08/08/2025: Quattro birre e tris 35 euro senza scontrino e senza spiegazioni. Qualità pessima ma soprattutto prezzi alle stelle. La puzza della fossa biologica faceva da contorno ad una serata assolutamente da non replicare MAI PIÙ

27/06/2025: The staff were cold, rude, and completely unprofessional. We were quoted an absurd extra charge just to sit at a certain table, with no explanation — and when we questioned it, they treated us with open hostility. We felt so uncomfortable we left without eating — and yet they still made us pay for tap water we hadn’t asked for. Truly disgraceful service. Avoid this place at all costs.

15/07/2025: Low Tide: LOW perhaps referring to the pizza, and that's understandable. TIDE definitely refers to the sea of water on top of the inedible pizza caused by the poor quality of the mozzarella and ingredients (if you find them added with a magnifying glass: pizza with sausage in theory, but in practice five 1cm pieces. Same thing for the one with cooked ham). Never eaten such a bad pizza, which we even left. Extremely high prices and terrible quality. Never again.

20/07/2025: An experience to forget Sirenella in Ischia is, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurants I've ever set foot in. I don't know where to start: the embarrassing service or the tasteless food? As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with the same kindness reserved for a tax bill. Distracted waiters, interminable waits, and management that seemed haphazard. The menu promised "local specialties," but what we received seemed like something out of a school cafeteria from the 1980s. The pasta was overcooked, the fish—if it was indeed fish—was rubbery and flavorless. The house wine? It tasted corked and disappointing. And the final bill was the icing on an already indigestible cake: Michelin-starred prices for a meal that not even a desperate fast food joint would serve. A word of advice: if you're in Ischia and pass by Sirenella... keep walking.

20/07/2025: I'm giving 1 star because 0 stars aren't allowed. There were 6 of us. We ordered 2 clam sautés as appetizers, which were full of sand. After that, we ordered a first course of fusilli with pecorino cheese and mussels, which was left on the table because it was bland and the pasta was soft. Then we ordered 5 zingare, unaware that the bread wasn't "cafone" but a "saltimbocca" type, and it was RAW. After that, we went to the cashier to ask for the bill and were served the most bitter dish of all: €206.50 divided by 6 for having eaten only what I listed. Never again will it be an experience to FORGET.

03/07/2025: Siamo stati per cena in questo ristorante. Lo abbiamo scelto perché eravamo memori di ciò che di buono molti anni fa ci avevano detto di questo posto. L'accoglienza è stata buona, personale cortese. Abbiamo scelto il menù completo di pesce. Gli antipasti erano scarsi, le cozze gratinate le peggiori mai assaggiate. Alcune cose decenti, ma nel complesso scarsa quantità e qualità. Certi piatti ci hanno fatto pensare che stessero servendo delle rimanenze dei giorni precedenti. Poi sono arrivati 3 primi, di cui uno "spaghetti allo scoglio di mare" che sembrava lo scoglio di una zona evidentemente deserta perché oltre al pomodoro c'era poco. Un altro primo decente ma molto salato. Il risotto della casa essenzialmente riso, burro e surimi (wurstel di mare). I secondi erano scarsi di sapore, solo la sogliola gratinata al forno era decente. Il calamaro alla piastra era freddo e troppo gommoso, sembrava cotto da molte ore, ma chissà quante. Il sorbetto servito nel bicchierino di carta del caffè e il tiramisù tirato fuori dal freezer ancora semisurgelato e dall'aspetto poco invitante; lo abbiamo guardato con perplessità e lo abbiamo lasciato lì. Il pane era di almeno il giorno prima, ma in compenso il vino bianco della casa era buono. Anche l'acqua in bottiglia era buona. Ci siamo fatti due risate durante la cena, perché o la prendi così, o ti arrabbi, e non volevamo rovinarci la serata ulteriormente, anche perché il cameriere era molto gentile e ci ha fatto simpatia. Ci dispiace per un posto che aveva una ottima nomina e ci spiace per noi che lo abbiamo scelto (prima e ultima volta). Ribadisco, personale ok.

