The first impression is human even before it's gastronomic: the staff is friendly, attentive, and instantly puts you at ease. Then comes the food, and from then on, the quality remains consistently high. The mussel sauté is one of those dishes that only seems simple on paper: fragrant, intense, perfectly balanced, the kind that invites you to leave not even a drop of residue. The first courses confirm the kitchen's confident hand: exquisite, well-executed, flawless. But the real "wow" moment comes with the seared tuna fillet. A dish that goes beyond words: impeccably cooked, excellent ingredients, clean and profound flavor. One of those bites that lingers in your memory and, alone, is worth the visit. The bill is as surprising as the dish itself: two appetizers, two main courses, and two side dishes, water only, for between 30 and 40 euros per person. Given the quality of the fish and the level of preparation, the value for money is more than fair; in fact, it's definitely spot on. The service deserves top marks: attentive, professional, and never intrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined; the only small drawback is the lack of a direct sea view, as the restaurant is located slightly further inland. This detail affects the atmosphere, but not the dining experience in the slightest. A restaurant that works well, with integrity and respect for its customers. People come here to eat quality fish and leave with a distinct memory: that of a cuisine that knows how to be remembered.

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant based on word of mouth. It was supposed to be just a taste test, but it turned out to be an excellent lunch. The fish was fresh, tender, and top-notch. The super-fresh raw seafood, served without excessive seasoning, perfectly showcased the quality and freshness of the fish. The hot dishes were also delicious and original, with combinations we'd never tried before. The fusillone with saffron, shrimp, and Centerba was especially delicious, with an impeccable balance of flavors. The dessert menu also offers a wide selection: homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers and a delicious Colomba semifreddo. Highly recommended!

31/03/2026: The "La Nave" restaurant is one of the historic restaurants located on the Francavilla al Mare seafront. The architecture is characterized by numerous round windows reminiscent of cruise ship portholes. The atmosphere is welcoming, spacious, bright, and panoramic. The elevated view of the Adriatic Sea gives a sense of open space, almost like sailing on the sea waters, which reflect numerous shades of green, blue, and turquoise in the sunlight. The horizon is clearly delineated by the intense blue of the sky, which on hot summer days is clear of clouds. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from meat to fish, cooked in a distinctly traditional way, without neglecting the most delicious condiments, capable of satisfying the most discerning palates. The seafood risotto is one of the dishes I highly recommend. The appetizers, side dishes, and wines are equally exquisite. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of artisanal pasta, including the chitarra pasta and ravioli. The staff is all polite, friendly, helpful, quick, and professional. Parking is available either on the street adjacent to the restaurant (paid parking) or free parking near the waterfront in the surrounding streets. An excellent venue for family, corporate, or wedding receptions. The restaurant can cater for large events, whether large or small, with reservations required.
