18/08/2024: Refined fish restaurant where we had dinner following a tasty tasting menu that made us appreciate the undisputed quality of the Chef's preparations. Young and very professional wait staff. Excellent wine on the menu.

17/08/2024: Positive experience! I'm vegan and they had several options, especially very kind in preparing me an appetizer that wasn't on the menu. All delicious and if told in advance they also prepare a vegan tasting menu, in addition to the fish menu that is already there (shame I didn't do it). Fair value for money for the quality they offer, it's a shame I was there on holiday and I can't go back anytime soon, but I highly recommend it!

31/07/2024: Finally good, genuine fish, well presented, the eye always wants its part, seasoned with kindness and helpfulness on the part of the staff. I didn't even have any problems finding dishes suitable for me and gluten-free pasta due to my intolerances, thank you. Fresh fish, which melts in your mouth… we will be back.

Basic dishes and meager portions, but above all arrogance and rudeness on the part of the restaurateur, who wants to pass off an inedible linguine (overcooked and tasteless) with hairy crab (no meat, practically there was only a shell) for a traditional Abruzzo dish . 27/08/2024: Very kind young staff, we ate very well. Warm seafood salad with excellent sous vide cooking, spaghetti with clams cooked perfectly, the rest was also excellent. very satisfied. We will be back.

17/08/2024: Just NO. Those who reviewed the food at this restaurant well have never eaten good fish. Some fish were clearly frozen and in general the dishes were not cooked well. Despite the kindness of the staff, I gave a three for the service because the glasses and cutlery were dirty. I find it absurd that the Michelin guide and Gambero Rosso report this place, misleading the choice of those who rely on Google to look for a place to dine.

19/08/2024: One star for the location and one for the staff, spectacular. For the rest, nothing special, for 70 euros per person I expect at least one fried fish as a second course, not two very small fried anchovies as an appetizer. Furthermore, the portions of the first courses were really small (less than half a ladle). There was black rice with two mini prawns (they looked like those from supermarkets), and trofie with cod (or another oily fish). I repeat, for 70 euros a fry is a must but also a decent first course such as seafood pasta

27/08/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant, attracted by the published photos of the dishes and the various positive reviews and with great satisfaction, we can confirm that we were not wrong in our choice. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses as an appetizer, good, quite abundant and varied. As a first course, tagliolini with scampi cream and tagliolini with seafood which turned out to be truly exceptional, tasty, rich in various fish and quite abundant. The choice of the second course focused on fried paranza, very good, quite abundant, not heavy and rich in different types of fish and as a side dish we ate some good Ascoli olives. To conclude, we ordered lemon sorbet for dessert and an exquisite Sicilian cannoli, really excellent and like all the other dishes, presented in a truly creative and beautiful way. The restaurant, although hidden and although from the outside, may not seem very attractive, inside reveals a characteristic location with very beautiful vaulted arches, a clean and tidy environment. The service was quite fast, efficient and certainly excellent, also thanks to the welcome, friendliness and friendliness of the Cuban waiter Giordano, as well as thanks also to the owner, an excellent chef. Furthermore, to start, they delighted us with a welcome cocktail, while to conclude they again offered us small chocolate sweets. Small attentions and courtesies that the customer certainly appreciates and which still make a difference, especially when, on top of that, the food is really very good. Good quality/price ratio. Overall therefore, we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

16/08/2024: We celebrated the anniversary in this overflow on the evening of mid-August. The trabocco itself is without a doubt as beautiful as all the others that we can find along the trabocchi coast. The cooking experience, however, was disappointing. Upon arrival we ordered glasses of wine which were slow in arriving, 2 other different waiters came after some time to ask us if we had chosen the wine, we pointed out 3 times that we had already ordered it. To which they brought us glasses of sparkling wine instead of the one chosen, upon pointing it out they replied that this was what had been reported, finally they changed them for us. Chipped water jug. The service is completely inattentive. The menu is fixed, at a cost of €70 (wines excluded), very high for the quality of the food we ate. “Elaborate” dishes that didn't make it, because once tasted they turn out to be bland and careless in their presentation. The menu included: 2 cold starters with hard seafood salad, fairly dry turbot, good raw scampi and cuttlefish tagliatelle with peas which unfortunately prevailed over the fish. 2 hot appetizers including two stuffed mussels per person, which are bready covering the flavor of the mussel. Good roasted octopus with potato cream. A first course with celery in sauce with prawns and cuttlefish, unpresentable both for the pasta format chosen and for the rubbery fish and completely unrelated seasoning. Second course croaker tender but tasteless, combined with not good escarole. For "dessert" a dome of lemon and vanilla sorbet was not received, literally just ice that was difficult to cut. Very few things about the entire menu were good and unfortunately, with great regret, expectations were not lived up to. I don't recommend.

16/08/2024: Truly suggestive place, fresh, genuine dishes, with attention to every detail. At the end of the dinner it was nice to chat with the owner, Mr. Mauro, who told the story of the trabocco created by him with passion and love. Recommended experience.

03/08/2024: Cena con amici passata in questo locale che da tempo volevamo provare. Siamo stati accolti dallo staff in modo cordiale gentile. Abbiamo mangiato all'esterno in un ambiente tranquillo. Cena a basa di piatti abruzzesi. Abbiamo provato vari antipasti tipici per poi dedicarci agli arrosticini e alle grigliate di carne. Porzioni abbondanti, cibo squisito. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
