18/07/2026: This was a set menu evening with music, so I wouldn't take the answers regarding the offerings and the noise as definitive. The food and menu were excellent, with a tempting value for money. Sorry, but a 60-minute wait outweighs any positives.

18/07/2026: We returned to this renowned restaurant in the center of Pordenone after some time to celebrate my birthday (over a month late!). The atmosphere is refined and elegant, yet informal; the quality of the ingredients (fish) and the dishes is always top-notch. Among the dishes served and enjoyed was the excellent macaroni with fresh sardines, raisins, pine nuts, and fennel, a truly delicious and hearty dish, as was the spaghetti with clams offered off-menu (also off-menu, a pasta dish with scampi and fresh porcini mushrooms at the next table was tempting). The fried scampi and calamari was light, flavorful, and crispy, served with vegetable scraps and polenta cubes, which not only lightened the overall meal but also enhanced the dish. The desserts were excellent and sophisticated, including a coffee and amaretti parfait and the peach melba, served with vanilla and raspberry ice cream. Dinner was accompanied by a fine glass of Fiano della Campania, recommended by the waiter from among the other options available by the glass. Incidentally, the wine list is truly worthy of the restaurant, but a semi-teetotal wife and a completely teetotal daughter generally don't allow me to order a whole bottle... ☹️ Service was knowledgeable, attentive, and informal, with waiting times that weren't excessive but adequate for the quality of the dishes. One regret: years ago, you'd be greeted with a glass of bubbles to welcome you and a tasty appetizer offered by the chef while you waited for the dishes ordered from the menu to arrive. But perhaps this is also a way to try to keep the cost of dinner at a reasonable level, given the quality of the dishes, in an era of constantly rising raw material prices and persistent inflation!

16/06/2026: Great seafood lunch with views out to sea. Lots of nice fish dishes. Pasta portions are large. Lovely people, nice relaxed service.

16/06/2026: The quality was truly poor; everything we ate (raw and grilled fish) was clearly defrosted. The price was incredibly high, and it was worth it just for the location! It's a real shame to serve such products in a seaside town! It takes so little to get quality ingredients. FAILED.

17/04/2026: …I stopped at this place!!…”Ai Tre Soldi”!!…large and welcoming environment!!…with a group of people on a trip organized by an agency in my city!!…which as per the plan!!…we were visiting Trieste!!…Duino and then Gorizia!!…in fact for lunch!!…the last day before returning here!!…it was our lunch break!!…the place is a famous restaurant located right in the historic center of the city!!…but about a couple of years ago it changed management!!…unfortunately before arriving here!!…for reasons still unknown!!…half of the group had intestinal problems!!…me included!!…so the guide ordered plain rice and boiled potatoes!!…obviously for those who had problems!!…for the others there was the normal menu!!…unfortunately something went wrong!!…my plain rice!!…was inedible!!…overcooked!!…very slow service!!…there was only one person working in Hall!!…what can I say!!…it must have been a coincidence!!…but in my opinion!!…something went wrong!!…here!!…at the “Ai Tre Soldi” restaurant!!…in the historic center of Gorizia!!…⬇️🇸🇮🍽️🍛🧑‍🍳🇮🇹⬆️🎉

02/05/2026: Family lunch for 6. Spectacular mussel piri piri, as were the gratin dishes. Long wait, but satisfied. Risotto and another first course were both very good. Grilled fish was good, but not exceptional. Normal price.

30/04/2026: The meal was excellent. We weren't expecting such refined cuisine, especially since we stumbled upon it by chance during an unplanned evening in Grado. From the appetizers onward, we realized that even the great classics are prepared with special attention to flavors and textures. The boreto (veal stew) is highly recommended, truly exceptional, and the gnocchi with asparagus and shrimp are highly recommended: crispy asparagus, perfectly cooked, and a truly special flavor. A remarkable restaurant, authentic and not at all touristy.

28/04/2026: An elegant and discreet restaurant on Grado's pedestrian street. I dined at the outdoor tables: I ordered the monkfish at the waiter's recommendation, which was truly delicious. The grilled octopus appetizer with potatoes was also delicious. I would have liked to try the gnocchi with asparagus and scallops, or the fish soup, and the chocolate cake, but unfortunately they weren't available in a gluten-free version. Packaged gluten-free bread and breadsticks are available. Professional and knowledgeable staff.

28/06/2026: We dined at Pescada on Saturday evening and were very lucky to be seated as we hadn't booked. The owners/chefs are from Gallipoli, Puglia, and you can taste it in their dishes. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We tried the cold appetizer: spaghetti with squid ink, orecchiette with Sardinian mint and crispy onion, spaghetti with clams, and a generous cutlet with chips. To finish, we had excellent desserts prepared by the owner and assembled on the spot. We left feeling very satisfied, despite the intense heat in Grado last night.

10/04/2026: A completely satisfactory one-night stay. Clean and functional room, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast.

07/06/2026: Historic and renowned 4-star hotel in the center of Udine: superb location, professionalism, and great kindness, especially from the breakfast and room cleaning staff. Breakfast is more than adequate but not as memorable as one might expect for this type of hotel. The room is small but clean and adequately maintained.

07/06/2026: Huge room. A real suite. Everything is clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Excellent beds. Good facilities. Wonderful breakfast. Pleasant desk service. Smoking garden. Very close to the center. Definitely worth the price. One kilometer from the train station.

11/08/2026: The food was delicious! They have a separate gluten-free menu that they give you when you arrive, and everything is very well managed. The prices are quite reasonable, and we ate incredibly well. We even shared a pizza because they're quite large. I highly recommend it!

10/08/2026: Octopus and avocado was delicious, however, the bread was a little bit hard. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

12/07/2026: Last night we celebrated my husband's birthday. We had an excellent dinner, and as a final surprise, when it was time to serve the cake, the staff turned off the lights and, after lighting the candles, sang "Happy Birthday" to us. Very welcoming.

29/07/2026: Very welcoming place, very friendly staff, and good food, generous portions, and very well-prepared dishes. I'll definitely be back!! The only downside is that there's no parking.

22/07/2026: All in all, the quality of the food is not to be disdained, it's a shame that the place is rather run-down, for example, dining in front of the open entrance to the bathrooms is not exactly the best..., therefore, apart from the decent quality and the generous portions, I think the prices are not appropriate because they are in line with restaurants of a much higher level, around €30 per person for a course, 1/2 bottle of wine on tap and 1 bottle of water for three.... and €3 per cover charge are unacceptable for the context.

11/05/2026: We had a great time. Excellent seafood dishes; I recommend the Ovidio appetizer, delicious with both hot and cold seafood. Very friendly and attentive staff.
