We had lunch at this restaurant, and I must say we had high expectations. There were two of us, and we didn't wait long—we were practically the first ones in. The food was very good and fresh, and the aromas from the dishes were truly noticeable, which is a real treat. The service was excellent, with Domenico to be commended. Given his young age, you can immediately tell how passionate he is about his work. He was very courteous and competent, making even the older staff envious. The menu prices aren't exactly cheap; let's say not every day, but we all know that when you combine quality food with a touristy setting, prices are higher, but it's worth the lunch.

We had a wonderful time! We chose Pizzeria la Pergola for a family dinner and couldn't have made a better choice. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and professional, as was the family who runs it. The background music was excellent, and we also had fun participating in the karaoke, which was organized in a discreet manner.
We'll see you again soon, thanks to Pino and his family for a wonderful evening!

Truly an excellent experience! An elegant restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service.
The real star of the evening was the Panko-crusted tuna: perfectly cooked, the quality of the fish was extraordinary, and the balanced flavors blended perfectly. The tagliolini with red shrimp, bottarga, and lime were also excellent: creamy and flavorful, prepared with the freshest ingredients. Don't miss the focaccia, fragrant, warm, and irresistible.
Refined yet authentic cuisine, showcasing every dish. I'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone in Tropea!

Sadly, the memory of this fantastic place from so many years ago faded in one evening. The waits were incredibly long, even though we were four tables of roughly eight people. The mini pizzas were flavorless and had poorly risen dough. During the night, both I and the others at the dinner were incredibly thirsty. Those who ate fish, however, were satisfied, which is why they gave us three stars; otherwise, they would have been given less.

I dined at La Pergola restaurant and the experience was fantastic in every way. If you're in Tropea, this place is an absolute must. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere was magical: dining under the pergola offers a unique sense of freshness and intimacy, perfect for a break from the chaos of the historic center. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the dishes showcase Calabrian tradition with great balance. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and fast, despite the restaurant being full. Excellent value for the quality offered. I can't wait to return to try other specialties!

I chose a fish dish and it was simply exceptional: incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and with truly authentic flavors. The raw fish was delicious.
You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation.
The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place I'll return to and one I recommend to anyone who loves good fish! 🍽️
