12/11/2024: We were a group having lunch outside in early November sunshine. The restaurant kindly put together a delicious seafood salad and a selection of mains, all of which were delicious. We were particularly delighted to see an Italian lady of a certain age enjoying a 3 course meal with wine, on her own. Life goals. The staff were really attentive and professional although we couldn't quite manage the "melon cello" that they offered us as we left. If you wondered why some of us didn't eat the salmon in the salad, several of us are fishermen/women and we no longer eat farmed salmon as it is destroying the species and our seas. We recommend you find a good trout supplier.

02/11/2024: Top restaurant in Trieste. In terms of quality/price it is perhaps the best restaurant I have been to. Excellent selection of wines and very competent staff. It is certainly more expensive than average, but for the quality of the fresh fish and the cuisine it is worth it. The appetizer "la champagnieria" which has a selection of typical dishes is recommended. Cabin-style interior furnishings, the room is very quiet and you can't hear the street. We ate and enjoyed the wine in complete tranquility.

07/12/2024: You know a place is gonna be good when the menu is entirely in Italian. Not too far from the main Piazza, this restaurant has a small but decent sized menu designed not to overwhelm the diner. I highly recommend the octopus as it is the best I have eaten in a long time. I will definitely be coming back this is restaurant should I ever visit Trieste again

Simpatia ed atmosfera casalinga ti avvolgono e ti permettono di apprezzare pienamente il pesce freschissimo che, cucinato sapientemente, sprigiona sapori da leccarsi i baffi. 15/09/2024: The Ai Confini restaurant, located directly on the golf course in Tarvisio, is truly a culinary gem! Here, good, honest cuisine with regional products is offered on a manageable menu. The number of tables is limited, so it is absolutely recommended to make a table reservation. The price-performance ratio is great! Of course, Italian is spoken, but also Slovenian, German and English. Anyone who can't resist the temptation to divide several dishes onto two plates will be generously rewarded with this option at no extra charge. This means you can enjoy several starters together. The drinks menu is very remarkable and includes all of Italy, a few French and all at really moderate prices. We would be happy to come back here next time and be very hungry. The fifth star for the kitchen in the rating comes about because the frequency of strawberry crumble on many dishes was not necessarily appropriate due to the acidity... but that shouldn't detract from the overall impression... 👍 🤗 PS: If you like my review, I'd be happy to give it a thumbs up! 😁👍

01/11/2024: Dieses bürgerliche Lokal bietet gute Speisen zu Mittag an zu einem färem Preis. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und die weiteren Gäste im Lokal liessen auf Einheimische schliessen. Ich würde nicht extra nach Monfalcone wegen diesem Lokal fahren aber wenn ich wieder dort wäre würden ich definitiv dort wieder zu Mittag speisen.

03/10/2024: Sono già diverse volte che mangio qua e devo dire che il pesce è davvero ottimo, con tanti piatti sfiziosi e tradizionali. Consigliati i calamari, fritti o alla griglia!
