17/04/2026: Highly recommended. Very friendly and very good food.

12/04/2026: Reservations are recommended, even for lunch! The ambiance is absolutely fantastic, with a terrace overlooking the seafront, perfect for a romantic or social lunch or dinner, while enjoying the sea breeze. Good food: we tried the fish dishes, and the grilled sea bream (€18) and mackerel (€16) were excellent. It's a shame they're served whole, so you have to debone them yourself. The baked potatoes, served as a side and included in the price, were also good. The cover charge was €2, which was acceptable, but we weren't served bread. We spent €52 for two, including two glasses of wine and a coffee. The price was ok, and the quality/price ratio was decent. Worth a try if you're in the area!

17/04/2026: …I stopped at this place!!…”Ai Tre Soldi”!!…large and welcoming environment!!…with a group of people on a trip organized by an agency in my city!!…which as per the plan!!…we were visiting Trieste!!…Duino and then Gorizia!!…in fact for lunch!!…the last day before returning here!!…it was our lunch break!!…the place is a famous restaurant located right in the historic center of the city!!…but about a couple of years ago it changed management!!…unfortunately before arriving here!!…for reasons still unknown!!…half of the group had intestinal problems!!…me included!!…so the guide ordered plain rice and boiled potatoes!!…obviously for those who had problems!!…for the others there was the normal menu!!…unfortunately something went wrong!!…my plain rice!!…was inedible!!…overcooked!!…very slow service!!…there was only one person working in Hall!!…what can I say!!…it must have been a coincidence!!…but in my opinion!!…something went wrong!!…here!!…at the “Ai Tre Soldi” restaurant!!…in the historic center of Gorizia!!…⬇️🇸🇮🍽️🍛🧑‍🍳🇮🇹⬆️🎉

12/04/2026: Perfectly located in the heart of Udine – the hotel offers easy walking access to all the city's main attractions. The hotel has old-world charm, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is adequate.

13/04/2026: After months of wanting to try this restaurant, I finally went for a romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, especially the service and the cold, disorganized location, which didn't quite match the culinary offerings we found superb. We'd reported a lactose intolerance for both of us about a week in advance, but this information was effectively ignored at the dinner table. The menu offered only one lactose-free option and there was very little willingness to adapt dishes (our requests were simple exclusions, not complex modifications). The most absurd moment was dessert: even though we knew we couldn't have them, we were still served a small, "free" pastry, specifying that it contained lactose. An incomprehensible gesture. It's a shame, because with a little more attention—even just preparing a simple alternative (e.g., dark chocolate)—the experience would have been completely different.

14/04/2026: Gorgeous wisteria-covered terrace. We hadn’t made a reservation but were welcomed immediately. Excellent wine selection if you want something a little special. Gnocchi with prawns and truffle was sensational. Great seafood misto and grilled octopus.

12/04/2026: Stopped by by chance, ate well and paid fairly. I have to go back.

19/04/2026: We returned to this pizzeria (2 adults and 5 children) after having been there on other occasions. Unfortunately, this time the experience was truly awful, almost surreal. The pizzas were so-so, nothing special, the pork shank was inedible (dry and stringy), and the steak was a decidedly negative experience, the smell alone was embarrassing. The gnocchi with goulash also left a lot to be desired. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I think this kind of behavior is implicitly inviting me to express my discomfort and dissatisfaction with what happened. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO IT

17/04/2026: The place is very nice, but parking is difficult because the pizzeria doesn't have one. The pizzas are decent, but the bill is really high. Overall, an experience not to be repeated.

31/12/2025: The place is dated but pleasant and clean. The staff is friendly, but the management is a bit sketchy: two of us had lunch, and the room was only 50% full. Twice, after we'd ordered from the menu, the waiter returned to say the dishes weren't available; on the third attempt, they made it... The food and value were average.

26/04/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at the end of April (without having booked but available and kind): excellent spaghetti with clams and linguine with lobster (al dente), sea bass fillet with the perfect addition of creamed asparagus soup (not included in the menu), fair prices for the raw material and tourist location.

12/04/2026: We enjoyed four days in the beautiful old town of Grado. This visit was the best, both culinarily and culturally. An authentic Italian restaurant. We had a lovely evening with ravioli (spinach and fish) and pasta with scampi and limoncello. Friendly, attentive, and courteous service – pleasant conversations with the staff. You feel very welcome. Homemade food. 👌🏻
