The food was good and in sufficient quantity, and the service was courteous and helpful. The average cost for the two evenings was €33 per person, certainly expensive for the amount we ate.

All of the fishes come out fresssssshhhh and mouthwatering. Mr Renzo is out favorite choice here and can only recommend!

07/02/2026: Let me start by saying that my wife and I are regulars. We dined at Al Collio for New Year's Eve, opting for the meat menu. And, as always, we were satisfied. For us, it feels like home. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, know that they cook everything freshly. So if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Thank you for making our New Year's Eve a wonderful experience. The only downside was our neighbors at the table (Mrs. Sandra G., as she signed her review), who didn't seem to be happy with anything, and they also annoyed us with their attitude. 24/02/2026: I've been to Marinato's in Trieste and had a great time. Excellent pizza and carefully prepared dishes. The portions are generous and the flavors are balanced, without being overbearing. I highly recommend their pistachio tiramisu! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is friendly. Prices are in line with the quality offered. I'd gladly return.

07/03/2026: Truly exceptional seafood restaurant. I've never tasted such delicious raw fish: incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. The waiters were excellent, always kind and with just the right amount of humor to put you at ease. They recommended dishes impeccably, and every suggestion was spot on. The restaurant is also beautiful, with a refined and elegant interior. A truly excellent experience, I'll definitely be back!

01/03/2026: After years, I've had to order from a place with no menu or wine list. I don't even joke with the waiter, telling him I'm having a hard time and would like to know the cost of my order, and he tells me to "don't worry." We paid €155, which would have been €110-120 in much cooler places in Trieste. The service was also too homely for a seafood place, and considering the price, it's not worth mentioning. Overall, it was significantly below expectations.

31/12/2025: The place is dated but pleasant and clean. The staff is friendly, but the management is a bit sketchy: two of us had lunch, and the room was only 50% full. Twice, after we'd ordered from the menu, the waiter returned to say the dishes weren't available; on the third attempt, they made it... The food and value were average.

18/12/2025: Discovered thanks to a friend who knows the area well, the atmosphere is dated but extremely comfortable and pleasant. Fast and friendly service, and above all... delicious fish! The mixed hot and cold antipasto platter was wonderful, and the grilled fish was superb! Highly recommended.
