The service was worthy of a top-notch restaurant: attentive, elegant, and always present without being intrusive. Every dish was meticulously crafted and of the highest quality, and from start to finish, everything was truly exceptional. The atmosphere made the moment even more special, and the entire organization was impeccable. A wonderful day that we will cherish forever. Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Ristorante Marin for making this moment so special.

22/03/2026: Stunning atmosphere, both outside and inside, rustic yet elegant style at the same time, impeccable service, excellent food a little above average, but it's really worth going at least once... I recommend it.

12/07/2026: Seafood restaurant serving traditional dishes. We dined there and will definitely return: everything was delicious, but the tagliolini alla Busara were truly memorable! The homemade desserts were also fabulous. The prices are in line with downtown restaurants, and the portions are just right. The location is spectacular, in a pedestrian area right in front of Palazzo Revoltella and just steps from the sea. Reservations are highly recommended. I also suggest scheduling dinner no later than 8:30, as it's located between two venues that blast disco music late at night.

11/07/2026: Amazing!!! The best scallops au gratin I've ever eaten, and the gnocchi with truffle and shrimp were truly delicious. The owner was very kind and super helpful. When I come to Trieste, I always stop here!

05/06/2026: Very nice family restaurant. We were here 3 times in row in 3 days. Tried practically everything from the menu. Starters, pizza, burgers, pasta, deserts...grappa. everything was fabulous. We tried spaghetti carbonara in almost every restaurant we were in during our stay and they were definitely the best here. Service was also very good and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

We had dinner this evening at Ristorante La Botte in Lignano Pineta with a group of seven, and the experience was truly enjoyable. Highlights of the evening: Food and Portions: We ate really well! The dishes are tasty, well-prepared, and the portions are generous, perfect for those who want to leave feeling full and satisfied. Service and Hospitality: The staff immediately proved to be very courteous, polite, and attentive to our needs, managing the large table with great professionalism and a smile. Value for Money: Prices were absolutely average for the area: we spent about €30 per person, a perfectly reasonable amount given the quality of the food, the quantity, and the excellent service we received. A welcoming place, highly recommended for a lovely dinner with family or friends in Lignano Pineta. We'll definitely be back!

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

15/12/2025: 5 out of 5 stars for everything! Location, setting, food, presentation, and the friendliness and kindness of the staff (a very important factor). All the dishes were excellent, their quality and presentation, and the empathy of the waiter (alas, I don't remember his name) who recommended the traditional biscuits with Marsala wine to finish our meal. This is a place where they make you feel at home, sitting at a table with friends. My husband and I will definitely return to this wonderful place.

09/08/2026: A beautiful outdoor location with a refined atmosphere. The appetizers were very good, the first courses were all too salty, and the desserts were too sweet. The two staff members were friendly but not very attentive. The medium/high price would be fair if the dishes lived up to expectations.

11/07/2026: Gardenia impresses with classic Italian fish dishes, expertly prepared. Ask Marco what's not on the menu; you'll be surprised at first, and then delighted by the food. If you still have room, you should definitely try the tiramisu – it's heavenly!

20/06/2026: Disappointing experience: repetitive menu and endless waits. My husband and I had a terrible evening at the Rosenbar. We chose the tasting menu of fish cooked to the chef's whim. There was a lack of imagination: zucchini was often used in various dishes, resulting in a repetitive experience. After a good start, we were forgotten about by the arrival of a group of the chef's friends, with whom the owner's husband also sat down to eat. The highlight was the main course: an hour's wait for just two breaded sardines each, with a little radicchio and four beans. Waiting 60 minutes for such a paltry dish is unacceptable. We got up without dessert and went to the cashier. The chef apologized, saying she'd burned the sardines the first time and then forgotten about us. She gave us a ridiculous discount of only 5 euros (which we were entitled to anyway, since we didn't order dessert). He invited us back for dessert, but that won't happen. We're used to eating much better-cooked fish at restaurants in Grado or Aquileia. The tasting menu and service need a complete overhaul; we won't be returning.

10/05/2026: We booked a table for 1:30 PM, ordered just before 2:00 PM, and started eating at 3:00 PM. The food was decent, but the wait was exorbitant! The staff was unhelpful. It's a shame the outdoor seating wasn't set up.

08/07/2026: The rating is incomprehensible. A clear 5 stars in all categories. Try the fish prepared in the Grado style, it's incredibly good!

We stumbled upon this charming restaurant while strolling through Grado and decided to eat there because of the wonderful atmosphere. Only afterwards did we see on Google that the reviews didn't even come close to reflecting our experience. Go and see for yourself!
