16/10/2025: We've been here twice this week. We've always had great food. So far, the new management seems excellent. If we really have to make a comment, we didn't like the way the zucchini and cheese in the Nerano pasta 🥒🧀 were reduced to a creamy consistency. Personally, we prefer the zucchini chips and grated provolone del Monaco. But, as we all know, every chef likes to add their own touch of style 😉

11/10/2025: As tourists, this restaurant was recommended to us. In my opinion, it's small and cramped, with tables too close together and an unwelcoming atmosphere. We ordered fish dishes, which, in my opinion, weren't fresh and well-cooked, leaving much to be desired. Expectations were already questioned from the start, given the restaurant's style, which aims to do more of everything (pizza, meat, fish, etc.). Despite the mediocre quality, the prices are high.

10/08/2025: We were here just yesterday, and we were lucky enough to have lunch as they were closing the kitchen (2:30 PM). We had an octopus salad with potatoes and a peppered mussels Triestina-style. It was excellent, I'd say. The quantity of octopus and potatoes for the price of 9 euros was too small in my opinion, but it was good. The mussels were 10 euros, nothing to complain about here. Well done.

What was particularly remarkable: even though it was the end of the season and the restaurant was still very busy—meaning all the employees were already quite exhausted from three months of stress—everyone was super friendly, and the manager also treated his staff with great respect! We'd love to come back!

19/10/2025: Very friendly waiter, unfortunately the kitchen was a complete failure. The tuna as a main course was meager and bad. The triamisu was also watery and old, oh dear, oh dear. Completely forgot about the cold payta. Years ago, it was completely different.

16/10/2025: Seafood was fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. Unfortunately, the mixed fish grill only had a small piece of fish, otherwise seafood.

09/10/2025: Just one note: Neapolitan ragù is "o raù" and Genovese is "la genovese"—a completely different thing. Two exceptional Neapolitan recipes that shouldn't be confused.

14/08/2025: We came to eat at AB Osteria Contemporanea and it was an incredible experience. All the ingredients are seasonal, incredibly fresh, and carefully prepared. The best dish, which we'd give 10 stars if we could, is "maccheroncini al torchio con stufato di manzo" (macaroni and tomatoes with beef stew), delicious! The wine selection was all recommended by Enza, an absolute genius! The quality/price ratio was perfect for an experience I absolutely recommend! If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat traditional products and have an impeccable gastronomic experience, well, you already know where to come. Compliments to chef Anna and the entire staff.

20/09/2025: We had a great time. The staff was friendly and punctual, and the dishes—breaded sardoni and pappardelle alla busara—were excellent. The price was very reasonable. It's a popular place with locals, and I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: A good place. I've been there for lunch, so I assume the menu is more basic, as it caters mostly to workers. The evening menu will definitely be more extensive, but honestly, I've never been there.

16/10/2025: In February of last year I asked to work there and was told that they needed my CV. After seeing the service of some waiters, I would say that something doesn't add up.

09/06/2025: Als "Wiederholungstäter" wurden wir auch diesmal wieder nicht enttäuscht. Schöne Terrasse, schönes Lokal, netter und zuvorkommender Service und last but not least viel Gutes aus dem Meer und aus dem Keller. Wenn man in der Umgebung ist, unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Preise sind übrigens der Qualität entsprechend.

05/06/2025: Könnte man mehr Punkte vergeben das Castello hat es mehr als verdient. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen Und alle Speisen die serviert wurden waren einfach fantastisch . Das Thunfisch Tatar einfach lecker . Aber auch die Hauptspeisen einfach ein Traum .Mir viel die Auswahl richtig schwer,weil alle Gerichte auf der Karte sehr verlockend klingen . Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall das Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten ,aber auch das Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder wenn wir in Muggia sind .

13/09/2025: Let's start by saying that the pizza is simply fabulous! The owners are two incredibly kind ladies. We were there two nights in a row, a great group of eight colleagues: we had a truly wonderful time. I recommend this restaurant with all my heart!

01/08/2025: I happened to be hungry and ended up there by chance during a challenging bike ride. A friendly welcome, a delicious tasting menu, excellent wine, and fair prices, albeit not exactly cheap. I'd gladly go back.

27/06/2025: Eating at Mitya (Sgonico wine shop) is a unique experience, fresh food prepared with fantasies of unique aromas and flavors, from raw and cooked appetizers, first courses and then the endless grills, excellent wines and bubbles that caress the palate. I recommend everyone to try an experience of unique flavors, accompanied by friendliness and unique professionalism. ENJOY YOUR MEAL
