30/08/2024: Found on the Internet, tried in the "dark". Excellent and jovial welcome, well organised, particular and pleasant environment. Excellent choice of food and drinks, tried the sea bass with cherry tomatoes, a delicacy. I also recommend it because it is well located in the city center. Only recommendation: book promptly. Normal prices, quality in power. I'll be back.

25/08/2024: Absolutely amazing place. 100%authentic traditional Italian food. Menu on a board translated by the owner. House wine superb, all food superb and very reasonably priced too.

31/08/2024: I was with my family in this very particular place, a sort of musical time machine, we loved it. The cuisine based on fresh fish depending, it seems, on the daily catch, is truly excellent, only this is worth the road to come to Trieste about 250 km from our home, welcoming staff and very affordable prices, I highly recommend tasting the spaghetti Barcolana and the orange-filled ravioli in smoked tuna carbonara, well, goodness,... Place and cuisine definitely worth trying

06/12/2024: Discovering in a corner of Trieste the time stopped by the welcome of the past and the welcome of a corner of home was truly a nice surprise. Simple and retro, few dishes, but all of a very high quality. Mixed fruit with real fish (even mullet and flounder). Natural spider crab with a thousand seafood flavours. Prices appropriate to the quality of the raw material.

02/12/2024: Established fish restaurant with a colorful menu, frequently updated, never excessively gourmet and full of references to Istrian and north-Adriatic tradition. Good service, generally informal but well set up. Nice environment, even if there is a "range" of welcome and pleasantness of the atmosphere depending on the table - it takes a bit of luck. Account well calibrated to the offer. Excellent for those passing through and looking for a representative meal of local seafood cuisine

28/08/2024: We did not have a table reservation on 08/20/2024. We waited 20 minutes to get a table. Another 20 minutes of waiting, but we didn't even get a menu.

07/12/2024: Ambiente informale ma gradevolissimo, personale e titolare disponibili e preparatissimi. Pesce freschissimo e piatti ben prepararti e gradevolmente impiattati. Dessert home made deliziosi, la Crepe li batte tutti però. Ottima carta vini. Rispetto al servizio, la presenza, l'atmosfera gradevolissima i prezzi sono perfettamente in linea. La qualità si paga e qui ha il giusto prezzo

25/10/2024: Oh what can I say! Quality and fast service when you have little time to return to the clinic... on Fridays an obligatory stop for lunch with your aunt. Highly recommended, not only the quality and service but also the price. Well done and keep going

28/11/2024: Informal place, very fresh and well cooked fish. The homemade tagliolini is excellent, the frying is very good and the catch of the day is cooked to perfection. When we return to Trieste we will definitely come to eat the fish.

15/11/2024: A beautiful place, with little capacity, where you can enjoy some silence and the comfort given by wood. The coffee is good, the girls at the counter are nice.

01/12/2024: I have been frequenting this restaurant for more than 15 years and it has never disappointed me both in terms of the quality and goodness of the cuisine and the familiarity of the welcome. I don't forget the honesty of the prices and the convenience of the possibility of taking away all their very, very well prepared dishes. They are worth visiting.
