Special mention goes to the tacconcini alla Filippo. Authentic flavor, but the chef's skill is evident, as he manages to balance sweet, savory, and spicy.
14/07/2026: A restaurant with attention to detail. A complete culinary experience, fresh, high-quality food with surprising flavor combinations. It's also wonderful to be able to enjoy the wine tasting together. I highly recommend it!

02/06/2026: Fresh fish and ever-changing ideas for pairing it with different dishes, depending on whether you're talking raw, hot, or cold. Specifically, we sampled complete appetizers with oysters and noteworthy raw fish, smoked spaghetti with Normandy butter, anchovy sauce and bottarga, and to finish, a crispy, dry fried fish. The Trebbiano wine from an Abruzzo winery was paired with the dish.
The price was absolutely competitive and in line with what we tasted.

A young team truly lives up to expectations. Absolute compliments, and my advice is to book well in advance, given the popularity of the place.
12/07/2026: I had a really good meal, real, fresh, quality fish, perfectly cooked, just the right portions, fast service, and friendly, helpful staff. The quality-price ratio is hard to find elsewhere. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely go.

14/07/2026: Here, we unexpectedly found a beautiful setting, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. In this scorching July, there's a wonderful sea breeze that, along with the comfortable and spacious furnishings, welcomes and pampers us. The food is classy, beautifully plated, and served with great care and attention. It's plentiful and excellent quality. The price is reasonable, and it's a must-try experience for anyone visiting the Trabocchi Coast.
12/07/2026: First experience at Trabocco. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, but a very long wait—almost four hours to finish dinner. The fixed but high-quality menu is obviously seafood-based. They offer a children's menu.

11/08/2026: The place is beautiful. There are no words to describe it, but there are some buts.
The food, in my personal opinion, isn't worth the price. 60 euros per adult and 30 euros per child...
I'm not talking about the number of courses, but the quality. The attention isn't terrible! But it's not an unforgettable dinner. That's my personal opinion, and it doesn't necessarily reflect the truth.
The service, I'm sorry, is the sore point. They're not ready.

They booked me a cozy table on the terrace with a great view and plenty of air.
The service was so-so; I had to ask and get up for some bread.
The food was decent; it didn't blow me away. I don't want to overdo it, but at least they had a scampi tail (maybe bad luck) in the fried food instead of just heads, which I usually can't eat.
The price of €70 for two aperitifs is fair.

Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious.
Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent!
The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful.
This place is truly a treat!

22/07/2026: We had lunch yesterday at La Balena; there were eight adults and one child. We all thought the food, the wine, and the place were spectacular. The seafood salad was delicious (I'd tried others before at different restaurants), and the spaghetti alle vongola was incredibly tasty. It was truly a 10 out of 10. The sea views made us want to go for a swim at the beach in front after lunch.
