01/09/2023: We were so looking forward to experiencing this restaurant at the Timeo, but we were disappointed. Of course, the setting is beautiful and the waitstaff was attentive. But, the food? Meh. I don't understand how they merited a Michelin star. They asked what kind of food we liked for the "special" tasting menu. We said beef and seafood. So, every course was either seafood or vegetarian (no meat). Each dish was served at room temperature and none of it was special. In particular, we did not care for the eggplant, which appeared to be pureed. Here's what we liked: the bread and the wine (the sommelier was great). And, the dessert was fine. We were told that they were making a price reduction on my meal because I did not eat it. But, that never happened. We were happy when the 3-hour ordeal was over. We've stayed at the Timeo twice before. We've never had an experience quite like this one. My $25 meal at Malvasia the next night was better than this tasting menu.

17/08/2023: Spectacular balcony table overlooking Taormina & Ionian Sea and boats, magnificent 7 course degustation dinner; special wedding anniversary occasion. 23/07/2023: Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Cucina molto buona, personale garbato e cortese. Esperienza da ripetere. Consigliatissimo.
