22/07/2025: The place is unique and obviously has to be liked. There's nothing to complain about about the service, and the same goes for the food, which is excellent and reasonably priced. There are actually only two vegetarian dishes, while the only vegan option is the grilled vegetables, as the only vegetarian dish available can't be made vegan because the cheese can't be removed. A real shame.

10/08/2025: We were here just yesterday, and we were lucky enough to have lunch as they were closing the kitchen (2:30 PM). We had an octopus salad with potatoes and a peppered mussels Triestina-style. It was excellent, I'd say. The quantity of octopus and potatoes for the price of 9 euros was too small in my opinion, but it was good. The mussels were 10 euros, nothing to complain about here. Well done.

17/08/2025: Quality food, great atmosphere right by the cathedral. You can ask for gluten-free pizza (it isn’t indicated in the menu, but it’s very tasty)! Kind and polite staff, quick service.

13/08/2025: I had the pork tenderloin with black cherries, a King Fosco reduction, and pistachios. The meat was cooked impeccably and the flavor was sublime. The staff was friendly and cheerful. The girl behind the bar was cheerful and helpful.

14/08/2025: We came to eat at AB Osteria Contemporanea and it was an incredible experience. All the ingredients are seasonal, incredibly fresh, and carefully prepared. The best dish, which we'd give 10 stars if we could, is "maccheroncini al torchio con stufato di manzo" (macaroni and tomatoes with beef stew), delicious! The wine selection was all recommended by Enza, an absolute genius! The quality/price ratio was perfect for an experience I absolutely recommend! If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat traditional products and have an impeccable gastronomic experience, well, you already know where to come. Compliments to chef Anna and the entire staff.

11/08/2025: A very nice place. Stylish and modern, hidden in a little village (Lavariano) south of Udine, close Mortegliano. Everybody's kind, everything's done for making you happy. We got a tasting menu of 5 plates with paired wines. One of the dish (risotto) was spectacular. Others in general pretty good. Wine pairing well done with one exception (it was mission impossible though ...) . The lady chef will soon deliver a baby girl . Best wishes to her and the coming daughter. All in all definitely recommended.

28/07/2025: Si tratta di una tipica trattoria di pesce con una cucina di qualità, un menù tradizionale, senza discutibili sperimentazioni e che non tradisce. Ampia selezione di antipasti da scegliere al banco. Ottimi i primi, i sardoni impanati, le seppie in umido. Valorizzati il pesce azzurro e il pesce povero. Personale giovane e gentile, molto piacevoli i tavolini fuori. Apprezzabile anche la malvasia sfusa. più che corretti i prezzi

19/07/2025: Siamo stati al ristorante Salvagente per pranzo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Gli antipasti sono davvero eccellenti, cucina tradizionale e con ingredienti freschissimi. Ogni piatto è un mix ben bilanciato di sapori, che grazie alla freschezza degli ingredienti, sorprende senza mai esagerare. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, l’atmosfera rilassata ma curata. Un posto dove torneremo sicuramente! Consigliato per chi ama iniziare la giornata con il piede giusto.

25/08/2025: Authentic, beautiful and not expansive as the other old famous bars. Large amount of ingredients for lots of cocktails. I had a 5 years old grappa and before a coffee mixed with gianduja and cream. All very good 👍 I have not eaten so I couldn't tell about food...

09/08/2025: Lasagna was an attempt at a joke. It's definitely a portion for a small child, not for an adult. The waiter doesn't like paying by card and will make you wait for 20 minutes to punish you. He prefers cash, where he disappears with the money and "as if" forgets the expense. The food was tasty otherwise good.

22/08/2025: Pizzeria Concordia has become a historic restaurant in Udine. The food is excellent and the service is superb. Gigi is always attentive and gets everyone working quickly and efficiently. I go there often and highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant. Delicious food with gluten-free options. The menu also lists all allergens. The service is also top-notch, with a great sense of humor. You can feel the high quality and freshness of the products. I wholeheartedly recommend it! The best restaurant in Udine!

21/07/2025: A beautiful little restaurant with a lot of charm! The service was outstanding – very attentive and extremely hospitable. The food was of excellent quality and arrived without a long wait. We were particularly impressed by the cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: I've known this place for years. You can eat a bit of everything, from fish and meat to sandwiches. The place is well-maintained. Excellent dishes. Prices are in line with the quality. The staff is knowledgeable and hardworking.

09/07/2025: We had an excellent meal at da ovidio today. Reservations are recommended. We had an antipasti platter of cold and warm fish for starters, and a steak main course. Everything was of excellent quality, with the meat tender as butter. The service was very friendly, attentive, and very child-friendly.

25/08/2025: Very nice, family-like service. Delicious and fresh food, the pastas, pizzas, salads and appetizers were all delicious! Next time we are in Trieste, we will definitely go back!