23/03/2025: Environment without heating temperature, I don't know but we ate with our coats and a fish starter "il tegamaccio" and both ran away to another restaurant. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night

29/12/2024: To flee! Restaurant poorly located, however we chose it for its proximity to Novotel. Endless waiting, almost an hour to wait for the famous Florentine specialty "bistecca alla florentina" which we hastened to taste. Eventually my wife got massive food poisoning and has been bedridden for 2 days now, so we weren't able to visit Florence. The meat was poorly cooked, and the hygienic conditions must be more than questionable for my wife to be so ill...

13/07/2025: It's a good thing we didn't check the reviews before eating 😁 We went with the flow... Shrimp, grilled calamari, and spaghetti con vongole... very good 😋 The grillo il salinaro wine complemented the flavor. I don't know, maybe we looked our age because the portions were okay. 06/07/2025: Warning: Rip-off! Don't enter this place. I paid €8 for a portion of fish balls. Totally overpriced!! A Coke costs €3.50. The staff is unfriendly and condescending. The cash register has a large sign stating that card payments are accepted. I was refused card payment when I tried to pay.

27/07/2025: All’inizio era un ottimo ristorante dove si mangiava benissimo ed a prezzi onesti; ora che hanno fatto quattro soldi, si sono montati la testa e lo hanno fatto diventare una specie di fabbrica mangiasoldi, con ingredienti da discount e piatti fatti in serie. PS: è ora che quella cafona maleducata che sta all’ngresso a ricevere i clienti, vada in pensione.

01/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo per il primo di maggio. Abbiamo ordinato 2 spaghetti a vongole e delle trofie con frutti di mare. Piatti insipidi, per non parlare dello spaghetto a vongole, pareva pasta scaldata senza essere insaporito dal pesce, alla stessa guisa delle vongole che parevano un prodotto decongelato. Pessima esperienza non ci ritorneremo più da evitare

01/05/2025: Ristorante pessimo!!! Camerieri scostumati, titolare pessimo, veloce per sedersi ma poi lunghissima attesa una volta seduti. Cibo scadente ma cosa peggiore, alla fine sullo scontrino prezzi lievitati rispetto al menu. Una vergogna, un ristorante da sequestro ( non esagero), non consigliato.

22/06/2025: June 21: Last night (Saturday) we went to the place around 8:15 pm (my parents and their friends) so far everything was ok. as soon as we sat down I realized and not only me that both the plates and the glasses were dirty, my glass in particular smelled and was greasy also my mother's smelled of fish (and it was not dirty from the dishwasher), even the cutlery was dirty, so a friend of mine kindly asked the waiter to bring some plastic glasses (they didn't arrive immediately) I repeat it was 8:15 pm there were not many people yet, finally they brought us water, but without the plastic glasses, so I with saintly patience asked the waiter (again) to bring the plastic glasses (it is not acceptable not to wash the glasses). After about 10 minutes the waitress takes the orders (piazza, antipasti and drinks), the antipasti arrive (good, but nothing special). They bring the pizzas: 4 four cheeses, 1 mortadella, a Greek-style pizza, a tuna and onion pizza and a margherita with mushrooms. The 4 cheeses didn't taste like 4 cheeses, but only mozzarella, the crust was burnt, my friend took the mortadella (poor quality mortadella, it was definitely the one from the supermarkets already bagged) by the way I had forgotten to make it, so my friend waited for them to make this blessed pizza, when it was time to clear the table the waiter didn't change the cutlery (saying keep the cutlery) which was unacceptable, because it was already dirty anyway. In short, it is a place that I do not recommend to anyone, it is a shame because it is in a square that is not only beautiful, but also very strategic because from there you can get to the nautoscopio, but also in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, it is not a place that is up to the level of the square (and the historic center. For what we ordered (I repeat, square, appetizers and drinks) the price was a bit high. In total we paid 160 euros.
