27/04/2025: Requested 3 times, 1 spoon never received, the requested water arrived in a carafe and inside there was a crumb, oh well, the starters which included 3 courses arrived with 2 courses less, good flavor but minimal quantities. 15 euros for the starter or 16 for the first course, always decent quantities. You do it

22/04/2025: A real small seafood tavern in Trieste a stone's throw from the center and the port. Fresh fish with a good dose of creativity, pleasant selection of wines also by the glass, fast young service with some acceptable flaws in the description of the dishes. I count as normal considering that you are in the center and eat fish. Outside tables on a quiet street Advised

14/05/2025: An interesting experience in a historic restaurant in Gorizia. You can eat excellent quality fish masterfully prepared by young people in the kitchen (at least it seemed that way to us). A very well-kept restaurant well managed by the girl who goes by the name of Amalia. The owner is the typical gentleman host who puts you at ease and sets the mood to enjoy the experience. Excellent wine list. Absolutely recommended.

11/05/2025: It is a historic restaurant in Gorizia, already in the Michelin guides, where you can taste traditional dishes, with some additions from the creativity of the chef who (beautiful) came to the table to tell you about her dishes. You will find the Gorizia snack, fish-based dishes (very fresh) and an environment that will make us relive an Austro-Hungarian climate. Advised! PS excellent wine list

02/05/2025: Really satisfied to have eaten in this place where customer care, professionalism, kindness and care make the essence of the main distinction. We felt looked after and welcomed at the top. The professionalism and quality of the fish (linguine with scampi and asparagus and scallop gnocchi) amazing dishes accompanied by refined nectar!!! 26/04/2025: Locale defilato dal centro quasi non si nota , ma appena si entra si nota il calore di un locale alla mano ma gestito con amore . La signora viene al tavolo munita di blocchetto dove elenca i piatti del giorno è confermo la freschezza e la qualità del pesce . Pesce che viene cotto secondo la tradizione e con passione dal cuoco che è anche proprietario del locale . Che dire , buon cibo , ambiente informale e cortesia : mix vincente per noi! Torneremo più che volentieri

26/04/2025: MUST PASS IT! Authentic place in Trieste, small but full of heart. Run by a super friendly couple, here you eat spectacular fish, fresh and cooked to perfection. Relaxed atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. If you love good fish and real hospitality, you absolutely must stop by!

05/05/2025: The pizzas we ordered tasted amazing. The ingredients used to make them tasted like they came from my grandmother's garden. You would like to feel this taste every day - "heaven in your mouth". 😉 I would like to draw attention to a very nice gentleman from the staff who politely tried to understand our broken English/Italian and showed us everything in detail. He greeted us and said goodbye to us in a friendly accent, namely with a few words in Polish. Thank you and we highly recommend it to everyone!!!

04/05/2025: ATTENTION – Tourist rip-off! Please give this restaurant a wide berth! We were a group of 8 people - 4 adults and 4 children, including 2 babies who slept in the stroller. Only 2 adults and 1 child ate. Nevertheless, we were charged a service fee of €20 - completely unreasonable and a pure rip-off! In addition: The scampi and the pizza were disappointing in taste - absolutely not worth the money. We were there for a week and never had to pay such a flat rate in any other restaurant. Conclusion: Overpriced, unfair and disappointing in quality. No recommendation!

28/04/2025: Super elegant place and staff who were all very kind and attentive to detail..(we were missing an extra cutlery used during the starters and they brought it immediately, without asking for it)..very good and fresh food..this time we took a fish menu but the pizza is also very good..recommended..I will return the next time I go to those areas..I recommend the room and the service of Mr. Pasquale..truly professional..

25/04/2025: The place is welcoming, the staff very kind. We didn't book but they managed to find us a place for two. The first course was so good that I can't find the words. The homemade pasta was nothing short of sublime. Perfectly cooked. Not to mention the pizza. I also found the toilets impeccable.

24/04/2025: Sunday evening, not full place: waiting time for a pizza 1h. The waiter bends down to hug and kiss a beautiful big dog and then without washing his hands he starts to prepare the tables handling napkins and cutlery. I will not return and I do not recommend it.

06/05/2025: Nothing particularly negative in itself, but an experience generally not worth remembering. Having perhaps arrived at the wrong time, in the middle of another service, we were seated anyway but then a little "forgotten". Good dishes but prices a little high considering the portions. Fried to review.

27/04/2025: I ate at Dune more than 20 years ago and it was excellent. Now I don't know who the manager is but for me he is an incompetent in the restaurant business. Never eaten so badly, pasta with frozen and re-heated clams, soup which initially brings you something inedible, pasta with fresh grated bottarga on top of the pasta! I don't know where this idea comes from but it's like eating a kilo of salt with a fork..... Levitate the place is no longer the legendary "le dunes", thank goodness that after the complaints I didn't pay.

21/04/2025: Can't understand many reviews about unmotivated waiters. Service was super fast and friendly! Fish is filleted at the table. Pasta was great, the mussels were a personal highlight. Pizza super good. Desserts are also great. Starters bread everything fits. Very good house wine, clean toilets. Recommendation for going out to eat in the evening.

01/05/2025: If you want to smell and taste the sea you must try their dishes. Simple and original where what counts are the ingredient and the love with which it is prepared and served.
