Potessi gli darei 0 stelle.
Prezzi super gonfiati per delle pietanze che di qualità potevo ricercare al supermercato . Non sto scherzando. Un'insalata dell' Lidl buttata dentro una ciotola direttamente dalla busta: non condita, con appena un po' di frutta secca. Buoni i gamberetti, ma seriamente 5 di numero x 15 euro? Per non parlare della paella. Mai neppure vista. Appena sedute (siamo arrivate alle 19:10), ci dicono che avremmo dovuto aspettare mezz'ora. E va bene. Aspettiamo aspettiamo e aspettiamo, e alle 20:30, chiediamo della pietanza per due e ci dicono che bisogna aspettare un'altra mezz'ora/40 Min. E il locale era pure semi vuoto. Ora capisco il perché. Ci siamo alzate e siamo andate via. Mai più.

28/07/2025: Sooo schlecht. Die 2-3 Kellnerinnen waren heillos überfordert. Es dauerte ewig bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde (auch Getränke) und über eine Stunde bis das Essen kam. Die Portionen waren sehr übersichtlich, relativ geschmacklos und, was am schlimmsten war: kalt!
Zur Bezahlung ging mein Mann extra rein, um dann gesagt zu bekommen, wo käme an den Tisch… natürlich dauerte dies wieder ewig, um dann zu erfahren, dass er zum kartenzahlen eh rein gemusst hätte, was wir vorher schon gesehen hatten. Hätten wir bloß vorher die Bewertungen hier gelesen, dann wäre uns diese sehr negative Erfahrung erspart geblieben.
26/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso in questo ristorantino a due passi da piazza Unità d’Italia. Abbiamo mangiato bene, il servizio ottimo, personale accogliente e premuroso.
Inizialmente ci eravamo un po’ spaventati leggendo le tante recensioni negative ma alla fine siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Recensioni ingenerose. Consigliato vivamente soprattutto per gli gnocchi al Gulash ed i dolci.

16/07/2025: Uno dei pochi ristoranti di pesce nel Carso triestino, dove puoi trovare una cucina casalinga classica e ottimamente eseguita. La padrona di casa è veramente simpatica e gentile. Nel giardinetto si sta proprio bene nella stagione estiva. Buona la selezione di antipasti misti e veramente ottima la pasta alla scoglio (una delle migliori provate ultimamente). Da provare anche i dolci

Servizio ottimo cameriere eccezionale bravo e simpatico
Decisamente un ottimo ristorante da visitare anche a pranzo con la terrazza esterna sul lungomare del villaggio.

13/06/2025: Claudio e Samuele sono i gestori, davvero gentili, disponibili e amichevoli. Ti fanno sentire come a casa tua... I menù cena, eccezionale, si mangia benissimo e lo staff davvero gentile e molto accorto e servizievole. Lo consiglio davvero. Anche la struttura camere, davvero ottima. Stefano TV
04/05/2025: Una bellissima serata: io, mio marito e il nostro cagnolone siamo arrivati tardi alle 21.45 e ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte ! Personale splendido con un plauso al giovane di casa che ci ha trattato benissimo deliziandoci con una cena con i fiocchi e con un post cena di confronto sul futuro. Prezzo corretto e assolutamente non esagerato e musica di sottofondo di gran classe. Bravissimi tutti e torneremo!!!

10/03/2025: Di ritorno in questo locale dopo alcuni anni mi accorgo che purtroppo la buona impressione ricevuta la primo volta non viene confermata. Si puo' comprendere che due persone ,da sole, tra cucina e "sala" facciano fatica a gestire 5/6 tavoli ma il servizio è lentissimo...se entri con fame rischi di dover chiedere 3 volte il pane prima che arrivi qualcosa in tavola. Abbiamo mangiato un buonissimo primo piatto di gnocchi con gli scampi e due piatti di frittura di calamari molto elastici ...non mi sarei mai aspettato di vedere che gli stessi provengono da una busta del congelatore. Siamo al mare , il periodo è giusto ...se proprio dovete metterli congelati almeno scongelati a dovere e friggeteli come va fatto invece , purtroppo una delusione.
22/12/2024: Luogo perfetto. Ambiente accogliente e retrò, servizio ineccepibile e cibo ottimo. Cozze, pasta al granzoporo,gnocchi agli scampi e tocai. Sorbetto offerto. 56 euro ben spesi. Torneremo!!! Maoooo!
